- ** The winter Blizzard of November 2020 that broke snow fall records in different areas of the province has finally made its way here!
** Mike came prepared by driving his tractor to Swift Current and helping anyone that he could find, and believe me, there was people everywhere to help! đ
** I personally haven't seen this much snow fall in one storm or in such a short time, in years or if ever!
** Mike decided to go through the Mc Donalds drive through with the Fendt 720 tractor for some fries đ€Ł, but since there was a BMW that kept getting stuck his fries got cold... Worst part of the evening đ€Łđ€Ł đ€Šđ

Mike you can keep that stuff. I come from family of blacksmiths,in winter at the track early morning when we had the coal forge lit, we would have 2 horses to shoe and 20 plus people packed in the workshop. We were more popular than mackers.
Thatâs super cool going around pulling people out, the wife and I have done that. Jump in the 4 WD with a tow strap and bottles of water and go look for people stuck in driftâs or whatever, great feeling. Honestly itâs exciting being out in it. Way to be brother đđșđž

Short days, cold weather, and snow make home a wonderful place. Something about knowing you can die right outside your door puts life and death in perspective. When the house is merely a shelter from rain and prying eyes the feeling of your home is your castle is lost. Rather than protect yourself from the weather, you tend to "protect" yourself from humans.
Meanwhile in Nova Scotia, it's 11*C and we still have residual leaves on the trees and the fall rye planted for cover could almost be cut its high enough.
Crazy mild fall in Quebec too. Last 5 years we've had snow on the ground from early November to late March (Québec City). It is suppose to be 13°C here Tuesday!
In Alaska we have a different interpretation of a "snow day". We break out the alternate transportation.
Love this video. I did the same thing a few years ago. The whole city was shut down and I was just driving around. It was a blast. I found one place open and got something to eat, cleared some snow and pulled a couple people out.

Note to the guy in the BMW, no need to gas it in reverse when a tractor is pulling you. I think the Fendt had it under control.

In Canada things are very expensive
wow... out here on sandyeggo (san diego EAST COUNTY) anyhow out here the cones went up to like 1.69 !!!! sigh but our weather is not as bad as that up there !!! ^^^^
I think that the cone would have fared better than Mikeâs fries did. We get snow like that, but only one or two a year. We are prepared for it so life goes on about as normal as when a rain storm hits.
You are not kidding we went to Niagra falls on the Canadian side. Went to Denny's, wife and I split omelet she ordered a Coke Zero, I had a cup of coffee. Bill came and it was $40.00. Most expensive Denny's meal I had ever eaten.
