Lemon Whippersnappers - a Tasty Thursday video

Lemon whippersnappers have been a favorite of mine since my grandmother used to make them for me years ago. 3 ingredients to deliciousness - and with family memory and lore to boot. Simple, fast, and truly awesome! Enjoy meeting my Mom and her sisters as they share a recipe my grandmother used to make for me - who knew lemon cake mix and cool whip would create such fabulous cookies!

Lemon Whippersnappers
1 box lemon cake mix
1 egg
8 oz (1/2 container) Cool Whip
powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350, and grease a cookie sheet
1. Mix cake mix, egg, and cool whip together in a bowl.
2. Form into small balls, then roll balls in the powdered sugar.
3. Place on the cookie sheet.
4. Dip a fork in the powdered sugar and press into the balls of dough, forming a hatch pattern.
5. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes, or until just starting to brown on top. Don't overbake!
Eat. Mmmmmm.
