“Remember them and speak their name”. Yes, indeed! I don’t have much time to visit many graveyards, so I greatly enjoy and appreciate “walking along” with you (and also Ron, over at Faces of the Forgotten). Thank you for taking us with you!🤗

This graveyard had some lovely headstones but as you say we are sadly unable to read. I do love the Celtic crosses, the knot work on them is beautiful. Thank you so much Sue for braving the heat and humidity for us. 💕🇦🇺

I can't get over how close the graves are. I'm so glad I found Ron's and your website. Your vlogs are so very interesting. To some it's morbid, but to me it's history. Thank you. ❤

in the 1700s, graves where so expensive and often made of slate, its why the older the grave the better the condition and such good quality, some lovely old ones there Sue. Again thanks xxx

Beautiful mausoleum, amazing stonework, and the iron doors are incredible, doesn't look like it's been opened In ages. Thank you for sharing.

Hey Sue, another great video! A larger cemetery with many graves and all sorts of different style headstones. Interesting how so mamy were very old going back hundreds of years while several others were more recent. The mausoleum was both gorgeous and fascinating. So old, once again with a padlocked door, it wouldve been great to see inside, and the growimg ivy just added to it. Its so great and considerate of you to not just bring attention to these graves, but to say thier names as well - it makes me wonder how long its been (esp for some of the older ones) since thier names were spoken out loud. Forgotten no more (a nod to you know who). Thanks again! :)

Am I the only one that half expected a knock back from the inside when Sue knocked on the iron door of the mausoleum? 🤣👻

The stones are in good shape to be able to read so many and what a blessing to see that person or people cared to come in and do a great job cutting down the growth. It is so sad when some graves are totally taken over in some of the graveyards. This was a beautiful video and always thanx for reading and remembering.❤😊❤😊

This is a large Cemetery.Looks like they leave it then strumming it..Much easier to mow it regular lol!..Men don’t think do they lol!..However there was a lot of beautiful headstones in here. The one for the two little boys was so heartbreaking as always. But the one for the Much loved servant ,that was lovely.Just amazing what interesting and sometimes unexacting thing you find in Cemeteries. That’s why I always loved them even as a child when we used to walk through one on the way home from school I would be drawn to certain ones..That one had a lot of the big statues in too.Every one thought it was creepy but me lol..As I grow older I find out a lot of whys as to why I was always comfortable in them lol..Great explore and I love the big Mausoleum too we don’t seem to have them often this side of the pond .It’s more of an American thing I believe.. Thanks again Sue..Love n Light 🥰

Great walking tour Sue, and GV. This is another cemetery with a great setting for Halloween. A lot of the headstones are in good condition.
The mausoleum was very interesting, and would look better if
the ivy was removed. I have learned that, it is not as easy to find volunteers to work in a cemetery
as it may seem sometimes. This
cemetery is not in too bad shape,
but it could use a little extra help.
Thank you very much for another great video guys, take care.

Apparently, Brenda Mythen was about my age & must have had pleasant memories of the Ohio River Valley. I appreciate that since I have lived on or near the banks of the Ohio River most of my life since I was born 4 blocks from the Ohio at Maysville Kentucky in 1958, & now live within throwing distance of the riverbank in Franklin Furnace Ohio. 8{D

I know Murphy is a very common surname in Ireland and I can’t help wondering if any of the Murphys in this graveyard might be an ancestor of mine. My Murphy forbearer came to the USA just prior to the American civil war. My great-great-great grandfather Daniel Murphy.
