In the last six months three are the network to be with speed has become the best on 5g due to the investment from three. There were some issues 18 months or so ago whilst they migrated to a truly cloud setup. All worth the price reliable fast.
@@KizzaBoiz I had the speed all over those city’s. The range is perfect before I can agree mmWave sucked. But here in USA we have fiber everywhere and cable and our cable upload speeds are getting to 200 now.
@@dylanjb4065 for me it’s decent, been with them 10+ yrs but it’s a mix opinion, best thing for you to do if ur unsure, whack a £10 credit on their PAYG option and see what it’s like in ur regular areas. Real life and coverage checkers aren’t the same. Get first hand on
Have u had a look if ur phone is compatible with WiFi calling… uses ur home WiFi to boost signal for phone calls etc, natural to get no signal in very built up/ remote areas
Yeh no point being with a company regardless to how good they are if they don’t suit you for coverage. Three suit me perfectly and the speeds are insane for me with such cheap prices
ok so today i tested 5 g outside in my coldesack i live ona small hill. i can see the cell tower line of sigh prob 900 metres away 3 bars signal and i get a slow ass 250 mbps? wondering why is so low. tested at 2.40 pm. iphone 13 pro max. i was exspecting 300-400 5 g has only just come to my area. the cell tower is a big one prob 100 ft tall. and its 1 km within me i was testing. clear sigh no trees buildings in the way. is this fast as its gona get? 250 mpbs is decent but its not the 400 500 600 mbps i see other people getting online . its three network. maybe i need to test other areas. but yeh 251 mps i maxxed out. i guess off peak times it would be faster. any ideas. i live in a small town. population of several thousand. i guess il need to go to other 5 g areas and test them. in the south west.
@@broski4851 it’s in a beta mode most likely. It’s definitely not going to be the final speeds you get. I started with 100bps and about 6 months after a couple of online chats and now I get 1000 but it’s still can be a tab patchy. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Just look forward to greatness my friend
n78 band @700mhz? prolly this config, I get the exact same speeds and ping with jio 5G in India running this config. You can do a network field test by dialing * 3001 # 12345 # * and then looking into serving cell info/ rat info

Amazing Three UK speeds ❤️❤️
Very impressive at midband fastest speed. i see it over 5gbps and almost 700 up on the Las vegas on Verizon mmwave.
I wish they'd configured the TDD band to allow more upload speed, but it's still incredible.
Yeh same bud!
What's the best way around that ? Using a third party router I'm guessing?
TBH I don’t use three, I was with 3 but my download speed on 4G was 3mbps. Glad I switched to Tesco and have 5G on Tesco
Zparaszm do siebie. Super wynik
Gratulacje
Wow, I got 2gbps down in Florida on Verizon mmwave, but thats impressive considering its midband
100% mate
I got 3gbps down in Tampa and Boston area.
@@AsdzWins1 I mean that’s impressive but the UK uses different technologies which favours range over speed…

@@KizzaBoizyea on EE 5G I got 20mbps on one area and another (same tower) 700-800 mbps
Where in the UK was this speed test done? Because when I was with 3 their data signal was awful.
South of England, never had an issue with signal
@@KizzaBoiz I am in the south of England. Lucky.
Their 4G is bad, their 5G is great (if you are within range of it).
I’m in the north with Sky and it is terrible, I have been thinking of getting Three so is it any good?

There’s no way thats low band it has to be mmWave
Well, I can assure you, this was taken off a UK variant of the iPhone 13 Pro Max ! ☺️ therefore not MmWave
@@KizzaBoiz oh totally forgot about that, then that’s midband
@@TopCars90 It's n78 (3.5 GHz), 100 MHz channel, 4x4.
sadly EU iphones and other brands don t support mmWave
Why does it say Vodafone ?
It’s just a random server it’s connected to. The speed purely Network Three
I’m switching off three because I can’t call anyone where I live, they can’t hear me and the 5g is great too so it’s pretty sad

MM wave?
Not sure, I assume it’s mid band because in the UK we don’t have the MM band on the side of the phone, still great speeds
Is there near the mask ? How far away would you say you was away from it ? And where was this in the UK ?
@@djscottyb1 south of England, I dunno 250-500 meters but I was inside a massive building with a LED roof the mass has quite a dense tree surround
