Thank you Sue ..This one was a lot of climbing for you too.It has been nicely kept too.I loved the memorial garden for the Sailors .My Dad was in the Navy so it always touches my heart when those who go out to sea are remembered..aA lot of these headstones are in great condition ,there are not that many damaged ones.The ones that lie down wear so bad you can hardly ever read them .It was a nice visit,such a shame the church is gone I bet it was beautiful once. What a beautiful place, the memorial garden to Sailors is lovely to see. Also the memorial garden leading to the Grotto was beautiful. I have noticed all over the world now that Graveyards and some Cemeteries are encouraging bird life and planting little garden areas with bee hives utilising the open natural look. This old Church would have been beautiful in it's day, up on the hill. Would love to know more of the history of some of these people, so interesting. Thank you so much Sue 💕🇦🇺
The memorial garden is beautiful and serene. What a perfect place to visit on a sunny day. I'm astonished at the skills required to build walls from random pieces of stone. They remain, standing strong, after hundreds of years. Another great video.

Another great walk through history. I’m curious all these stones name so many people, but doesn’t seem to be room for them all. Are they all buried in those small plots or are they just memorial markers? I hope you never run out of places to take us. 😊
It's usually family plots and they place the coffin on top of each other or beside, so depending on the plot size there could well be a whole family in there 🇮🇪🍀❤️ I love that 😊
