- I will take any chance I can get to be in the tractor cab. The cows moved pretty well for us! Happy to have them home, ready to start calving season. What should Grant and I buy next?
Send me your favorite snacks!! Or stickers! Or letters!! Or things that are special to where you're from!! I love it all. :)

I never thought watching someone farm could be enjoyable but it is. At 73 it's strange how things have changed. Things I can no longer physically do just watching brings peace to the time I have left. Than You. Walt
What I like best about watching Laura, Grant and sometimes Laura's dad is simply that they are each good people!
Its great to see happy young hard working people that smile an have fun. American farmers are heroes forsure. Thank you
You are so enjoyable to watch and listen to because you make the world a better place.
Thats Some Snowy Day!! Nice Day To Stay Inside By The Fireplace!! Awesome Looking Cows!! 👍👊
Learning so much . Thank you for your enjoyable but hard work .
Just wanted to say that you are a gift to agriculture. Hope you never lose your enthusiasm or smile!!!
Hall
Hello hope you are doing great
It is so heart warming to see so many sights and activities that have extremely fond memories attached to them. I truly loved the farm/ranch.
Nice looking cows and heifers Laura
Thank you Grant for asking Laura to capture the four-wheel-drive snow footage.
Laura you are such an amazing person. The world needs so many more people like you❤
Funny as hell the cows following the tractor :)
Especially with it carrying a nice big fat bale of Timothy or Alfalfa hay!
EVERY young person (and some old ones, too!) should take notes on your enthusiasm, dedication, desire and energy! THANK YOU!!!!!
Instablaster...
Those are some healthy looking cows. Always something to do on a farm , winter or summer.
Roger
Hello hope you are doing great
I love how they use all their fords and leave the GMCs in the barn
Do not miss getting out in a blizzard to check cows.
I never saw a roundup with tractors before, it really works 😅 great video
Glad ro see you at O'Retiiy Auto Parts. I worrked for them for 17 years. In Des Moines, Iowa
Watching your energy and smile gives me hope for America! Thank God for you Laura!
Stay warm. 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Just a tad bit chilly for miss Laura....🐮🐮🐮
My family used to have cattle too, we lost our farm back in the mid-eighties. That was pretty cool moving them in the comfort of the heated cab of a big John Deere! Its definitely lots better than using a 4 wheeler out in that bitter cold. I've always been amazed at how all you have to do is get one cow, the boss cow, headed in the right direction and all the others will follow out of curiosity I guess. By the way, I'm 65 years of age and live in southwestern Missouri, 2 1/2 hours straight South of KC, Mo. I work part time for a farmer I've known all his life who farms around 1200 acres or so plus hay acres. I get to drive lots of great John Deere tractors helping planting and harvesting his crops and baling his own hay plus a lot of custom baling.
Farmers really never get a day off. Winter or not. Hard and often dangerous work.
I'm so grateful that you all do what you do and keep us all fed.
You have a wonderful family and Grant is a lucky man!
Our trick here to get cattle to move or come to you is to beat on a 5 gallon bucket. They usually associate that with feeding time and they will follow you around like the Pied Piper.
You have probably the highest level of excitement and enthusiasm in farming . keep up the great work . i see young people who get into farming yet i hear endless complaining about what they do.
Ripp
Hello hope you are doing great
Had a city girl here at the house once and she came running in screaming about someone hollerin for help, i ran out and it was a neighbor calling his cows LOL. Lovely hair!
Needed this positivity this morning. Thanks Laura
Cow brushes are moooofavvoooorite.
Beauty an a Blizzard!! Hi Laura
a child can run a Bobcat (or just about any skid-steer machine)... the joysticks each control one set of tires (or a track), the floor pedals work the loader's boom & bucket, auxiliary hydraulics, etc...
I LOVE YOU TOO Laura
Laura and Grant chasing cows in the snow. Baxter and Cooper on PlayStation 5 and sharing canine snacks.
Those cows are a captive audience.
We had cows that would go off the pasture, deep in the woods and brush to find a spot to have her calf..as farm kids it was our job to go find them..good times..

I'm glad you had fun chasing that last cow up, its always the last one that won't go thru the gate isn't it! Glad we moved our heifers home last week when it was 50 outside, yeah!
I take it you like your John Deere tractors. I learned how to drive one as an underage driver at the 4H for dad's farm bureau insurance in 1977. Weird transmission gear pattern, but it works and my great uncle liked it. He had a B from 1930 and he also bought a barn for $2000 with FDR's new deal with a 50 year loan-cool.
Nice 👍 ! I bet that silage smells so good ! I haven’t smelled that in a few years ! Lol ! Who would ever think it’s a smell you’ll miss someday !
I love the smell of tobacco hanging/curing in the barn! That's what I grew up with.
On my first day home from boot camp, January 28, 1973, I had to go help find mom and calf in snowy, rainy, super muddy weather. Not exactly my thoughts for what to do that day, but it's what it was. Got to carry a 90 pound calf a quarter mile. Thank God for boot camp 😊. Great video.
We need to see your best farmer wave
Laura , you and Grant make such a great couple. The energy you two have just lights up the screen when we watch you working on a project. Wishing you both many happy years ahead.
Cows love to rub against a brush. So many choices too. Happier cows.
I loved how Grant said “Thank you sir” at the drive in. Most young people I know don’t have those manners.
Just got into the house for lunch; and I am really enjoying myself watching your video. You are doing great taking us viewers through your winter. Had the same color tractors (started out red) and the same color cows ( except for that other color). From my Leeser days I am familiar with Runza's; and I was once stuck at Iam's for two days due to a blizzard. - Leeser driver and Missouri farmer, Doug.
Love how you took care of the cows! Well done.
❤
Thanks
Loved seeing the cattle drive in blizzard like conditions! Great video.
That hard work look good on you
Great show 🌄🌻🙂
Hi friends how a you today moon hope everything is fine but it very soon today miss you the hall days. thank you for your combie
We always had a tractor with a front-end loader available in case we had to move a new calf out of the pastures. That happened a few times. We also had one cow that was the leader and if she came to the barn, everyone came.
I laughed at your good hair day comment, just before that I was thinking, your hair looks amazing today.😀
You and Grant are awesome!!
This was fantastic,
NICELY DONE 🇺🇸🦅 LAURA 👍👍
Good job Yale did Good work saba
GOOD JOB LAURA 👍🇺🇸
What I see you and your family during,I admire everything you guys do it's not often that young ladies wanna do farm work I love it myself grandparents had a it but not anymore don't know why but all had said you guys are awesome God Bless
Herding cattle with tractors. The marvels of modern technology. They used to do it on horses. 😃
Tractors have been around for 100 years not exactly modern lol
Just thinking of how a good a herding dog would be in this situation. I wonder if dogs work in snow ?
@@timg6850 Is that a serious question?
@@Crashryding It is as I have just seen 4 people with two tractors and a Quad bike spending an hour trying to herd one Cow. A dog would of had no trouble doing that but I don't know if they could do it in the snow.
Real men still do it
Best hair days - cold and snowing = very low humidity = nice long hair. Looked like a lot of fun running around in the snow in the big tractors chasing the Mooooers! Running a baby bobcat is huge fun! Grant will love playing with it! It can get in places nothing else will. (Watch out for leaky hoses and cylinders though.)
Just got done feeding cows Sw of Lincoln was fun lol. We had 16+ inches of snow here. Hope we do now have more tonight.
Stay safe and warm
Havea nice day bay bay
runza is a Nebraska treat!
funny as hell at 1:42 with Grant and his truck and then really KOOL at 6:47 with the cows following the food. Great video,Stay Healthy and Warm
So sweet❤
You two make a good looking couple. Even with all the snow coming down you made a good video.
Lol. Grant. try your techniques in Iowa 😂 400 lbs of sand bags in the back helps. Can always cut one open to make even more traction. But being a flat lander..a tip
This brings back memories, I grew up chasing cattle thru the snow. Can't say I miss it. Now I'm headed for O'Reillys.
Roop
Hello hope you are doing great
Very interesting video about the cows thanks for your time and effort to do the video
I am jealous of your truck mixer, my mixer tows behind a tractor. One tractor to feed hay, another to load mixer and a third to tow mixer. It’s a lot of work for one person, plus many times in/out of a Fendt 718, 724 and 828. Your dad is lucky to have you and a son-in-law help.
I love you two great video thank you put a smile on my face all the time
Wow !!! You guys certainly have an amazing operation there, you seem to have everything ….. Laura is the most enthusiastic young lady I have ever seen on a farm ….. love watching what goes on ….. cheers from Australia ……
Good job.
A huge congratulations to your husband. If there was an Olympics of punching above your weight that boy would be taking home gold for sure!!!
Great video thanks
Beautiful
It’s always fun moving cattle, but there is always that one! I just had to chase that one down the other day and rope it and bring it back to the barn, thankfully it was only about 350 lbs!
Talking about scratching.....call you local city government that uses street sweepers with big brooms...like an Elgin street sweeper. Tell them you would like a used main broom off of one when they change it out. It has a hollow core and will set right over a fence post driven in the ground. Your cows will LOVE it!! I bet the public works will love to get rid of them!!
VERY SMART IDEA 😉👍💯 AGREE WITH YOU, ON THE TRACTOR 🚜
Hi, laura wilson dress warm. So you dont get sick....
Muy bonitos hojos Laura saludos
URGreat! All the best!
Saw you were at O'Reillys they carry 2 of my Favorite products. Try B-12 by Chemtool for keeping the inside of the engine and carbs very clean. Also use Prolong as an oil additive to make the engine run Smooth like a sewing machine. I have been using these products for over a decade on all of my cars, trucks, mowers etc over the years, and WOW the difference is amazing. Cheers
This used to be done on horseback. Now days as an author I even wrote a story to that effect.
Stay warm Laura and most importantly stay safe
VERY SMART MOVE 😂👍 GREAT IDEA , ALL FARMERS, SHOULD DO THE SAME
Nothing like moving equipment (bobcat) in a snow storm.
Loved your video! Cows...Gods greatest animal 😜 God Bless!
You warmed it up though!
I your diesels use Hawes fuel treatment. I have used it year round for years. It will quiet the injectors on start up. And will never have gell or water issues. It's a extra expense, but one that will pay back the first time yer sitting waiting for a thaw.
The cows chasing the grass was funny🙃
Great video!
you guys really a class act operation there very impressive !!!!!
Laura I am waiting on ONE LAST thing to arrive in the mail and I will be shipping your Missouri box ASAP! I have so many cool notes for you to read as well as some cool artifacts from right here on our farm that I know you're going to just LOVE! You smile is soooo infectious & your attitude is soooo bright & your hair is soooo beautiful! I want to spoil you every week with new surprises haha
Just moving around in that snow and cold......GREAT calorie burner! Good video. 👍
My mom used to work for Nestlé and they used to put other defects of chocolate into big semi trailers and farmers would buy them for several thousand dollars to feed their cows and fatten them up for market…lol
I love Runza!
Great video. Gave us a good insight to winter farming and ranching!. Thank you!
Just endlessly amount of really cool content
Wow!! That is the most beautiful cow's I have ever seen!! Awesome video!!
YOU LOVE ME SO SO MUCH Laura Froms
Nice update, You have more snow then we do here in NH. I think that storm is heading our way. Have fun. 👍
Love this watching your videos, keep up the solid work😁
