I recommend a singer called Diana Navarro. With the song "El perdón" she is very versatile and sings different styles of music with incredible melismas. And with a very personal voice.

I saw them the night after this show in Toronto at the CNE stadium. I've seen lord knows how many bands, played in bands, worked in clubs and in all these years I have never seen anyone that was in Freddie's league. I feel blessed to have caught them live. So glad that young people are enjoying their brilliance. Freddie grabbed your heart and soul when he was on stage.

There is something special about Freddie, i never saw him live, i was not even born when he had his great time but i am overwhelmed with sadness if i think about the way he died and i just feel blessed an happy seeing him perform on stage, having the crowd in his pocket. By the way, he had a good opera voice to, you have to

Yes Freddie was crying 😔, I think he was looking for love his whole life . But it is uplifting too ! I have been watching and listening to Queen since 1973. They are the best band ever ! In an interview in the 70’s Freddie said he liked Somebody to Love lyrics better than bohemian rhapsody. I had heard it was his favorite song . I love your reviews of Queen ! They are amazing 😊 could you review Dragon Attack from Montreal 1981 ? It’s simply wonderful also 😊😊

Freddie never gave a bad performance. I think he gave everything he had at every concert. He even spoke about it once and said that touring on the road wore him out because of the emotion and the moving around that he did. Can you imagine doing that every night for a couple of hours or more for 6 or 7 months at a time? There will never be another performer like him, but the band was pretty terrific too. They backed him up to the max.

Well imagine how Axl Rose felt from March 1991 - July 1993 on GNR's Use Your Illusion Tour. 28 months as it was the biggest tour by any band at that point in time but they have topped it since after reuniting for the Not In This Lifetime Tour that started in 2016 and still going.

I love the perspective you put on it, since I'm a lead singer, but also fill the role of an instrumentalist often. I like that you point out everything that's going on, and don't just focus on Freddy. Although, obviously Freddy's awesome. A band is not a band without the "band", and Queen is one amazing band.

(I'm a straight woman, but if I was gay, I'm confident I'd STILL be just as in love with him as I already am, heeheehee). (Also, while we're doing confessions, I find myself weirdly more attracted to Roger in drag as "Rogerina" in "I Want To Break Free," than I am to him as just normal "Roger," so......LOL, don't know what that says about me, either). ;D

Thank you for your reaction. I suggest that you try to visit the 2 old queens in Melbourne - they will appear if you search here on CZcams : Adam Lambert somebody to love Melbourne. They are totally different, playful , having fun, teasing the crowd - - .It is funny to see Brian and Roger in this way - and incredible to listen to Adam. If you really will be blown away you should also find "Who wants to live forever" - Adam and Queen singing as a tribute to the victims of hate the night before. Roger: I've NEVER heard it sung like that before - and Brian talking about Adam's ascending into the skies singing!! You won't regret it - but you have to search for yourself - I don't know how to find links. Btw. this version from Montreal 1981 is my favourite for the time being. ❤

And I don't know if you've seen it before but in 1997 the 3 surviving Queen members did an amazing tribute to Freddie with the song and official video "No One But You (Only the Good Die Young)" with Brian and Roger on lead vocals. Just a suggestion: Don’t worry if you want to watch it again in the same reaction video. _Star Wars_ fans will watch a trailer twice. The second reaction is, I think, even better, because now you know what is coming, you can pick out more detail and depth. I know you know all of this-everyone does who loves and listens to music-but I know I wouldn’t complain if you had watched it again. And with a second viewing, you can pause it and give more active commentary than you might want to if you were seeing it for the very first time. Anyway, just a suggestion. It’s awesome to find a real Queen fan, someone who actually knows the individuals in the band and appreciates all their talents, so please keep these coming! Thank you.

I have always said that, it is a tear.
Yes, it's a very emotional song and Freddie sang it with so much feeling.
Of all the people that I have watched who have reacted to this video, you're the only one to notice the tear.
If you look closely at Freddie's face, he wasn't sweating hard enough for sweat to run down from under his eye.
Yes, this was an amazing performance.
Freddie was and is the best front man and rock singer ever.
    Rest in peace, Freddie.
    We miss you.

M Reed R I remember noticing that way back when I watched this on my vhs copy. I had a little debate with one of my brothers on whether or not that was a tear or sweat.
It really looks like a tear to me.

It’s a tear. If you look at his left eye a second or two later you can see the little pool of them. Freddie gave us everything he had, up to the point he couldn’t stand unassisted and could barely breathe. I was a lucky kid who saw them live in ‘74, as a warm up band believe it or not. Met him in person after that show, then saw them one more time on my birthday in New Orleans, Halloween 1978. There will NEVER be another Freddie.

I don't know why people don't want to admit that Freddie did cry sometimes when singing this song. His favorite Queen song for a reason. It meant alot to him personally. He did find it very hard to trust lovers particularly. That is why he was promiscuous. He didn't trust people's intentions. He kept a separate apt so as not to bring lovers home to his house in London. He was that wary of people using and abusing him. Very sad.

I’m so glad you loved it! How about More Than Words by Extreme? I give it my personal stamp of fabulosity!!! And if you’ve already done that one, Jimmy Fallon and Jack Black did a parody of More Than Words. At least it was SUPPOSED to be a parody. It had a couple funny parts, but it was really and truly incredibly good!

I read through most of the comments to make sure no one else already told you, but the reason the quality is so good is because this was recorded by the band. I read it was on 35mm film vs video.
