The Velaryon funeral we will most likely see all dragons in one scene or at least in the same episode. It was said driftmark looked like the new Valyria with all the dragons. We also seen leaked photos of a sarcophagus with the Velaryon sigil and women's face engraved in stone. Which confirmed we will be having that funeral on driftmark.
Could Daemon walking through the caves in dragonstone (Similar to Jon & Daenerys season 7) be implying he knew about the white walkers/night king?
maybe he scribbled them? doubtful, but still fun to think of it.

@@ianvera4299 it was anticlimactic in terms of how the story played out. I watched a lot of slow scenes that never adequately paid off. they were just lazily resolved 🤷🏽♀️

I think following Valyrian cultural practices is also showcased by young Rhaenyra's costume. It is not classically western/European. Maybe they'll show Rhaenyra and Laenor's wedding as per Valyrian customs in addition or in place faith of the seven custom.

The dagger is almost certainly after Aemond lost his eye. Condal loves his props and he will give us a worthy story destined to spill the tea!
if they stick with the canon plot line, the dagger scene won't be after aemond loses his eye. in the background of alicent holding the dagger you can see graham mctavish who plays harrold westerling. harrold canonically dies in 112 AC and aemond doesn't lose his eye until around 120 AC
The scene with Damon in a sword fight could be when he killed the sea lord of bravos son in a duel to Mary Leana Veleryon his 2nd wife
Except that he is fighting someone wielding a Morningstar, which many people have pointed out is the signature weapon of Criston Cole.

She seems to pleased for it to be her wedding. She hated Laenor and heavily objected to the match. Its more likely that its the banquet where Viserys had everyone pledge their fealty to her as the future queen

Interesting, I never thought about Rhaenyra being a mix of Dany and Cersei. Not sure if I agree, especially book Cersei, but it’s an interesting thought.

I would also argue that Meleys will be heavily used, alongside Vhagar & Caraxes, in the first season since Rhaenys has a major role. She is part of one of the opening conflicts of the Dance at the Battle at Rook's Rest, so they may spend a good deal of screen time with her to make the death all the more dramatic for the casual viewers (think Ned's beheading).
Meleys was considered to be one of the swiftest dragons in Westeros, easily outpacing Caraxes and Vhagar. By 129 AC, Meleys had grown lazy, but was still fearsome when roused. Meleys was old, cunning and no stranger to battle.
In the first season Maester Aemon told Jon that his father was Maekar, and his brother Aegon reign after him and was succeeded by his son Aerys whom they called the Mad King.
But when i learn about the Targaryen family tree, i notice that the mad king's father was Jaehaerys II. So, can anyone explain this ?? 🤔
Yeah, the show cut out Jaeherys II to make the lines Aemon was speaking better. It's an awkward name, and breaks up the flow. They cut him, thinking correctly that Jaeherys is the most minor of minor kings and he'll never come up in the rest of the show.

Good on you, mate, cool analysis. But I think you could benefit from editing because even at 1.25x and 1.5x speed sometimes, this dragged. Full disclosure, I do have ADHD. But there were a lot more words in here than information (which is very impressive, because there was a lot of info!) Just in case this is helpful in future, definitely not trying to give you a hard time.
The initial recording was 45 minutes, so this is a very cut down version. I think the problem is that I left too much time in between some words and sentences. That made it feel halting which created that antsy feeling. But I didn't notice until I had already uploaded it, and youtube doesn't allow you to replace files soooo stuck with it.

First I thought the "new" throne was cool but after a better look it is dumb, melting steel with poking swords off the ground is weird.

Honestly, I doubt that House of the Dragon will succeed, I wish it would, but sadly I don't think that it will attract any audience that Game of Thrones had. The teaser was good, but it doesn't had anything that impressed me, because it felt like a teaser for seasons 7 and 8.
