So what happened was...I accidently deleted the original video because I obviously don't know how to use CZcams lmao. So I trimmed the intro and uploaded it again cos I did actually like this video. I'm sorry I lost all your comments though! Next reaction will be Somebody to love live! Don't worry I remembered you all asked for it.
Yay! 😁👌🏻
Queen who? Keep the COMORAH ON HER. She's sweet with her reactions.
There were like 73,000+ people there.... I love this concert.... I just missed his magic he passed away the same year I was born. RIP FREDDIE MERCURY!
hello doe darling my name is chloe richardson and i just want to say that i love your videos they are soo much fun to watch i love freddie mercury his voice makes me emotional he was iconic legendery energetic and creative may he rest in peace
I was there working security and let me tell you,it was absolutely amazing and Freddie stole the show as usual.
All the security guys working inside Wembley were dancing and joining in including me.
Brilliant day.
wow! what an awesome experience!
@@DoeDarling im security aswell and how i envy you mate for being there to experience that.
I wish i could see this in live
holy shit...do you want to sell your security pass?
Thats amazing
When singing Bohemian Rhapsody, Freddie blows a kiss to his mom who always said that this song always made her sad. 72,000 people in this crowd but a billion people worldwide watched this on TV. They say about 40% of the world watched this concert.
The greatest frontman in the history of the music industry. Freddie made billions eat out of his hand. He was a gem that I will cry for every time I hear his mates talk about him. He was a great man, the greatest frontman to ever pick up a microphone stand.
Bearing in mind, it was not a Queen concert Freddie had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand. Everybody knew their songs and got involved. Can anybody name me another front man that can do that?
Freddie played the piano, sometimes he played the guitar, but mostly he played the audience.
And was damn good at it!
he ALWAYS played the audience.
The best thing about this performance, is that Freddie was actually off in the beginning, and it's almost impossible to tell. But, he cuts a lot of notes short, especially high notes. Then, before Hammer to Fall, he does a vocal exercise -- which he turns into audience participation and quite possibly the signature bit of the whole thing. After that, he's almost spot on with everything except one high note in Hammer to Fall which he bails out of. It's just all around amazing that this is him on "not his best day" and it's so much better than anyone else would be AT their best.
Wasn't he still recovering from some sickness that had affected his voice, and even his doctor had advised him against performing at all?!
It's so great seeing so many young people enjoying Queen the way us oldies did back in the day. Long live the Queen music.
When Rami Malek did Bohemian Rhapsody they got him a dance instructor but Rami said Freddie Mercury doesn't dance when he performs he just moves and responds to the music. So he asked for a movement coach instead. Very smart move
Malak I feel BECAME Freedie fully in the Live Aid scene
from his Mannerisms on stage to how he moved to his lip work right down to him playing up the live broadcast camera on stage
I seriously lost count of how many times I watched Live Aid😂
I think Freddie is one of the few people in the industry with the x factor he was an all round performer and the audience loved him, and with the rest of the band included I think it made them one of the greatest bands ever.
It's not fair that the world lost this incredible human being. The girl he actually was in love with I think they married but when he came out to her she never told anyone she supported him always and loved her with everything he had. The loyalty was important to him. She still lives in the house he bought her and was in his will to forever take care of her. He was a special human. Very missed. My brother Bobby loved Queen and my brother was killed in a car train accident 22 yrs ago so Queen and Freddie Mercury will always be special to me. I hope my brother found him in heaven and hugged him. RIP FREDDIE
If you ever feel disappointed
Remember
Someone had to perform after this..
R EMPIRE After queen exited the stage
Elton john told them “You bastards! you stole the show how am i suppose to perform after that “
It was David Bowie, he did ok :)
@@sarahfox3959 david bowie i thinks went before this performance and it was status quo who followed i think
@@andyphillips2093 U2 and I think Duran Duran in Wembley not sure you was up beforre in Philadelphia since they showed both shows back and forth between each set in both stadiums and on radio and TV but I do know Zepplin hated having to follow this up in Philly and Elton John was over joyed by this performance and was said to back stage telling Bowie and the rest in Wembley coming up after to get on thier A Games Bowie was even enjoying the show Freedie was putting on hell the Stones came well after him in Philly and no one notes their performance ( and this a 30+ year younger Mick Jager we are talking about)
@@andyphillips2093 to me it was almost criminal that Bowie did not perform Under Pressure with them.
I was one of the Lucky people who was there that day.it changed me from just liking Queen to becoming a real Fan,i also went to Wembley in 86.The reason they came back in the evening was that every artist had a timeslot of about 20 minutes in the day and a few minutes in the evening.it closed the event.Queen was amazing that day even the other artists agree on that.and the song is this the world we created was not made for live aid,but was from the album the works.
God bless you, you lucky One!
Freddie had nodes on his vocal cords which he suffered from at times and had them here. He had a massive argument with his boyfriend the night before and blew his voice..... He was told by a doctor not to sing here at a risk of damaging his voice permanently ! Also I believe the band on his arm was worn to cover a bite mark from the argument the night before. The back story to the performance is pretty unreal, as was the performance
The song was already written. I think God knew they were going to they perform. The song is beautiful.
Freddie's fav instrument was always the Audience, darling
That song was originally on their 'Works' album.
The definition of showman. A true entertainer. Even kids of today are listening and liking queen's songs.
Freddie can control a crowd of any size. In Rio I think there was 280,000 people at 1 concert. React to Don’t stop me now. What I love about Freddie is that he always includes the band, doesn’t make himself the center of attention. It is hard for women to not notice how good he fills his jeans 😲. Freddie looks sexy in anything. I always start dancing in my living room when I am playing their songs. Queen is one of the greatest bands of all time, you should watch a few documentaries on them.
Darci Savelli yes, & in Rio and Japan they couldn’t even speak the language but they loved Queen’s music
@@montereyharris1277 and they sang back to Freddie in perfect english
@Darci Savelli Rock in Rio '85 was more like 350,000
"Freddie looks sexy in anything."
Even those ridiculous little white shorts he wore for part of the '81 Montreal concert?? lol
Vegan I was very lucky to be there that day,it's something that will live in my heart forever.💟
Damn, how dit it felt? 😲
I remember it well.. really hot too!! 😂 An emotional rollercoaster of a day.. 💖
How beautiful was freddie???I love him from 1985!!You are wonderful and smart....because you love it!!!Kisses from Italy!!!
The last song "Is this the world that we created" was written by Queen & appeared on their Works Album.
Mmm...Freddie, most gorgeous and talented man ever! 💕
And all this with a bad throat infection..... Freddie's doctor advised him not to perform that day.
Apparently it was actually the early signs of his HIV🤔
@@samuel10125 No it was actually laryngitis
@@samuel10125 he died from pneumonia brought on by AIDS
blown out of proportions situation...
@@roverwaters3875: Oh were you there?
Freddy was a true performer. He put his heart and soul into everything he did and it shows.
I too was there, the most memorable moment in our history, best day of my life
Queen was the only act who understood what the organizer envisioned for this unique event: a live global juke box. Queen understood that they had only twenty minutes to entertain the audience with a showcase of their most popular works and spent the week prior to the event rehearsing and refining the set. Everyone else treated it as a jam session.
To really understand why this is the greatest performance in rock history, I suggest watching the two part documentary on the Live Aid event titled "Against All Odds." They cover Queen's performance and its impact on the Live Aid concert in the second part.

Nothing but goose bumps throughout this entire video. There will never be another like Freddie Mercury...EVER. Also, loved your reaction at 14:08 "that means all of you"
New subscriber as of now.
There is a concert from around 1979ish where Freddies voice had literally gone. The band played their skin out and backed up Freddies vocals brilliantly...... pretty amazing. There is also a concert where he fell off stage and ruptured the ligament in his knee and had to be carried to the piano, he did a couple of songs but the pain was so great they had to end the show
I get emotional everytime at the end of his performance on the piano. I cry everytime.
When this song was written and recorded all the critics said no radio will play a song that long. It will only be heard on the album that people buy. Boy did Queen prove them all wrong. Bohemian Rhapsody was and still a huge hit for them
Every time he performed he had the crowd in his pocket. So much stage presence and an incredible voice. Such a legend !!
Ciao beautifull girl....look well that man ...couse you dont see another like him...!! Nevermore....!! Freddie was the great rock singer and musician of the rock ...and music history...!!
Is This The World We Created was originally the final track on their album The Works. Heart-rending stuff....and, as it happened, one of the most perfectly appropriate songs to help close out a concert like Live Aid.
27 people were jealous they couldn't fill out their jeans as well as Freddy 😂
Oooooo! Lol SAVAGE! I LOVE IT! ;,D
Who CAN, lol?
I love how you went from thinking you hated Queen to discovering that you actually love them and are now ALL IN! And you can't trust someone who doesn't love John Deacon. I suggest you start at the beginning with their self-titled first album on through to Made in Heaven. My favorite song off Queen I is Seven Seas of Rhye, but then there's Keep Yourself Alive, Great King Rat, Liar, Son and Daughter. *sigh* You have so much great music in front of you.
And now I want to watch the movie for the 10th time. The last song was absolutely perfect for Live Aid. It's the last song on The Works album for which they had just finished touring, so not written for Live Aid, but perfect, nonetheless. It makes me cry always.
i have that album in your profile picture signed by Peter Hook of Joy Division!
I watched it live when it was on. Absolutely amazing.
RIP Freddie Mercury: a one-of-a-kind entertainer.
All this well deserved praise for Freddie - this is Queen with 4 band members and they all deserve admiration. They fit so well together which is what made Queen.
I watched it live on television (I was 14 years old at the time). Although I had a blast watching all of the acts and hearing the music I didn't understand just what a huge cultural moment it was.
Watching Queen in LiveAid always makes me emotional, mostly of joy
Freddie had a throat infection he went against Dr's orders to be there he said his throat felt like he was gargling with crushed glass while singing and he still crushed it they are epic I cry every time I hear him sing
this is the best live rock concert in history. Seen by 1.4 billion worldwide. Live Aid was full of top groups who gave their time to raise money to help the starving in an African famine. I watched it on TV.
Inception! I enjoyed watching how much you loved their performance. Such an amazing concert...imagine being there live!
I remember it as it was july 13 1985. I was there and I heard queen for the last time. I cried at the end of the song we are the champions and the whole thing. I wish this man was still alive making music with Roger Taylor, Brian May, and John Deacon/QUEEN. Thank you for uploading this video to CZcams."FREDDIE THE ICONIC LEGEND, AND JUST THE BEST SINGER THE WORLD EVER HEARD" We all love you and hope you were still on earth. "WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER" 😢😢😢😭😭😭
think about this, 60k at Wembley, 100k at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia and countless millions all over the place listening to this on the radio and watching on MTV and other stations covering it fully under Freddies spell for 22 mins singing along with every word
Hammer to fall is so damn good I can listen to it every day and never get bored
Nobody struts the stage like Freddie did I can see that you are truly enthusiastic about Freddie and Queen that's nice to see. I saw them in concert in 1978 it was amazing
Please react to “White Queen”, Live at the Hammersmith Odeon, 1975. So beautiful!
hello I like this song I think
we should meet
n
I was at the LIve Aid gig. I will never forget this for as long as I live. What an experience
What makes Live Aid more special , is that Freddie’s Doctor told him to pull out as he was suffering from bad vocal nodes due to coming off the long Works Tour. Yet he still stole the show
The final song (Is this the world that we created) was already in their back catalogue of songs, but they played it because the words were appropriate to live aid.
Freddie had perfect posture and would strut like a peacock Beloved Freddie
The biopic is the reason I got to experience the story of Freddie Mercury and Queen's journey to start from one of the most iconic performances of all time.
I watched on TV. Queen where not announced with the main line up they signed up late. This meant they where not playing in front of a Queen crowd or with their normal stage setup. Yet they still went on to be bloody brilliant and steal the show.
Freddie mercury was and still is the best music entertainer of all time every stage he used he owned every crowd who saw queen live were owned by freddie for the entire gig . Live aid freddie owned the entire show in just 35 mins again he also owned the crowds the world over from england to New York to japan and back again . I became a queen fan back in 1986 after hearing queen live at wembley for the first time ever now I own nearly everything they produced as a group and will treasure them forever . Love you freddie my darling loved you then love you still now queens song lyrics were so easy to learn off by heart which made listening to queen such a heart warming moment every time you play there albums or CDs best man that ever lived . Xx
I was eight and remember this day! We BBQ and the TV was brought outside during the day. The neighbors had speakers on there’s! Haha! I had older teen sisters and it was the biggest event on the planet! Every radio and TV were set for this event! I was a small kid but I remember singing to Radio GaGa with my mom and sisters! Queen is my mother’s favorite rock band so it was the set the whole house was waiting for. I remember my moms lecture about shutting the hell up or go play away from the house but she was NOT going to miss QUEEN! She always wanted to go to a concert but family life took over. This was the closest to her and boy the look in her eyes! Thing was, when the time came we were all completely hypnotized! Singing, dancing, clapping and laughing! One of the best memories of my life really. I didn’t really know the impact of that performance at the time. I just remember the utter joy Queen give us that day!
Last song: London encore set before permanent switch to Philadelphia Concert to end Live Aid. The song was a quick write from Freddie and Brian for the Works album about the famine well before Live Aid Project.
There were sooooo many performances! I remember a print out from the newspaper with so many circled artist the house wanted to catch. We taped it on the wall NOT to be removed! With 5 kids understandable.
I remember Madonna, U2, Duran Duran, Bowie and Elton John(mom another leisure artist) but most were through pasting by. Only Queen captured me that day completely! Fan for life!
Remember back then us kids still mostly played outside. Rule was return before dark. But I do remember Live Aid on radios throughout the neighborhood. It was still a radio dominated world then. I miss those record player days.
Thank you so much for sharing your memories of the day, that was so wonderful to read! 💚 Made me feel very warm and nostalgic, great to have such memories
now everyone remember that Freddie was suffering from a severe throat infection at the time and was still able to deliver such an amazing performance to that i tip my hat
You may never read this comment, but sweetheart you are a woman after my own heart when it comes to Music. Freddie Mercury was a man without equal when it came to performances... He was a Showman, he wanted to put on a show for everyone, and it is unfortunate that the man was taken from us in his prime.... I reckon if he was alive today, Queen would still be touring and he'd still put on brilliant shows. Also, seeing you reactions to this was just amazing, you really do have an Angelic face when it comes to this song. So thank you beautiful for doing a reaction to this song.... And thank you for being you xxx
That Radio gaga performance was out of this world 🌍!
That pillow is so beautiful 😍❤ I want to break free ❤❤😍😍
72,0000 people at Wembley, another 100,000 in Philadelphia, and 1,2 billion watching on TV globally.
The Olympics have 3 satellites...Live Aid had 13. The world for Africa! 👏👏
I remember it was very hot that day in Wembley Stadium July 13th 1985 but it was worth it, best day in my life! 🇳🇱
This concert was wonderful , one of the greatest rock concert of the world was by queen
Doe your enthusiasm is contagious. I look forward to more of your reaction videos.
The Long Lasting Ever Music ‘QUEEN’
KING OF ROCK And THE KING OF POP ‘MICHAEL JACKSON’ ... No One can ever beat the LEGEND like them in this century❤️
Still will be the NO1 Music OF All TIME🥰 ...
REST IN PEACE ANGELS ❤️
Amazing video, he was a fantastic artist. He had an amazing voice very emotive doe. Loved this. Can't wait for more 😊🤗
Thank you 💚
Looked like he had a Mattesson's down his trousers. 😂
The best band, playing the best music, to the biggest audience. And at the centre of it, the best singer and performer who ever lived.
Officially there were 72,000 in the stadium, unofficially its believed to be closer to 95-100,000 (packed to the rafters) - plus another billion watching on TV.
I was 11 when we lost Freddie, it still breaks my heart when i think about it!
Same here. I was 8 when they were in Budapest. Obviously I was not there but seen the movie made of it and I decided I will go and see them one day.
Than he died and although Queen was is Budapest a few times I just cannot go. Without Freddie and Deaky I just do not want to. ☹️
Hi Doe, ANOTHER BRILLIANT reaction TO LIVE Aid. It was a concert for the starving people in Africa, THAT'S why Freddy and Brian came back on stage @ 9.58 pm to sing, The World He Created. LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE REACTIONS. Paul
impressive and superb Queen's / Freddie's performance, beautiful Doe and emotional her reaction! I like it! :)
He was quite athletic as a mid. He boxed, sprinter & played hockey . Later, he worked out a lot to stay fit
I have loved Freddie Mercury since 1973 ! ❤️ I am so glad I found you on CZcams, I love your obsession with the greatest frontman and singer ever ! Queen is the best ! Thank you for your reviews . I think I have watched Live Aid thousands of times since 1985 , your review of it is one of the best ! 😊😊
HELLO Doe, I was WATCHING your reaction to LIVE Aid again. BRILLIANT BY THE WAY. In answer to your question, how many people where at Live Aid there was 79,000 as far as I can remember and millions all over the world too. KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL REACTIONS and I'm looking forward to MORE NEXT REACTION. 🤗 . Paul
So I am a bit older than you - I was a kid when Queen first blew up and I grew up listening to them. They (Freddie in particular) meant a lot to me and it is a joy to see then next generation find as much enjoyment from them as we had when the music was new.
Freddie was so good even the girl(re-actor) is ae-ohy-ing along.... 😍😍😍
Probably the greatest of all time!
I love your pillow or whatever it is in the background on the chair! Lol Awesome!!!
Greatest live performance in history. So much talent in 4 people it's unreal. The greatest band of all time. It's like if the Beatles actually had talent.
Great reaction video keep it up. That was an iconic few minutes at Live Aid! Cheers for the video!
Omg you're so cute reacting to it. I love to see your look of admiration following every move of Freddie
At the time of Live Aid I was serving in the British Royal Marine's in a refugee camp in Ethiopia. We listened to it on the radio. We were surrounded be the horror of the Famine, but when Queen came on the radio those poor soles who were there even reacted in a very positive way. I remember that a lot of us RMC's were crying watching some of the children dancing along, I'm teary eyed just remembering. I looked around at men I had fought alongside, who were tough, hardened Marine Commando's who had fought a life and death war against Argentinian's in 82. By the end of Queen's set we were dancing with the children. It went along way to help build their trust in us. The famine is one of the two worst memories I have.
At the end of live aid when it finished Freddie and Brian came on to sing. Is this all we created
They had that crowd of 72,000 people having a great time.
"old fashion cameras" the pain I felt
I guess now is as good of a time to fully experience the true magnitude of Freddie Mercury at his best. Hope you have uploaded a mint copy Doe.
I love seeing youngsters discover Queen
Please more reactions to Queen ♥
The song 'Is This the World We Created', is a Queen song, written by Freddie and Brian May, for the 1984 album The Works. The last part of Live Aid they did, was several hours after their twenty minute slot, that you saw at the start of the video. They were asked to sing their song from the The Works album. for its poignant connection to the famine crisis in Ethiopia.
Lmao he does fill those jeans out real well!!! How could any of us not notice 👀😂
I loved the way you screamed when you first saw Freddie
You have a beautiful voice, i loved you singing with Freddie!
Thanks for the video!
Great reaction...and yes I subscribed👍
Cant wait for somebody to love live at montreal. Its one of my many queen classic fave.:)
My dad attended Live Aid in 85 with his brother , and he remembers seeing Princess Diana arriving with Prince Charles , watching Bowie and said it was euphoric he also pointed out that due to the high temperature the security were throwing water over the crowd to cool them down
Fabulous performance from Queen (music royalty).
Don't apologise for singing along, we all are (well, I am anyway). Absolutely love Queen, and the Beatles.
Wanna know how good Queen were? I am watching this with a beautiful girl sitting there and I probably glimpsed at her a dozen times. Now that's remarkable !
I cried watching this... Freddie would have loved this day and age.im only 13 but miss him and queen.music isn't like this anymore😢
I got distracted by the break free pillow/cushion at the back of Freddie in the wig and mustache 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The last song - ''Is this the world we created'' was the last track of the album - ''The Works''
Haha, loved that DD.........I don't know how to say this but I will.....Haha. "Is This The World we Created" was written long before Live Aid but the band thought it appropriate to have in the show............It was performed in recognision of the famine around the world.........Queen stole the show.
The best front man ever for any band. He connected with his audience and loved every minute of it. RADIO GAGA IS THE SHIT. LADY GAGA GOT HER NAME FROM IT.
