    Love your stuff as always dude. Still saving for some nods in the future but that day will come. Thanks for the knowledge!

    I managed to build a monocular with 92° FOV.
    But it's rather big and heavy.
    Lightweight wide angle binoculars seem like the best compromise at the moment.

    wonder if NoiseFighters will do a metal mount for thermals? I own all the mounts in poly, AX14, Pano 1st & 2nd gen & the mount for my NOX18 (forgot the name) and they have been fine once the 1st updates for the 1st gen came out. all the failure to stay tight issues went away with the washers and hardware updates. with the NOX arms the PanoBridge has been really nice to go dual spectrum with. great job laying out the options Will, thanks for your time.

      The new M1 with the QD dovetail adapter shown in the video (it's also metal) will do the trick along with the fore-aft dovetail (also metal). You'll really like the M1. It's by far the best Panobridge and also my favorite.
      And thank you, sincerely appreciate it

    Hey nitewalker got a question for ya. What would be the best way to bridge mount a pvs 14 and a pvs 18 to make duals?
    After researching the only option i have found is the KVC bridge with the pvs 14 shoe and then a shoe that connects to the monocular lens and then mount those both to the kvc bridge.
    Any suggestions?

      That combo isn’t going to work. The -18 is designed to basically have its own “j-arm” so to say meant to attach to a G24 without requiring a j-arm.
      So if you were to mount the -18 to a bridge with dovetail then it’s offset too far if that makes sense

      @@NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION ya that makes sense. Thats what i figured. I was hoping the new pano bridge with the dovetail adapter replacement on one side would make it work. The dovetail adapter does have ipd adjustment but probably not enough to fix how much offset is in the pvs 18

    Would you recommend a tanto, pvs-14, or rvm-14 for bridging with a thermal? I like how much lighter the tanto and rvm-14 are than the pvs-14, but the tanto doesn't have manual gain and the rvm-14 seems like it would be harder to resell since it's so new?

      I really like the RVM-14. I think you’d really like one if you saw it in person. Add RPO lenses and it’s really light and tough. I don’t think it’d be hard to sell but if you wanted duals they pair up nice

      @@NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION Do you think manual gain is important for bridging with a thermal? Or can you do without manual gain and use an adjustable iris?

    • @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION
      @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION  Před 14 dny

      @@musicman1eanda Monoculars should have manual gain. Not necessarily for the thermal but more so without the thermal it’s lets your brain use the image from your unaided eye. If the image is too bright your unaided eye basically turns off. Lower the gain and you start seeing a combined image from both eyes

      @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION Never heard anyone mention combining the images better with an unaided eye. Thanks for the insight. Tanto was my #1 choice to save for, but now I'm leaning towards the rvm. I do need to be able to resell whatever mono I get.
