DIY how to remove and install the sideview mirror assembly on a Honda vehicle. This will be the same for majority of all Honda vehicles. Accord, Civic, Fit, CR-V, Ridgeline, Crosstour, Odyssey, Pilot, S2000, Insight, Element, Passport, HR-V, Prelude, Clarity, CR-Z, Del Sol, Hybrid.
I'm working on my 2013 Honda Accord Coupe. This will be the same for all 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 Honda Accord vehicles for both coupe and sedan. Side view mirror replacement.

good day, is there a way to add a side mirror with the camera to a 9th gen coupe 2014 that did not come with one? basically, swap and add the function.

Where do you get another of those white clips? I managed to get my mirror off, but that clip is like a zip tie and can't be moved between mirrors.
How do you put that last piece with the speaker back on? Everything else was easy but this piece refuses to go back in place

I know his video is a year old, I hope you see my comment lol. I need to replace my passenger mirror and I have a 2017 accord ex. It does have the camera. Can you give me some advice of where to find a replacement and if installing is any different because of the camera. Please and thank you
Getting the little clip out from the door underneath the paneling is much harder than I anticipated. Idk how you did it so quickly. Unsure how to apply pressure to both sides to initiate the release.

Can you put a camera mirror on a non camera mirror model?
You probably could but will need to figure out the electrical wiring. Honda does not use the same wire harness between different trim levels so there will not be already prewired.
So the little black tab between the 3 screws won't release? You have to take the door off?
You have to take the door off because you have to disconnect the wire harness for the mirror.
That part should be a short. “So I’ve easily exposed the three screws that hold the mirror…now we need to remove the whole door panel.” I died a tiny bit at that point.

Can the LED inside be upgraded?
Not really. It's not a bulb. It's led chip that is soldered onto a pcb board. In order to access it, you have to dremel or melt the led unit cover assembly to access the circuit inside.

You didn't mention the fact that if you replace a mirror with a camera, the camera has to be calibrated. Otherwise it will show "Aiming is not complete", when you use the right turn signal. My local dealer charges $125 for this calibration on top of the $580 for the mirror.
There is a calibration mapping image that you can print and use to calibrate the mirror yourself
Can the side-view camera be upgraded? Factory is poor at best.
Maybe, but I don't know how that will affect the lane watch aiming procedure.
