Hey Jim, my like was the 301. Never saw this video until now. Thanks for.share.
Very nice humidor. I recognized those Perdomo's before i even clicked on the video.
Great job !!! This came out amazing thank you for all the tips! Can’t wait to construct one
Thanks. Its wild to think this was four years ago... beware, if you build one, you will fill it!
Here I am trying to find & buy a cigar cabinet to spoil myself and you have a whole WALK IN!! That’s awesome!! It looks amazing, definitely going to build one when I have the space!!
Thanks Arthur.
I really like your humidor. That marble floor is dope. This video is giving all sorts of ideas.
Looks amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Looks great! Awesome job.
Thank you!
WOW!! Just Amazing
Incredible!1 Totally Amazing!
Thanks!
Awesome. Could I ask where you sourced the red cedar? Specifically what you used on the walls.
Nice this is great inspirational
Thanks! I really love it.
Where did u get the angle hooks for the shelf?
Beautiful work. Are the walls Spanish cedar plywood? Where did you order the all that Spanish cedar from? Thanks for sharing
Where did you buy the cedar planks
How stable does it hold the temperature and humidity?
Great. The humidifier kicks on when needed. It is typically a couple degrees cooler than the lounge itself.
Bro Kirby Allison commented on your video, thats dope.
Brother, this is incredible. Going to build one walk-in at my place soon, one question: How is that humidifier working out for you? After some time, have you find the humidity to be pretty much around your desired values, or have you found sometimes it's too high or has gotten a bit of condensation on the surfaces near the humidity hose? Would love your feedback on these, as I am planning which unit should I look for. Thanks!
Thanks. Overall its been good. When we lost power for a couple days this winter I did get condensation on the floor. It is a concrete slab so it took about a week for everything to warm back up and it went away. I just mopped it with a towel. So only in extreme temperature changes has it ever been an issue.
Where did you get your humidifier from and what’s the name of it please? Love your video
Hi, please what kind of wood material are you using? Thanks for your answer. LJ
Great space. What are your thoughts on door seal? For a room with a frameless glass door, there will be a small gap around the door (ie: no complete seal). Humidor rooms do need periodic exchange of fresh air, so could a frameless glass door be a good thing? Or do you think a proper sealed door is better?
Well I only have experience with my set up which uses the sealed door. My concern was that I didn't want too much humidity escaping, or the humidifier running non-stop to keep up. I do have one vent for the room with no return so it maintains positive air pressure. My thoughts are that the air exchanges occur every time I get a new cigar, which is probably 5 or 6 times daily minimum, lol. I've had it operating this way for over a year and its been fantastic. I'm not saying an unsealed door won't work, I just don't have experience with that. The ones at my brick and mortars all have pretty tight seals as well so that's how I went.
Where can I buy the cedar plywood
Very impressive and beautiful. Did you use Spanish cedar or American cedar? Where did you purchase your cedar?
Thank you! I used Spanish Cedar I sourced from woodprojections.com
Where did you find all the beautiful Spanish cedar
How much it costs?
Looks amazing!! Can you please tell me where you bought the shelving angled brackets.
I bought them from the same place I sourced the wood. woodprojections.com
Are you inhaling?!
That's what I was thinking.
Great! How was the cedar attached to the green board? Adhesive or screws?
Stainless steel nails. Shelves used stainless screws
@@psykoholic thank you!
Great work you did. Where did you get your humidifier from?
My local B&M owner gave me the rep's contact info, so I bought it from the company rep.
Please, Sir. Who is the rep?
Approximately what was your total cost?
How do you use tap water in the humidifier?
Have any recommendations for temperature control? Mine is above my garage in the man cave. I don’t plan keeping at 70 degrees all the time. Too big of a room for that. I want to do a walk in humidor but not sure how to keep at the temp.
I have a reverse osmosis system (filtered water) that feeds the humidifier so I don't use straight tap water. I personally wouldn't make a walk in or have any humidor that isn't temp controlled. Even a desktop sitting in a temp controlled room would be better than cigars getting too out of temp/humidity. I'm in Texas so it would be a nightmare.
@@psykoholic I was thinking of putting a mini split in the room. Thoughts?
What kind of plywood is that on the walls? Cedar? Luan?
Walls and ceiling are 1/4" Spanish cedar. Shelves are 3/4" Spanish cedar.
@@psykoholic Where can I find Spanish Cedar? Is that special order:? I have gotten all of my other supplies via Home Depot. Thanks for the reply
@@jamesrounds1409 As I mentioned below I sourced mine from woodprojections.com Good luck on your project!
