After 8 months of being a stage 1 focus St ive finally picked up a bigger intercooler! Its been a long time coming but im officially stage 2(intake, exhaust, intercooler).

It looks tiny to you? When I walk up to my ride, it's all shiny and on display.
Engine rear mount is a winner .certainly on the earlier mk3s
I like how the 2015 has the vents I have a 2014
I didn't get allot of power gains but if you run the new stratified tune with the Cobb TC it grabs so much better

Koriginal ST Yeah thier prices are crazy but i found some good deals on ebayt and the ST forums and some hook ups so it didnt break the bank i think ive spent 2K for everything

Great videos bro. I just recently put on the fswerks intercooler and front stress bar. The top end is so much better now with the cooler temps and doesn't torque steer so much with the traction bar.

Koriginal ST the torque steer was a bit much before and it cut it down in half. It launches a lot more straight now and feels more stable at higher speeds.
hey sorry to interject but can I get the model of the traction bar you picked up ? I need to cut down on the wheel hop and torque steer

+Mateo Oliveras more torque! Temps are in the mid 60's where I live right now so tempos are good even if I had stock intercooler ha... noticed more wheel hop in 2nd gear but I do not have a rmm yet so that could help me a lot I think... as for power or pull. I barely notice anything

Seems like the temps dont really change but seems that it changes pressure.. you're wearing sweatpants so ambient temps must be low 60s. This are the current temps where onlive now and I'm running stock fmic still and my charge temps stay mid 80s 90s tops @ outside temps of 63°. Interesting.

Another thing you kept those black pieces around the "snorkel" and the intercooler off too? Are those neccesary will it throw codes to take them out and off?
+Mateo Oliveras lol I left everything off except the crash bar bumper. And upon turning the car on and driving for the past 3 days. Everything's smooth, no codes thrown
Koriginal ST wont show a code but it will throw one. just doesn't kick in a light. you'll need a tune to kill the code from the AGS

I have the same Intercooler and I ran stage 2 and lost to a 2020 TYPE R stock but when I put it to stage 1 I was ahead of the TYPE R until 120mph before he came around me. I would say stay stage 1.

@@lest187 yea no joke!! Its crazy cause I thought it would be faster but it isn't. Stage 1 is faster by far.

Will it throw codes? What would I have to do to not make it throw codes?
Mr. ST man the only code thats thrown is for the AGS removal. it won't throw a light just be in the system. a tune fixes that or just buy a fmic that can leave the ags. either way works
Hey man. I've commented on your videos before and live in Bako. Still running mine bone stock but the most irritating thing has to be the immediate heat soak with the hot ass summers here. Definitely looking at this intercooler hands down. But wanted to ask you too, I've hit 11,700 miles with no issues so far. But I'm honestly terrified to tune it. Even stage 1 with Cobb, which is what I'm wanting. Any issues to speak of concerning reliability?

Adrienne Lusk i went with the electric focus mount. The car now hooks super well for under $60. Even with my 93 tune

+Javier Flores yes after we removed the bumper we took all the black plastic out! Including the shutter system. It must be left off with the fswerks intercooler as well

I had the same question , know with more agressive tunes runs smother but how agressive like stage 2 cobb, 275 tune montune, and on Ford tune they're included.

+Matthew Dominick I installed my blow off valve. My cold air intake. My exhaust. My mud flaps. My front lip. So yeah I do. It's hard to record and install at the same time so that why you see what you see. That's what friends are for.
