    This is next on my list! Especially with this hot Cali heat with summer coming up

    Just in case you want to know... the dimensions of this intercooler are 4.3" thick, 26.3" wide and 7.8" tall

      Thank you. I am thinking on getting on for our 2015 Escape that has the 2.0 ecoboost.

      @@kreazyd you'd be better off with the Whoosh FMIC tbh. Much cheaper and very effective.

    Been eyeing This up since I first seen it, can’t decide on this or cpe light weight...ugh, choices. Lol do you have the Garrett’s with the BOV bungs on
    The endtank?

    • @EdgeAutosport
      @EdgeAutosport  Před 4 lety +1

      Can't go wrong with either one. The Garrett doesn't have the BOV flange on the endtank.

    What’s better garret or cpe?

    • @EdgeAutosport
      @EdgeAutosport  Před 2 lety

      They are both incredibly popular, and capable of supporting high horsepower. The cpe lightweight and Garrett are very similar - while the cpe delta core is undeniably larger overall.

      @@EdgeAutosport OK! I was just wondering since I haven't seen any on youtube yet for this intercooler.

    Just picked this up from y'all last month with an Accesport. Can you tell me why my charge air temps are 20 degrees higher than ambient? Is this normal or would a tune correct it to 10 degress?

    • @EdgeAutosport
      @EdgeAutosport  Před 2 lety +1

      Well a tune wouldn't change charge air temps. Are you expecting colder temps than outside air temp? Because that's not really how it works. The stock cooler averages something like 200f degrees on pulls, where an aftermarket is more like 150f. Overworking a small stock turbo will also increase heat dramatically. So there are a lot of factors, but it's impossible to be worse than the stock cooler, that's for sure!

      @@EdgeAutosport I've seen in other cars the charge temps are 10-15 degrees higher than ambient and cools down doing pulls. Mine stays 20 degrees above and climbs a bit during WOT then cools back down to 20 degrees above again. Maybe I need a new sensor or double check everything was bolted tight. I plan on getting tuned by Alan next month and see if maybe it'll work better. With more power off course😁
