It's important to mention that this is pure Pakistani Sufi music. In a world where Punjabi language has been reduced to sexist lyrics reducing women to gold-diggers and where remakes have almost completely replaced original music, this is an original masterpiece by the lyricist Adnan Dhool. In an era of mindless junk being packaged as music, this is the kind of soulful music that heals the soul and it's important that it's Pakistaniyat be acknowledged because Pakistanis are often reduced to some horrible stereotypes even by some reaction channels who react to Indian stuff in order to build an Indian fan-base. Pakistan has been producing some mind-blowing music in the last few decades despite being a small industry and the creativity of our musicians, the originality of our lyricists, the diversity of our cultures and the variety of voices that have come together to produce such gems are unmatched whether anybody acknowledges them or not. Their class speaks volumes and I have a lot of respect for those who shower love on Pakistani artists without taking away their Pakistani identity. It's important to not take away from that because the world does not shy away from stereotyping us when it suits them.

Abida Parveen is a legendary singer, her family is composing sufi music for centuries. The lyrics are deeply rooted in the sufi poetry of The Punjabi language done by Sufi poets through centuries.

Naseebo (starting singer) is presenting rough and tough time, which someone already gone through, you can clearly hear and feel the pain in her voice/tone (high pitched) and Abida Sahiba (2nd singer) presenting, calm and acceptance (aspects of life) harsh realities but at the end, after suffering they decided to compromise and saying "Tu Jhoom", means "live your life" 🙏 (Tu means you and Jhoom is dance form, but here it means ignore everything) rest of the ppl on stage performing as "World".
