It is indeed feeling like the fandom is waking up from a Long night. A long night of despair and anger. lol I'm really looking forward to this show.
A couple of corrections since the extended trailer came out after I finished this: The guy in the cave is Craghas Crabfeeder, not Daemon. And it's Rhaenyra and Criston Cole riding through the woods near the beginning of the trailer.
Also at 02:00 it's Daemon not Viserys, whoops.
I don't think Daemon looks surprised at 5:38 more like a "how dare you...as if" kind of attitude towards the King's guard.
2:04 It's Daemon on the iron throne, not Viserys

I find people's interpretation of Rhaenys quite interesting. I don't take her line to Allicent to be on Allicent's side - it defs felt accusatory/sinister towards her imo. I could be wrong, but I don't get from it the read you do.
I think she's going to play much more an Olenna Tyrell role based on what Eve Best has said in her interviews and the clips they've shown. Not overtly sinister, but definitely not out to help anyone but her family and playing on the inexperience of the two queens.

King Viserys maybe saw Dynaryes defeat the white walkers in a dream and thought it was raynera , that’s why he insisted on having her as the queen.

I know there is a growing consensus against it but i still think the last shot of a dragon we get in the trailer could be Vhagar. That dragon's color can be seen as bronze imo and while leaning forward we see the bright green eyes and i think i see some green / blue highlights on the body / behind the head. All of which line up to the fairly recently updated description info from GRRM about Vhagar for artwork featuring the dragon. Plus that dragon looks less yellow to me than previous glimpses of Syrax. And we already see Syrax a few times earlier in the trailer so why the need for the close up like that. Could go either way but i think that might still be Vhagar.

i truly think one of the main reasons that monarchs want a son on the throne is because the wife takes his last name. if rhaenyra velaryon becomes queen and her son jacearys or however its spelt becomes king then its the velaryon dynasty now. i really think that plays a part whether ppl realize it or not. because look female targaryens have dragons too so theyre just as much warriors as men.
Not necessarily. In Westeros there have been a few occasions where a major House has continued through the female line when the husband took the wife's house name. It happened with the Lannisters a few centuries before the conquest when a Lannister king died without a male heir and his daughter married someone from House Lefford who then changed his name to Lannister. And in ASOIAF it's implied that Harrold Hardyng, the heir to Robert Arryn, would become Harold Arryn upon his ascension to lordship of the Vale.

Boremund Baratheon swears an oath to stay loyal to Rhaenyra but when the time comes he doesn't just sides with Aemond but also gets her son killed .. and then years later same Baratheons again raised a rebellion against Targaryen and ended them.. always have been traitors
