I can totally relate to you. my daughter who was 13 year old also got diagnosed with Autism, depression and anxiety in 2020. She'd had ADHD since she was 5 years old. These last couple of years have been hard on her because of lockdowns, no therapy, and online schooling.
It's part of the reason I put myself out there to help others through - I know it helps me seeing others in this position and give me confidence to help others (including my own kids) so it's the least I can do - We're relatively lucky in the UK with the support that's available but even there's still a long way to go - In other countries it's much worse for sure!

Our language urdu is so poetic and so deep it literally pulls you in and squeezes the emotion out of you. It just makes you think about life in such a different way. So much more deeper than when you just think oh my life is crap I just feel like sh*t. It makes you think that happiness is within you and within your relationship with God ❤️

Fellow adhd here and I genuinely find it amazing how you keep your focus and attention on this songs. I would normally take 30mins in a 5mins video because I tend to zone out alot and can't just pay and keep my attention at a giving task. You are much better than some of us in that regard.

I have a linguistics degree but have only finished reading two books since I was an adult, so I can relate to the attention span thing! Yes you kept my attentionI was mirroring and tapping into your hyper focus mode lol. Yep we do hyper focus and obsessed over some things and in my case,its reading so I find studying not that troublesome.
You mean where her voice "refracts" and the resonance??? That is the magic of Abida Parveen revered in India, even though she is Pakistani. Naseebo Laal too is absolutely fabulous. Their contrasting voices are pure magic.

Appreciate your openness regarding adhd. I've learnt more about it this year and feel like I might have it too, I'm not yet diagnosed. An adhd coach ('adhdvisualised' on Instagram and tiktok) has been a big help in understanding neurodiversity, especially as they're from the BAME community too
This one was definitely up your alley, it remains my fave song from this season for its lyrics. It's worth adding a few soulful ones from CS, off the top of my head that would be, 'Wohi Khuda Hai', 'Paar Chanaa De', 'Khaki Banda', and there's a lot more but only.. 14 seasons full of songs, hope you get through at least some, no rush 😅 PS Coke Studio Pakistan is just known as 'Coke Studio' as it was the first one ever and they didn't add the country name so a lot of peeps don't realise it's from 🇵🇰

Tu Jhoom translates to You Soar aka fly high, think the subtitles are trying to rely the meaning rather than literally translation, but still makes sense, nice reaction mate!

I tried to look for your channel about neurodiversity but couldn't to learn and and understand more about ADHD/ASD as I have an autistic kid. I would really appreciate it if somehow we could connect or if I can reach out to you to actually talk to someone who knows what ADHD or ASD is about as nobody seems to have an answer yet there are many individuals as well as institutions who claim to treat this and parents out of desperation unfortunately have no choice but to invest their time, money and efforts hoping it could make a change. I am someone who has had a tough time dealing with this situation and honestly it is kind of eating me up now from the inside.

Ms Marvel used this song, quite effectively I must add, in a tumultuous episode. A bit of research led me to finding this song and various reactions.
I can see why it was used after reading the lyrics....and that is the wonder of such a composition such as this, that it can affect you, and anyone who takes the time to listen.

Also both of them are ladies (people often mistake Abida as a man because of her husky voice).. 1st one Naseebo is veteran folk singer of Pakistan Punjabi music and the 2nd one Abida is legendary Sufi singer usually called Queen of Sufi/Sindhi music
