Wayne is such a likeable guy that he can make allies pretty easily, like all those people during the prom episode when he was getting beaten up but eventually saved by the students at the school.

Wayne works till the jobs done, and on pay day he finds out that the boss is gonna get the rest of the crew deported so he can avoid paying them. I don’t want to spoil the rest because the scene that follows is pretty awesome and reading it doesn’t do it justice.

This is so relatable. Got hired as Plumber Assistance, he would let me hammer a wall for 5 days for pipe instalment and toilet for a church on different floors. On the 6th day we went to this one customer house, he yell at me for not knowing his other tools name telling me i should've know it all within a week when all he gave me was a hammer and drill during those previous days. I left my previous job as Sales Executive and clearly told him i have no experience, he said no problem. Now im currently jobless for 3 weeks.
If you see a young man struggling to do work, teach him. Be a father figure in their life even for just a shift at work. Many young men grew up without a father in the house (especially African Americans statistically). Nothing will get better if we don't try to make the people around us better. Hi, Mexican American construction worker here. All I can say is the kid is at least in the 80th percentile of guys I've seen at this job. I was maybe 82nd. It's not that the job requires much brains, but it does require spatial awareness, dexterity, an understanding of processes and order of operation. These are things that you and your body need to learn. You put a Harvard guy in there, he's gonna do worse that the 40 year old who can't speak English. My dad's 97th percentile and the guy's been using "Im" instead of "I'll" in his text messages. Still can build a whole house blindfolded.

It’s not hard to teach yourself using the internet. Just look at the numerous people who do such things from teaching themselves programming to literally building boats. Ofcourse there’s fail and error but the newer generation don’t even try and will quit halfway through a task just cause they can’t be bothered completing it. They’re so incredibly unmotivated or just flat out lazy. First of all. Companies should give more space and homeowners should allow ample parking for utilities to be unloaded. Second the only reason that tile would crack like that from a tool being dropped especially like a 2 lb screwdriver the only reason I would break like that would be they didn't put enough putty under it to give it a proper foundation so they were all those spots meaning if the homeowner was the step of their later down the line it would put a hole in the floor under his own weight
the worst part is that around 30% of clients are like this, total a holes that you cant even slap because you would almost kill them with a single slap and they would sue you, sad world we live in and what we got to endure during working on someones house for them to live better.

Tile that broke was clearly installed wrong, if you’ve ever done tiling you’d know they don’t break that easily done right, it probably wasn’t set evenly against the floor and couldn’t disperse energy into the grout.

First of all. Companies should give more space and homeowners should allow ample parking for utilities to be unloaded. Second the only reason that tile would crack like that from a tool being dropped especially like a 2 lb screwdriver the only reason I would break like that would be they didn't put enough putty under it to give it a proper foundation so they were all those spots meaning if the homeowner was the step of their later down the line it would put a hole in the floor under his own weight

The worst thing in the world is doing a job for a homeowner who is constantly standing over your shoulder and getting shitty about things.
the worst part is that around 30% of clients are like this, total a holes that you cant even slap because you would almost kill them with a single slap and they would sue you, sad world we live in and what we got to endure during working on someones house for them to live better.

For that hammer to have smashed the tile the way it did means the mortor/plaster/whatever it's called wasn't applied evenly along the underside of the tile. The cracking like that even the SOUND it made was from a hollow cavity. Meaning it wasn't properly placed
All this could be blamed on the foreman and the boss
