Had a recent issue with my CANNON Executive series safe not opening, changed the alkaline battery with a New one, exp date of Mar 2026, paid $30 for a MRC and still the safe doesn't open ?

My new Costco Cannon CS5530 safe has the keypad that looks exactly like this yet the 123456 does not open it! What does open it is the default code for the other Type B keypad. But I still can’t reprogram it!!! I’m so frustrated! What the heck?!?!

Changed battery on my older American Eagle Cannon safe. Now red lite stays on until u push the 1st nbr of ur code and it goes out and nothing happens

Purchased a new home has a gun safe but do not know the code and previous owners left me nothing on it. Would love to use it.can anyone tell me how to open it. The reprogramming video say to start with door open nut I can't so help please

if its a Cannon safe with a NL keypad, change the 9 volt battery in the NL key pad and see if it opens and reprogram with your new code

I just got mine. It won't program. I've put multiple batteries inside and all I get is a continuous beep. It looks like my tractor supply purchase is also a heavy piece of junk. Do NOT recommend.

If its a Cannon safe with a NL Keypad make sure the Alkaline battery used on the keypad is dated at least 2026 or later

Also don't use a New code with digits starting with (0) in your code cause it creates havoc with the Electronic Locking Mechanism
