Just found your channel after trying to get an idea of how to shoot my first roll of Phoenix. Love your channel and photos!
Thank you so much! Hope you have fun shooting Phoenix!
Great review, super helpful tips & context 🎯 Subscribed ! 🏆 Thanks
Thank you so much! So glad that you enjoyed it!
Can't believe I missed this walk but I see a few familiar faces (aside form yours of course :) ) Chinatown totally lends itself to this film.
I'll be out in Manchester tomorrow and/or Friday with Phoenix in my Canon A-1. Decided to shoot it at 125 so let's see how it goes.
CTL will be developing mine too but I'll do my own scanning.
Ah gutting! I’m sure they’ll be doing more walks in the future. And yes, completely agree about Chinatown!
Enjoy shooting with it! Very interested to hear about your experience scanning it. I haven’t given scanning it myself a go as of yet!
Man, everyone had a photowalk with this new film stock!!
Yeah! I think they held a ton of photo walks globally if I’m not mistaken!
always loved a themed photoshoot
love that at 236 , and one like this would be good for a printing example, one with the halation & vibrant reds
Thank you! I’ve not printed from this roll yet but I’ll give it a go in the new year. I did print from some other rolls though, so a video will be coming in the new year about that!
Good results. Perhaps a happy medium is zbout iso, 125 or 160.
I think you’re maybe right! I’m going to keep experimenting. One thing I have also noticed though is that where there is overexposure in highlights, there is next to know detail/information, even when printing, so that might be a problem if youre shooting it slower than 200. I’m going to shoot some more at a slower speed and see how it deals!
