I lived in Eagle from 1980 to 1984. My house is at 5:24. My husband and kids helped build it in 1982. It’s changed so much. We had outhouses and water from the main well house!! I enjoyed this very much. Thank you for the visit. :)
Wow. Great memories!!!!
We made that trip in 2019. What a great adventure. Thanks for the video.
Thanks. It’s a great place to visit.
Loved the library book return.
It was a cool town to visit.
Super well done video! Just what I was looking for.
Thanks. Glad it helped.
I have driven the Taylor highway round trip nearly 1000 times. Really makes me want to go back soon. Thank you for the video...

Thank you we are very happy with how this turned out.
TFS Eagle looks to be a quiet place. Nice views from the drone and those mountain ridge roads sure are great places to see the mountains and rivers. Happy trails.
Great pictures
nice one alaska is on my bucketlist
Thanks! You’ll love it here.
Interesting town & I enjoyed your narration!
Awesome video guys as always.
Thank you very much.
dig the extended drone footage 👍
Thanks. After not being able to fly for the Canadian part of our journey I went a little heavy on the drone footage.
Another great video and Love the music that you included.
Thanks! Such an amazing drive deserved some beats.
Great video once again. Weather much better returning than outbound, and Beth has gotten over her cold, good stuff, see you next time.
Thank you. It was an amazing drive.
Ok, that road was freakin amazing!
Thanks. We love exploring Alaska.
We had by passed Eagle on both of ours passed trips, we'll be sure to make it there on our 2021 journey. Another wonderful video, the road out to Eagle looked really good!
The dirt roads are alive and change with the weather, but it was an amazing drive.
Cool !
I love your videos
Sweet drone footage, Rebecca! :-)
Thank!!!
Eagle has always been one of my favorite places to visit in AK. It has almost been 50 years since I was there plan to make it one more time again. Sure looks different, no multistory buildings when I was there. Just a bunch of log cabins and houses lined the shore of the Yukon.
I would have loved to see Alaska 50 years ago.
@@outliersoverland It was way different, most towns looked slummy compared to the lower 48. The main focus was to survive and keep the cold out not beautiful looking buildings. Grocery stores mainly carried caned or boxed food. As in Fairbanks 1/2 the town had to drive to Fox to get you jugs filled with drinking water. We drank powered milk as fresh was too much money. Fresh salad was a treat. Though everyone had fresh salmon, moose & bear in the freezer. It was almost like being in a 3rd world country. But it was a great place to live!
17min well spent.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the video.
I liked this video with some fantastic drone footage! I really perked up when you were at the car wash but the video ended...ugggh. I hope you do a vlog of you washing your rig!
Thanks. It took 3 trips to 3 different car washes to get to all off.
Thanks could probable still find more if I looked hard enough.
you said low 40's is that now? like sept-oct? because we will be there in august- Sept just wondering what I need to pack lol we dont like cold that much Floridians here lol we will be leaving in May and will be there in August also loving the music you guys chose do you pay for it very nice:)
Hey guys. This was mid August.
It’s a lot colder in October, but not full blown -20 like is regularly seen in winter.
Thank you.
We have a membership with Epidemic Sound, I think it’s been a great addition.

“Alaska’s Best Dirt Roads...” is the #GreatestPunchlineEver ... When I read that I remembered my Mother’s favourite punchline which was always... “I laughed so hard that tears were streaming down my leg.” Well, this came mighty close. #WellDone #ISurvivedTheTopOfTheWorldHighwayButMyCampersSewageSystemDidNot
You gave some great memories!!!
What kind of MPG do you get with that rig ?
I just pasted you in soldotna as you guys were going to the visitors center
Hello. We saw you waving.
We were fighting the biggest challenge of traveling around Alaska during the late season.
Finding water for our tanks!
Fortunately the son of Diamond M Ranch “Alaskan Outsider” makes CZcams videos and got us water after they were closed for the season.
@@outliersoverland that's good and if that happens again try the fire Department
Been to Eagle twice.
We’d go again in a heartbeat.
Hey, a red UK phone box, would not to have liked to pay the shipping costs those weigh about a ton and a half, that was one of the earlier larger ones.
I bet that phone booth has a great story.
Drone overkill!!!
That’s what happens after you spend 7 days in a country you can’t legally fly in.
@@outliersoverland Understood.
:-)) :-))
