- The BNVG-M is a long awaited brand new night vision goggle designed and made by TNVC! It is modular in design for use in either ANVS aka Anvis or BNVS aka dovetail configuration power supply.
Available now.
I forgot to edit in the clip showing it on the scale. The ANVS version weights 19.1oz. The BNVS is about 20-21oz.
Man, you are really helping me out on this journey of researching night vision.
Again, appreciate your content so much. Would live to see you start your own NV sales company
Awesome content as always!
Good video as always brother I am looking at getting one of these thanks for the video
Every reason you listed are the reasons I love my ANVIS-6
Agreed, I love the simplicity & lightness of the -6 / -9, but they’re not as tough and the lens filters aren’t ideal on the ground. The Artemis ANVS is basically a ground based version similar to a F5050 but unlike the 5050 is readily available for everyone and with unfilmed WP and the housings are available for DIY or as an upgrade
Ha! I think I just talked to you on the phone about this goggle. Really helpful speaking to you today. I'll be ordering towards the end of April. Thanks!
Lol
How do these stack up compared to a tnvc built RNVG? I really like the idea of the Anvis system but concerned about salt water, sand & mud messing with that ball detent connection. Any suggestions either way? Cheers
Awesome video! Great content man! Keep up the quality knowledge transfer!
Thank you sir 🤙🏼
Cool vid man, running rnvgs but these look rad
Liked before watching
How much do they cost?
So is this just the frame for the tubes? Or is it using their own non-generic tubes?
I had the L3 1531s and loved them, but sold them for a project. I really like these but do you feel the weight is a little too much or not bad?
The weight is perfectly fine. Especially the ANVS config, it’s the lighter of the two, at 19.1oz
More toys i want but can't afford.
Love the vids!
🤙🏼
This is the housing I'm 100% buying.
I had a pair of sentinels with the Anvis configuration. I loved the idea of how the on/off function was realitvely automatic.
My issues were
1. Occasionally the ball detent would disengage from minimal force
2. The A/B night vision ball detent mount was so incredibly tall that it put the goggles in an unnatural position.
I bought the expensive GSGM and battery pack system and eneded up switching back to a standard dove tail -- super disappointing.
Do you thing the Artemis will will perform differently considering the mount is different ?
Thanks for the video
I owned Sentinels with ball detent as well. The Artemis is a much design. Obviously the same potential issues are there in regards to the ball detent mount in regards to it being easier to break away from the mount
@@NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION Does TNVC bring the Artemis binos to the "try before you buy" events ? Do they take requests ?
I'm on the fence about driving to attend the Badlands, OK events
Thanks for the informative videos
@@GMRVC1 I believe they’ll have one but it won’t be an Anvis configuration
any chance they make a dovetail mount that doesnt have the onboard power? maybe make it a little bit lower profile for guys wanting to run a dovetail and dedicated power pack
Just these two options
Have you seen a FDE DTNVS goggle? Possibly cerakote?
Act in Black showed some cerakote options at SHOT or around then. I don’t think they’re in the wild but I’m not 100%
initially I didn't have much interest in this housing, but now that I'm back on my MOD3B for ANVIS use (Had a Katana and dropped it, it broke) I gotta wonder if it's a superior ANVIS interface to the MOD3B, or if it's lighter.
It is a superior Anvis interface for sure. The mod3’s Anvis interface is kind of meh to be honest. The Artemis is about 20z so similar weight
@@NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION so would you say it's worth changing to as a housing? More rigid perhaps? There's a good bit of slop in my mod-3.
@@mikethemaniac1 IMHO, yes, especially if you’re wanting a solid Anvis goggle and don’t mind losing the ability to separate them.
You can also buy the BNVS power supply interface if you decide to switch to dovetail. The BNVS uses an L3 Fischer port for remote battery.
super unrelated, is there any specific or harmful reason why the TSC (dtnvs lemo adapter) won’t work with an rnvg? or is it a warranty coverage thing?
The TSC is only designed for the DTNVS battery compartment and the mfg states the same. It’s not needed since the RNVG has a LEMO port. Or do you have one of the early versions without it?
NITEWALKER i have the lemo port one but the way my adams ground pack cable bends makes me uncomfortable, i’m working on an extension rn but i was hopeful the tsc might work, it would be way easier to manage
Are you the guy I talked to at tnvc about my rnvg's lowering extension the other day? The person gave me the same tip on running fixed bridge binos.
Most likely. I remember talking to someone about it recently 👍🏼
please let me know if they are going to have a really good sale this year, I need to get a PVS14. I am thinking of a photonis right now for the price and low EBI.
Our next sale will be 4th of July. Don’t know what it’ll be (and couldn’t say if I did lol) but the Echo -14s likely won’t be on sale. They’re already at the lowest price you will find at Night Goggles
@@NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION can you request to have certain specs when buying? I am not sure if I would want to go with Photonis or L3 for the lower EBI.
@@awsomedude9111 yessir, you can request specs for no additional charge. Best bet is to call in and we can discuss them and make recommendations. The L3 unfilmed tubes are commonly coming in and what used to be considered “high spec” so you don’t necessarily have to get too crazy with specs
How hard is it to install your own tubes?
Installing tubes is pretty simple with the right tools but professional install is best for a properly collimated system that’s purged.
I have a Team Wendy helmet and trying to figure out what mount is needed if anything is needed to switch
If you mean to attach a ball detent goggle to the helmet, you need a ball detent anvis helmet mount like the AB Night Vision Storm.
Select the ACH version for TW helmets
@@NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION
I have the TNV/BNVG-M Artemis Binocular NVG Modular w ANVS Ball Detent System and the mounted with Wilcox GSGM Ground Spec Goggle Mount to fit onto the Team Wendy Helmet in my wishlist, also with the AB night vision low profile battery pack
@@ryangaraghty1376 Nice 👍🏼 make sure to get the GSGM with the adapter plate.
Any other PVS-4 owners looking at this!?!? Very nice rig, but I just can’t justify the price tag yet. Other priorities right now.
…SCARED to know what it costs..
Reminds me of a Sentinel does it not?
Similar design but much better. The Artemis ANVS ball detent design is better and the BNVS version has a better interface with remote battery port. The Sentinel BNVS did not have a battery port.
@@NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION Hopefully lighter than the Sentinel as well
@@mikeb4708 the ANVS version is definitely lighter. I don’t have a sentinel to weigh but looking at post weights, the Sentinel with ball detent is about 23oz or so. The Artemis ANVS (ball detent) is 19.1oz
Most helmet can run the MBS as long as its has 3 holes for mounting it and thats most helmets this days
That BNVG-M Artemis looks pretty salty..
