The scene where Daemon has the torch and is in the dragon tunnel takes place much later in his life when he is married to Rhaenyra. His hairstyle and attire confirm this. When he has the egg and his gold cloaks outside Dragonstone, that is much earlier in the chronology. When Daemon is a gold cloak with really long hair, that's young Daemon before Viserys marries Alicent and has sons. Short hair Daemon as we see when the Velaryons come to court is when he is fighting in the Stepstones for his own kingdom. And the Daemon that is in the dragon tunnel and at the beach with Rhaenyra in the first trailer, that's elder Daemon near the beginning of the dance or shortly after marrying Rhaenyra which is in 120 AC, fifteen years after he was a gold cloak.

I replied to a comment and tried to explain it to him too. And tho we don’t know if they are condensing Daemon’s plots, the super short hair… where he’s being beaten up…. May be when his “time” with Rhaenyra is discovered. (It then cuts to Daemon and Rhaenyra getting married). …. So I feel like they will marry her to Laenor pretty fast after she’s caught. Because his hair, though slicked back is still short.

As time jumps to the Red Spring…it is between chin and shoulder. Ep 10 looks like bit longer. Shoulder length. 4 lengths.
If that's the case, then the only part I got wrong is the placement of the tunnel scene. Otherwise that's all what I said those scenes were. Oh well, even if that's not literally when he goes to get the egg he will still have to go into the dragonmont and get one. Makes sense they'd use that footage to make that implication if not literally true when the show comes out what that scene is of.
@@JoeMagician don’t worry! I think people are enjoying chatting about the scenes, to about right or wrong! Who knows! It would break my heart if he is getting a dragon egg for his soon to be child with Laena, and the child dies. Seems about that time period. His hair is longer in the final episodes. But could be for Daemon and Rhaenyra’s child. Either way, so sad. Have the egg waiting and simmering on a fire (I guess in that image we see?) and they don’t survive. 😭

Also, random twist: Mysaria might be Daemon's lover, but what if she's totally not enamored with him and just playing HIM along since he's so full of himself/the playboy. >__> NICE note on the coloring. Did you notice that Deamons hair has different length in different parts of the trailer? Apart from obvious one on the fiest, hi has medium lenght when escaping the dragon and long during scene with dragon egg.
I didn't notice much of a difference tbh, they looked the same length to me
@@JoeMagician it is. it’s done to show time. Starts very long. Down his back. You could wear ponytail. Like you see with the gold cloaks. And egg exchange. Then very short when he’s getting beaten up by Cole. And for Rhaenyra’s wedding…. Slicked back short. Laena funeral it is between his jaw and shoulder.
@@Ashley_e yes I saw the short haired difference, I didn't see the others. Obviously there is time jumps, I went on context from the events being shown.

Criston beating the crap outta Daemon when caught for “spending time” with Rhaenyra. And then Cole suffering, I’m so sure, when Daemon and Rhaenyra eventually get married, is a mood. You lost Criston. And you breathe life into a war over it. He’s something else, that guy. So cute. But such a pitiful fool.
Maybe, it wasn't Criston who discovered him. There's so little context I didn't want to say one way or the other. Could easily be Harwin Strong getting beaten up, or really anyone. Thats what the kingsguard do, especially someone as violent as Criston.
@@JoeMagician for sure! It is def misleading cuts. They are at different locations. Seems he’s getting dragged by guard at 1:08 of trailer. It’s more my hopeful thinking Criston lets loose into Daemon when he’s caught. Then it cuts to their wedding. :) The idea is fun. I’m clearly here for salt on Criston’s wounds😜
Thoroughly enjoyed this video man wouldn't mind more like it and honestly as someone who hasn't cared at all what so ever about house of the dragon (not because I don't think it's gonna be good I just want winds lol) you got me interested and Matt Stone as well looking forward to see what he is gonna do with one of the best characters In fire and blood. Part of me didn’t like that the first black house we got in this universe was the Valyrian servant house*…especially with the first black character we saw in Westeros having been a pirate…but the Velaryon’s are my favorite or 2nd favorite house; I waffle between them & the Martells. So if we can’t have a black house at the very top, at least it’s my favorite 2nd house.
*Assuming the Velaryons are Valyrian, and not descended from an earlier dragon empire.
A minor and cosmetic note, but none of the Targaryens look believably blonde/silver haired.
