    You fully demo how good this pedal is in the shortest time.

    NUX is kicking everyone’s ass in the pedal game right now. I Have several of their pedals, including this one…. All top notch… Cerberus, Horseman, ModCore Time Core, Atlantic, great pedals!💯👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾

    • @TheToneLounge

      They are a solid brand! People refer to anything from their part of the world as "cheap", but I don't find that NUX deserves that branding. They put out excellent sounding pedals at a very reasonable price.

      @@TheToneLounge agreed! They may have had some quality control issues when they 1st came out, but hey , I’ve gotten “brand new” pedals from some companies of supposed higher caliber that did not work so go figure. Glad Sam Ash have a return policy… I try to stay away from GC😝🤘🏾💯

      Check out their Cerberus.......same delay and reverb plus modulation effects and analogue distortions. NUX is awesome.

    The Atlantic is a great pedal. I have one.
    The only thing it really misses is a way to turn the ducking of the delays off (or have the level work as a mix knob). The ducking is desirable most of the time, but there are a few times one wants the delays to have the same volume of the original sound or even take over.
    And if NuX really wanted to "break the market", they could do a firmware update to include some "hidden features", like modulation, saturation and spread for the delays and modulation and tone for the reverbs. Like holding the switches and turning knobs for secondary controls.

      These are all very interesting points. Although it's still in an "affordable" price point for some people, having more treatability would be nice. Especially considering that it's digital and not analog. The sky's the limit with digital technology and an app.
      I received their new Tape Echo and by far, it's one of the best delays I've tried from them. Tons of tweaking options and fantastic sounding delays.

    Have this pedal for 3 years. It's simple pedal without tone of options like adding modulation or huge bank of reverbs. But everything it have sound really good and do its work just great whatever way you tweak it both on clean and distorted sound. Now I even tried to place before my preamp and it feels great even there! Even if it's not your first pedal and you have already like 5-6 pedals in pedalboard this pedal also plays well in context of chain of where you have a lot of pedals turned on before and after it (usually i have wah before it, spacy reverb and chorus after).

    • @TheToneLounge

      Great advice. This pedal is a no brainer. It's simple and has great sounds, plus it is pretty versatile for the features that it has. It's not overly complicated for the sake of it, but rather pretty intuitive to use. I really like this pedal and think it makes sense , especially for a smaller pedalboard.

    i am wondering how this pedal would stack up quality wise compared to valahalla vintageverb and delay plugins.. i'd like to use this thing for mixing bc it's stereo and looks really cool but i don't know if this is a good idea..

    • @TheToneLounge
      @TheToneLounge  Před 4 měsíci

      Well, it would be different sounding for sure. I think that this pedal sounds really good but it may not be as versatile as some of the plugins you own. That being said, using it as outboard gear would reduce some of the dsp from your computer.

      You would have to reamp, which would work but would not be very practical.

    • @mosspa1
      @mosspa1 Před 6 měsíci

      @@TheToneLounge I don't understand this response. Why would you need to reamp? I would think, depending on what the question actually was, that you could just connect it to a DAW as a send effect, and let the DAW handle all of the connectivity and signal balancing. Also, since reamping involves using an external "guitar" amp, why would you even consider doing this. I mean, who sings through a guitar amp? Granted, you would need an available stereo input on the audio interface to use the pedal as a send effect, but that is hell of a lot less complicated than a "reem,ping" solution, that I still can't get mu head around. Then again, I'm not a guitar player.

    • @TheToneLounge
      @TheToneLounge  Před 6 měsíci

      If you could find a way to hook up a guitar pedal to your audio interface and insure that the vocal track you send through it is High Z and not line-level, sure you could do that. Reamping ensures that the signal being sent to the delay is the right impedance.
