- My starbucks cup goes with me EVERYWHERE. I struggle just a little bit with the decompression lever on my dirt bike, but had such a fun time riding this weekend. You guys get to meet my cows!! They are so precious. I got my mic in the mail. I think I need to make a few adjustments still, its not perfect. Power washing equipment and floors is such a satisfying job. I love to see farm stuff, education on the workings of equipment, planting etc. My favorite video, so far, is when you explained how the machine that drops the seeds in and how the dirt accidentally got in there. I love your channel. When us non-farmers go to the store, you don't realize all the hard work that made it possible. It has given me a renewed respect for farmers. You are awesome. Thank You.

My late great uncle used to check the dairy cows on his Honda dirt bike! He ranched up in North Central Nebraska near Emmet. That was a long time ago! The more things change, the more they stay the same!

Laura, your videos are excellent. They bring back a lot of memories. I farmed with my grandfather and father while growing up; until I graduated from college. Great family bonding and love. Farming is now high tech compared to when I left the farm. However, one area hasn't changed - we constantly repaired equipment. I hope you show the large grain harvesters later on. Operating it was my favorite job.

My first motorcycle was a 1979 Yamaha 650 Special with leaky diaphragms in the fuel petcocks. A real pain in the bottom!

Do you even realize how beautiful the cow pasture is? That 360 view to the horizon is amazing for those of us having houses block our views 200 feet in every direction. I'd kill to retire to a home built with that view. How much for an acre to live amongst your cows?

when I was 11 years old I lived on a farm in Fredericksburg Virginia and there was a local young gal about 17 that used to show up on our property with a dirt bike and ride around and she was really pretty and I loved dirt bikes and I tell you what, for the two years I lived on that farm I was in love with that girl.....reminds me of Laura :)

Or a worn out needle seat. Will get a grove in in not allowing it to seat properly. Pretty common.

It's an M35 deuce and a half. They were made by several different manufacturers. That one looks to be a later model and was probably made by AM General (the humvee people)

Hi , nice vids, hey the carb isnt supposed to leak , probably stuck flost bowl, it could catch fire , its probably a easy fix.
Another good job Laura. Need a little info for us on the big truck. 6 wheel drive, size of Diesel engine, and year, etc. Love how you handled it.
A little tip for your power washing thing. Start always on top of a vehicle and get then to the bottom otherwise when you get to the top your cleaned bottom gets dirty again. Saves times and muscle power.
The sound is very much improved I subscribed right when you started, and it was kind of annoying at first with the wind but this sounds great now

your carb needs cleaning, the float is sticking open, thats why it leaks gas
The float needle is probably worn out, needs to be replaced.
Could also be the o-ring on the needle valve seat
@@gavinbarham542 good call, most Yamahas you can actually remove the seat as well and replace the o ring.
@@Zach-ju5vi if it sits through winter with gas in it then its definitely the o-ring

On a more serious note, a friend of mine raises a few beef cattle and has a steer I want to buy half of but all the processing shops are booked through September. Are you seeing the beef processing issues we are seeing in Texas? There is nothing like private stock grass fed beef that has not been on a feed lot.
