The reset code will not be 000000, this is initiates the change code process. You will need to contact the safe manufacturer who installed you lock to get the Reset code
There should be a disclaimer with this video. Only after trying this a few times did I find out that the manufacturer of the safe changed the factory code. Meaning this video is useless. Not to mention the factory master code no longer works so now I’m screwed.
Hi Jamie- this video assumes you are in possession of the Manager Code. If your safe manufacturer has changed that code please contact them for assistance.
Hi my name is luis and I’m from Laredo Texas I’ve been seeing your videos and I believe I have the same problem with my security code on my gun safe I believe I put the wrong combination more than several times that I’ve been painting quote but I need to exchange I need to reset the whole numbers again I’m trying the way you’re doing it and he’s not he’s not budge I was somebody can you help me out how to reset the whole numbers again
We do not keep any codes. In many cases the Safe Manufacturer maintains a code to assist the safe owner in the event that the user code is forgotten or lost. To gain control of both codes, the Manager code and the User code, you need to follow the procedure outlined in the following video; czcams.com/video/ERGHcLgmCN8/video.htmlsi=zuBRA6e95CIO_OAd This will reset both codes to factory default as follows: The Manager code will be 111111 and the User code will be 123456. You can then change both of these codes to unique codes that only you know. This is accomplished by following the change code process as identified in this video. czcams.com/video/0Ls6AbId96A/video.htmlsi=QjbaoJ2apJmdasfX
Didn’t work on ECSL-0601A…help! My wife’s brother just died, and she is the executor of his estate! She has all the other codes which are the same, but for some reason the one for this safe won’t work. It’s a 2015 or 2016 model. ECSL-0601A071109…
This process only works if you have a valid Manager code. You likely have only the user code. Please check with the safe manufacturer who installed your safe. They likely hold the Manager code as a reset for these kinds of situations.
This is fine & dandy if your lock still uses the super 1 1 1 1 1 1 . Mine did not. I called Cannon & they fixed me right up in no time. Thnx, Cannon !!!! That's why i purchased yoor product. :)
Hi Kieran Griffith - Our locks come with a default Super/Manager Code of 1-1-1-1-1-1 and a default User Code of 1-2-3-4-5-6. The video is showing you the process using the default codes as an example. However the manual states that the first operation when installing our lock is to change the Super/Manager Code from its default to a code only known by the installer/user. It is very important to keep these codes secure and only the owner of the safe (or the manufacturer of the safe) will have these codes. In this way your safe security is maintained. Very often the safe manufacturer changes the Super/Manager code and then records this code with the safe serial number, so that in the case of a lost code, the safe owner can call the Safe Manufacturer to receive this code and recover his system. I hope this clarifies this issue for you.
The Manager Code can open this lock. This code is changed from default upon first use by installer or end user. What I am showing in the video is how you can recover from an unknown code using the known manager code - that is not to say that you can open anyone's safe with the default code - it is changed from default and only the installer or owner has the actual code.
The change process for the Super Code is detailed in the manual that is sent with the lock. Safe lock installers complete the process of changing the Super code upon installation.
This should be called "you forgot the code you just everyday, but remembered the one you used once" with no other info in the title. That way nobody would watch it
The default manager code has been changed from 111111 to a unique code for security purposes by the safe manufacturer. You will need to contact your safe manufacturer to get the unique code.
I am not sure what you are referring to as a "super master bs code", but if you are asking how you change the Manager code, here are the steps: Enter 000000, then enter existing Manager code, then enter new 6 digit manager code, then repeat the new 6 digit manager code. If would like assistance please call our tech support team at 805-988-8088.

Well I figured I would swing back around one more time. My safe code is gone, I contacted rhino safe As well as a certified gun safe locksmith. Rhino medals told me and the locksmith as long as he verified it was my safe. At my house, they would give him the super code. I was pumped its been a while to long I need to get in to it asap. So he shows up follow what they told him to do we call them the tech gets on the phone. No, they will not give us the code. Must have perfect purchase with ID that matches the proof of purchase. Here's what I found was strange they will give him the drill points. The manufacture is giving the locksmith the way in my safe. The difference is I have to pay 700 bucks. I didn't see what the difference was why not just give the guy the code if you're gonna give them a way in the safe. Why not give him a code? Anyway before I just cut into the side of it and destroy my safe. I can't justify paying $700 to drill and repair my $400 safe. Is there ANYTHING I can do before doing that i would rather not have to do that like a master super code That maybe you guys keep in case of some type of crazy situation possibly? Anyways I appreciate the help.
@@jamesleinauer9208 Hi James - I understand why Rhino has to verify your identity as the registered owner because it would be irresponsible to give you a code if you are not the authorized safe owner. Of course even if you are not the owner but are in possession of the safe, you could hire a locksmith to drill open the safe and convince the locksmith that you are the owner. It would then be up to the locksmith to determine if you are in fact the owner. They wont give the locksmith the registered owner's Manager code. Sorry you are in this spot. Can you go back to the store where you bought the safe to get a copy of the receipt?
