Chanel’s Manchester Takeover

In today's video, we're talking about the Chanel Show in Manchester, alongside the Manchester Modern exhibition at Victoria Baths, curated by Factory International. Reminds me that I need to seek out more photo exhibitions. I live quite near Stockholm and Fotografiska Museet (photography museum) is great but I need to find other channels/places to learn about these... I wonder if there's something like bandsintown but for exhibitions...?

Never mind the Chanel show. Loved the documentary style photography, particularly the monochrome shots. I think a Leica Q2 Monochrome could be a great choice to have a go with, if you knew someone to borrow it from.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the shots; I really enjoyed this style of photography. I've been playing more with street photography recently (my next few videos will all touch on this) and it's been so refreshing. That's a great idea!

Do you mind sharing what flash and main focal point you used with your Sony A7IV? I loved the lighting!

I used the Godox V1 (amzn.to/4ao9Hk9) and focal length wise it varied between 28-70 but probably mostly around 35-50
