I changed my diet on Feb 25th. I am on SNAP so I can't afford steaks etc, but I MAINLY eat bacon and eggs. In 89 days I lowered my A1C from 9.9 to 5.3! Triglycerides were 274 and are now 99. My stage 3 Kidney Disease is now "mild" my Dr said. (He's VERY PROUD of me!) And I've lost 25 lbs!! I'm SO HAPPY I found out about a "proper Human Diet"! ❤❤❤❤ Oh! I forgot to add, my HAIR is growing back in and my MUSCLES are increasing! (I'll be 62 next month)

Lost 75 lbs on keto by eating a lot of hotdogs, hotlinks, polish sausage, etc. I went with the ones with only 1 gram carbs per weiner instead of 2 grams like most. (Most all have sugar added). Their are some grass fed beef ones at Costco that are good. I sometimes put a dab of Head Country sugar free barbeque sauce on my plate and dip my dogs. There are so many ways you can do keto and be fully satisfied without hunger and without going broke. Eating steak is still cheaper than alcohol , cigarettes, and paying for medical care. I have the same story as a lot of your viewers, reversed type 2 diabetes with only the elevated LDL your doctor tries to give you the statins for. Wife suffered for years counting calories and restricting foods to maintain her figure, which led to fatigue and frustration because she was undernourished. For the first time in years she stopped counting calories on her phone app....that's huge. Now we eat well every day, no cravings, enough energy to work out every day and we look as though we are reverse ageing. We save money because we never throw out those rotten vegetables in our fridge, as we did not buy them in the first place. One factor that probably negates any downside in processed meats is that their "cheapness" means they include gristle, organ meats, and fats that aren't in regular muscle meat. This moves you closer to the ideal of eating the whole animal, which is better nutrition than just eating lean muscle meat. BTW, I once knew an African man who said his people still ate the whole chicken, including the gristle and cracking the cooked bones for the marrow. This too is better nutrition that we no longer do.

Carnivore is actually not all that expensive when you put it into perspective. Like, us carns only have to eat once a day, vs the normies having to eat two or three times a day, and up to five or six for the stupid vegans! So, how much are you saving by NOT buying all those side dishes, the breakfast cerals, etc etc? And then, of course, there's the lack of medical bills or - if you're in socialist/communist Canada (where I am), the days off work waiting hours at the doctor's office or emerg (currently 17 hours' wait) when your health decides to take a tumble?
Also, if you have the space and the means to slaughter and process, I highly recommend pigs or sheep! Both are easy keepers, but a sheep can replace your lawnmower and grow into food while saving you on gas, whereas pigs are better suited to woods/brushy environments.

We make all our own bacon, Canadian bacon, sausage, salami, copa, lonzino etc, etc. We control everything that goes in it. Having said that I still eat commercially produced similar products. Also for those that don’t know, for many of these products don’t worry when you see dextrose in the ingredients. That was added to feed the bacterial culture that was used in the fermentation process. It has been consumed by bacteria long before you eat it.

Once I was married and had a stable schedule and quit buying any form of processed food It is rare that I get a case of gout! The only processed food we eat are the ones we make at home. We make our own Bacon, Corned Beef, All types of sausage, Pulled pork, Brisket you name it. From the garden we make our own Pickles, Tomato sauce, Sauerkraut, and can may other things. My thought was you know my grand parents never suffered from this shit so why do I? My conclusion was because they raised their own food! They did not live a life of convenience. So I went back to the old way's of doing things and it worked great for us! Anybody out there can afford pork but at 87 cents a pound when it is on sale stock up on it. There is so many things you can make out of it! To get good cuts of meat that are inexpensive buy a chuck roll! You can get a couple rib eyes out of it and many other very good cuts that if it was broken down would cost a fortune. Be independent! Do not rely on anybody other than you! A package of (cheap) hotdogs was 2 meals. I don't remember everything else I bought with that $7, but I know there wasn't a lot of meat.

He gave no sympathy to anyone who couldn't afford it. In spite of his attitude I still switched to butter, just the cheaper store brand. And my meats? Well I have my own steer in the freezer right now, but before he went to "freezer camp" I was buying mostly reduced meats. And I still do, got over $50 worth today. Well...
I've been on the carnivore diet, since last summer, and have unintentionally lost forty pounds. Plus, my BP & A1C have normalized. Although, I was stretching my budget. for several months. Because I was buying and eating grass-fed meat, eggs & butter. Although, I, most definitely, am not well-off enough, to afford weekly purchases of grass-fed cow meat, eggs, etc. Consequently, per, this video, it's sufficient if I buy and eat cheap meat that's low in carbs, each week. If so, that's awesome and alleviates the pressure, to live beyond my means, just to maintain optimal health. Consequently, this information from Dr. Berry, is like, a breath of fresh air!!💯

Now, I'm not normal having had a gastric by-pass about 15 years ago (yes more healthy on Carnivore rather than the by-pass) but because i eat less because of it, I also eat less with Carnivore due to eating more healthy thus don't need to fill up on garbage that actually makes me hungrier.
