Carson vs RPO has a bit of info online. You can google it - I hear tho RPO has issues in colder weather. Glass clarity on RPO etc is as good if not better though. Depends on the weight you're trying to save and the cost of doing so.
@@chloe4587 OPFOR Night Solutions has some good write ups you can find on their website. Myself personally I like them for the weight savings and I don’t notice any visual advantages over Carson Mil-Spec lenses.
@@chloe4587 I hear there was minor distortion as well, but not enough to notice while moving around outside. It something I would like to spend the extra money on when I do another set of goggles but was curious about what other people thought after using both
I have the Rayvn rail to sir. I like it but the quick attachment of the knight is hard to beat. Plus on the Rayvn using a 14 the IR eliminator is lower and i can’t get low on the rifle as i can with the knight-a. I am working on modifying the Rayvn to be quick attach.
@@nastyone9556 copy. A trick with the Rayvn Rail is to remove the screw that keeps it from sliding off the bridge and you can remove the device and put it back on. It’s not as seamless as a dovetail QD but it works
I picked up RNVG recently with with high FOM l3. I sometimes wonder what I’m missing out on. I’ll prob never get to try any of these features because most people in Maine are poor lol
This overview covers the RPNVG housing features. Different tube options are available from TNVC and other dealers.
Im still at the battlefield pickup stage of night fighting preparedness.
Been watching trucks drive by for a couple years now.... not a damn thing's fallen off yet.
This guy doesn’t proxy war
If you don't have NODs, you're the battlefield pickup. 😉
@@BlackRifleBear I got dibs on his boots! 🤣
Brother if you can afford it, Ultimate Night Vision sells L3 unfilmed PVS-14s for $2876. Killer deal
Will great review! It’s always a pleasure calling TNVC and talking to you
Thank you sir appreciate you🤙🏼
Can we expext a manual gain version soon? How about the ability to set the pano degree with a stop?
can you still power the device on with just a singular pod attached?
I want these but with the actinblack 50° lenses
Same
Any chance you'll do a video comparison of regular vs RPO with your thoughts on if theyr worth it?
I may do that down the road

How useable is the 65 degree setting? Is there adequate overlap between images or is it bad?
It’s very usable and the overlap is adequate.
I was wondering if I could use one of the pods with nights armament bridge and a flare breach??
I didn’t have the monocular pods to try it so can’t say for sure. If you don’t have a bridge, I would go with the Rayvn Rail. Will work for sure

Is it possible to remove one mono and run a dual band setup with this bino?
Yes but not using the same bridge. You’d have to get the ABNV monocular adapter and different bridge such as the Rayvn Rail or Panobridge
How about the panning arc bridge from NV+
Haven’t used it
I have one of them and it's really nice
Great product, but for the love of God quit smacking your lips
That’s how I talk so don’t watch if it bugs you that much to criticize me in the comments 🤷♂️
