Well we all know Cooper is the Master of the shafts but he handled that like a champ! As a mechanic/technician I love when Cooper said “slow is fast”! I’m way more impressed when I guy can do a job right the first time. Rather than rushing through and making a mistake. Also a double coppered injector will change the injection time and won’t hit the bowl. Your effectively changing the static timing of the injection event. Unless they changed the spec I believe the sequence on the injectors is finger tight on the injector and tube. Then 133 in lbs on the tube and 71 in lbs on the injector. Then a final torque on the tube at 37 ft lbs. I on say that because he said 60 ft lbs. ISB6.7, ISC, ISL injectors on 2007 and newer all have a connector tube final torque of 41 ft lbs. For some reason I’m picturing Cooper on the album cover of Metallica for Master of Shafts not Puppets! Love the series. Enjoy watching!
