I love it when you guys do videos like this!!! Keep it up.

One more awesome video really love these back to back Comparison tests Real world testing🙋♂️🇬🇧
Another great episode!!!
Awesome comparison guys!
I love your video's keep them coming.
Excited about the head studs. Love to see Will and his enthusiasm, Dustin making googly eyes at the camera 14:54...
Go back to about 13:00 and you'll see when someone walks in!
Hopd to see this build make it to the diesel challenge great work
Love the fact that you test ideas with your money
Just thought I'd let you guys know my 6 month old little girl waves at you guys every time I turn your videos on of the evening.
good video 👍
Ahh science, isolate the variables. One change at a time.
This is so siiick
4:16 you don't think that would have hurt the "stock" power numbers any?
Goes to show the inefficiency of the stock head for anything over 500hp! I’m trying to shove roughly three times as much air through a stock head.... haha uh oh
PowerDrivenDiesel I’m pleasantly surprised with the gains, just like you guys are! We all have known for a long time the stock head isn’t all that great, but 100 plus hp on a 600hp truck is serious! Makes me wish for one of these heads on ol blue
You would be surprised how much horse power a cooling fan robs. I would guess no less than 25hp on the 6bt.. You should do a dyno test with and without the fan.
Great!
660 horsepower on a blown head gasket! Sweet!
That's quite impressive more timing for sure!#mechanicalmafiaforlife
Looks like some late nite shenanigans so..??
What is the fan solution, when will we see this truck in action, if tires are junk we didn't see any burnouts.?
I have about 16 more questions but this will suffice for now... lol
Thanks guys, love the videos
awesome
Idk bout that Hamilton head but a stock head with valves and spring can make the 3rd nut you didn't know you have drove real quick like
Would this work on my 87 civic with direct astroglide injection preheated of course.... ???? 🤔🤔🤔
The R & D 👍
Any chance over torquing may compromise the gasket?
What was the fueling setup?
what do you guys usually overtorque arp 2000s to?
Hat effect was head gasket have on that having been blown
Wonder if they sell that head gasket for a 3rd Gen?
Mechanical mafia!
Is it possible to install this cam in a 24v?
"RPM doesn't have a time element "....is that true?
Wish they had this head option when ya'all built my engine, also are the new head bolts better than the new age ARP?
I've heard they are supposed to be very comparable. Maybe a touch stronger, but time will tell
My head gasket went in the same way immediately after installing the ultimate towing compound kit with arp 2000's. I ended up getting the block decked and head surfaced o-ringed. A ton of work but oh well. Hopefully yours holds up.
Those towing compounds spool up quick and make awesome low end torque, which is a little hard on head gaskets without o-rings!
@@pddofficial True, even the machine shop guy said Surface/o-ring is probably fine. But the boost also blew out my rear main seal so it was ready for rings. Like I said, a lot of work but I feel a lot better knowing that it has all new bearing and bushings and is ready to go.
love your turbo tests, they really help me make decisions on what to buy. god, I hate Justin though with his constipated look on his face, and when asked what's on his truck he won't tell just says you have to go watch my gay mud videos if you want to know.
I understand peak flow numbers but wondering why it didn't pick up power
turbos choking non waste gated turbo on the truck
Finally some real data about this. Also why did Hamilton get rid of the 182/214?
@@pddofficial That's unfortunate. I was really looking forward to putting that cam in my VP truck later this year
Hot head retorque is really needed?
@@pddofficial thanks for answer
Well guys, hopefully it ll atleast flow a little better throughout the torque band! Lol!
Is that hamilton war head or a oem style reworked head
Blumpy in cedar city???? I'm in ....
cam plus head and intake... I was guessing a 100 all the way.....Fan was a surprise, but what it should gave made!! Bump the timing and repost!!!
Have... It was HAVE......
What intercooler are you running in this truck?
Mishimoto
do you know anything about Same 1000.6 WT engine?
@@pddofficial
I think of buying a tractor. There are many different tractors. Same engine tractors are cheap but fuel systems are different.
not like a normal distributor or flat pump.
Pre-2008 wolksvagen tdi-like.ı need a 200 hp at 2000 rpm, but I can buy 130 hp.
sorry my english. ı don't know english,ı use google translate.in this link show you a picture.

That 2nd Gen is gonna make that Dyno its bitch thos time around!!! Lol!
never vaxup guys gps to find the fighters think
There is only one way to find out if the new head is long distant street worthy
Did boost drop at all?
Also did you have oil leaks under the rocker stands? Assuming you used stock stands.
Ive got there stage 2 head and no.1 was leaking pretty good. It had a steady stream spraying out. Only on number 1 though. This was the second head they sent me. I had the machine shop look the first head over and the deck wasn't flat, valve job was horrible and spring rates were all over the place. They advertise them as ready to run out of the box but I wouldn't recommend it. The second head they sent me wasn't as bad but it wasn't great. Had to take off 3 thou to clean it up. I had them send it disassembled and had my machine shop set spring installed heights and clean up valve job. At bare minimum I would disassemble and clean out all the ports as the first head was loaded with shavings from the valve job and I was told to just bolt on and go. It was amazing to see how much core shift there was from the one head to the other. That was the main concern with the first head and why my machinist told me to send it back.
I wanna see a common rail 6.2l build and horsepower and torque run
You should have checked drive pressure drop!!!!!
On you guys website under the stage 4 head it says it’s good for daily driving , towing so why don’t you suggest it for a high mileage truck ? I drive from Texas to Florida often and I’d like to put one of these heads on my truck
because it's ported out to the max, which means the ports are close to the water jackets. Towing and daily driving, especially towing though means lots of heat for long periods. This causes cracks to happen much faster than a race truck that runs 30 seconds at a time. We have the same issues with the common rail heads too, once you hog them out so much they just don't have the longevity of a stock casting. Even stock heads crack very easily, now toss in bigger valves, bigger ports and you understand.
So your saying you would cut me a deal on a stage 4 wet head with the shelf cut off so I can drive from VA to UT in my 600-700hp Fummins and see how it holds up 😀😉
PowerDrivenDiesel I’ve already got a runner intake on the truck. And electric fans. Some of us like to party 😂😎
With no fan and no air flow through the intercooler you lost a lot of HP.
Shouldve just trimmed the fan
Or a rim job ...
You changed too many variables... keep the ARP studs and you would have gained 200+ XD
1st I've ever seen someone dissing ARP Studs!? 🤨
@@whistlinduramax7723 Ever heard of a joke? Apparently not.
