Our current favorite pizza - a Tasty Thursday post

Pizza toppings are highly personal. There are the traditional and the standard. And then there are the ones that leave you wondering how anyone ever thought of it. They sound weird. Terrible, even. So weird you try it. And are BLOWN AWAY. That is how this one was. The secret? A poached egg. Try it. I promise you'll be amazed. (Remember the story is always on Patreon or the blog!)

Our Current Favorite Pizza
dough (homemade or bought ball of dough)
white sauce
cheddar cheese (and some fresh mozzarella)
roasted tomatoes
bacon
scallions
poached egg!
1. Roll your crust thin
2. Top with all except the scallions and the poached egg
3. Bake the pizza; while it's baking, poach the egg
4. Top the fresh, hot, delicious pizza with scallions and poached egg
5. Slice into it so the yolk runs into the other parts of the pizza . . . swoon
Also excellent with jalapeño peppers or banana peppers. And a sprinkling of fresh basil or even cilantro.
