I need you for every video ever my friend
Your a full on saint
The amount of pickaxes in my inventory from farming smithing stones [8] is insane. I never want to see another one of the again. 😂
Why didn’t you just get the bell bearing
@@animations2298 Seriously this.
@@animations2298 maybe theyre doing a pacifist run like its undertale 😹
@@X6sosa then they wouldn't be getting pick axes from killing miners
@@montgomeryfitzpatrick473 its a joke bruh, loosen up
Suggestion for next secret or unique weapon. There is a dagger called the Wakizashi found in Gaol Cave in Caelid. What makes it unique is that, even though it's a dagger, it can be power-stanced with any katana.
For context, they can be powerstanced due to that combination of weapons being a Daisho set often used by Samurai
@@AnonymousInternetUserLaine annoyingly though the sheath goes on the opposite side unlike all of the other katana sheaths
I will also not that it doesn't count as a dagger and can only be power stanced with other katana
@@lunethheart it's only classified as a dagger in game due to its length. I do agree with you though
Wow thats actually so cool
Didnt know that
Some miyamoti musashi shit
Closest thing to a modern vagabond game
I generally like having sacrificial axe in my offhand for that passive fp regen. Unfortunately it doesn't stack when you dual-wield two of them, but the fp regen does stack with Sword of Milos and that horn charm for a total of 12 fp back on kill.
This def works off hand then 2 hand fp hungry weapon of your choice..does regen more than the talisman so good for having extra options
A very useful tip for the Sacrificial Axe is to put Prayerful Strike on it. As well as being a handy tool for getting back FP, you can then also use it to get 1/3 of your HP back when needed.
Can agree, this method is especially useful on a sorcerer build. If you can one shot 3 enemies with a single glitstone arc, you come out of it up 1 fp. If you use the regal spirit talisman, you come ahead by 3 fp for just 2 enemies
Glintstone Kris was my mainhand weapon as a pure mage through most of the game. Allowed me to save a slot on having glintstone pebble by being nearabouts as efficient and significantly deadlier, and really solid for just dispatching someone who you don't want to waste another spellcast on. I ended up saving so much FP I was tripping flasks for most of the endgame. Sadly about as useful as a wet fart against the elden beast, but that's why you bring a killsat laser in your spellbook.
The Miquellan Knights Straight Swords skill also has that killing effect for the Those That Live in Death as it is acting just like Orders's Blade was applied to it.
Edit: so does its arc, which does HEAVY damage to them, was running through Crumbling Farum and one shotting the undead beastmen with that attack on a +6 version of it with them not reviving
Are you using a Faith build? I wonder if I could get the same result with 50 FTH and the weapon on +9.
It's not the unique feature of this particular sword. Any weapon that can do a lot of holy damage kills skeletons right away.
@@raelxx not really, was more Arcane than faith
@@CaMypau I am just informing that the effect is capable of doing so without the need to be applied, since its AoW is a unique one
@@CaMypau honest question from a newbie then. If my gold halberd does holy damage on hit why do the skeletons still revive?
You know what we be more helpful than just updating the community on what now OP, an actual checklist of every item in the game... 😐
Just want to draw attention to a whole category of weapons that's function is overlooked. Flails. These are THE anti shield or hardened enemy weapon. They can't be parried at all, npc's that parry won't even try to, like Carian Knight Moongrum will put away his shield if you equip a flail. They don't bounce off shields or hard enemies (like the miners or those bastard knight captains), so you don't get staggered and left open for a critical or have your combo's interrupted on foot or horseback. And they deal a ton of stamina drain against shielded enemies, I actually think they ignore the guard boost stat as even with 100 GB (zero stam loss while blocking) a flail will stance break me in 3 hits.
Oh I like this... might have to pair my Jellyfish Shield with Bastard Stairs and take on some annoying Rotten Crystalians.
When I just started playing ER as a Wretch, one of my very first weapons was the Miner's Pickaxe. I have very warm and special feelings about this weapon!
You can get rhe Miquella Sword without having to go up the elevator. After the prayer room s.o.g., there are some rooms on the left side of the parh leading out. One of them takes you up some stairs and brings you to a small upper platform with a tree root you can run across and get to the top of the tower from.
Just because I heard you mention it before, that flat headed ant, it's a species of real ant :) his duty is literally to guard the hole they crawl through
There's one in game. Pretty sure on the way to pick up.the Wing of Astel.
Something really satisfying about using an oversized pickaxe to kill things with. It also gets really good damage with cold scaling so if you’re a mage who likes to have a giant weapon in your non-staff wielding hand you should give this one a try. Death Stars too.
In a game filled with crazy unique weapons. It really is satisfying using weapons like the pickaxe or the boat anchor.
P.S revert back to Royal Greatsword , i was really shocked on how Powerful they adjusted my boy Blaidd's Greatsword. ( Now the Wolf Assault Ashe of War Skill the Royal Greatsword offers much easier and accessible Frost Proc Build-up alone , for how consistent the Animation is being reduced and now you shred basically anything your way ). I'm pretty surprised but Royal Greatsword now even exceeds the Black Blade Colossal weapon in terms of Damage with the new Adjustments of 1.04. 💯
Really appreciate this channel. thankyou!
That ant head greatshield isn't flattened, there's actually an ant mob with that head that is very tanky if you hit it in the head instead of the body
Might as well have named this video "8 weapons in elden ring"
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Rampage for this video. I had the Sacrificial Axe for a while sitting in my chest. I hadn't read the fine print on the description and had NO IDEA that it restored FP. It isn't very much, but it...in essence...makes anything you cast cost a little less if you hold it in your off-hand while you cast with your other hand. One hit kill reaps the best use/reward ration. BUT WAIT...THERE'S MORE!!!! You get FP back when YOUR SUMMONS KILL STUFF! I took my wolves through a patch of poison flowers. I was almost out of FP and I just stood back and let them kill everything. Every kill they made sent me FP and by the time the patch was clear (there was a lot of them), my FP bar was filled up again. WOW! That is situational of course, but in a fight with a lot of enemies and group summons like the wolves or demi-humans, this could really make a difference between you running out of FP or not. Awesome! Please make a video showing this. It is a game changer in my opinion.
Amazing channel I watch all of your elden ring videos keep up the great work
I have the Ant's Skull plate I never thought of using it for it's build up but you've given me so many ideas.
Definitely seems handy to farm aeonian butterflies in the lake of rot
Thanks for the consistent uploads bro 👍
Been watching since mhw and tbh you guys help more then Anyone I have Watched in a long time. And give a daily serotonin boost
Try the Crescent Moon Greataxe, best heavy attack in the Greataxe kategorie 😁
Wow, that heavy attack is indeed gorgeous, thank you for pointing that out
Found one called claymans harpoon, a spear with magic damage that accepts ashes. Adding a big slash to a spear is pretty cool for a tank build !
I completely missed Sellen's quest but that dagger seems neat. I'll get it next time I do an int build.
The lazuli grindstone sword has been my main weapon all the way through my current playthrew. Staffs come and go talismans get replaced and I've had a few different sets of armor, but that is my sword.
I found that meteorite katana while lost in that horrible ruins I'm very glad I did it was a good heavy attacks when I needed and the gravitas would used at certain times when the enemy is charging towards you can stagger them
The sacrificial axe is one of my most ‘used weapons’. I put sacred vow on it and have it in my offhand whenever I 2h weapons. The passive FP is a godsend and getting a super early game Golden Vow buff without needing a single point in faith is just wonderful. S teir weapon without question
But you het Golden Vow off a knight in Limgrave, at like the very start
@@worldeater2414 You get the SKILL Golden Vow very early, which is what I use on the Axe. You don't get the SPELL Golden vow until the mid-latish game
Been using meteoric blade on my mage for a while, real good to use it's gravitas power then follow up with one of the carion blade spells
It's worth noting that the Glintstone Kris has another difference in it's ash of war. Besides being able to charge it, the follow-up R2 thrust covers almost exactly twice the distance of the regular Glintstone Pebble skill.
Have you guys made a video about the Ornamental straight sword? I feel like that weapon has the most bonkers move set in the game. SO MANY different attacks depending on basically everything. The charged heavy you get when the weapon is buffed is absolutely wild and unlike anything I've ever seen.
The glintstone dart with spellblade set and the talismans that powers up skills, charged spells and sorceries is OP af. With the magic scorpion talisman equipped too has me smacking things for 2300 and it pierces enemies. It’s seriously so underrated.
The pickaxe is super underated for early game strength build, just slap determination and power stance and watch it oneshot everything early. I killed Tree Sentinell with this around lv 15 powerstancing it first playthrough. Really should check it out if ur doing new save file
You don't need to do Ranni's quest to get to noxstella. You can also ride the coffin in the deeproot depths.
Woah woah woah, you mean to tell me the meteorite sword have is the Ichimonji strike, and the Ichimonji double? That’s OP, and another move drawn from Sekiro
The kris blade is quite nice. It has a charge ash of war too which is pretty strong
There is a coffin along the waterfall in deep root depths that drops u into the same place that the portal in Renna's rise (Ranni quest) takes u... Much harder to get to, but also available
Thank you for the reminder! I decided to not do Rannis quest on my current playthrough and attacked her instead. Only after that did I remember that I needed her to reach Nokstella/Ainsel/Lake of Rot. I thought I was screwed, but totally forgot about that coffin!
@@iwillnotcomply1707 not manny people even know about it... I had found it on accident myself
The intro had me rolling 🤣
Miquellan knight sword is such an amazing weapon and I'm sad it has such low scaling on its stats
Exactly what I thought to and wish they had hid it some where at least early or mid game wise because you can get better stuff by the time you hit haligtree unless you tunnel for it and doesn't seem worth it at that point
@@thuluslime5364 Yea you’d think is a strong weapon because of the area where you find it. I wish at least a C scaling on any stat and would be awesome!
It's scaling isn't that bad on a quality build. The multiplier on the fully charged strong attack is nuts compared to how fast it comes out and the distance covered.
Probably one of the best, if not the best holy damage weapons on a quality build.
I love the pickaxe with knights resolve it does so much damage
The Lazuli Glintstone Sword has carried me as a swordmage through 90% of the game! Mostly because I didn't want to use Moonveil... I think I enjoy the straight sword's moveset a bit better than the katana's! The skill is very solid once you get used to it.
I don’t use katanas much so I didn’t know that heavy attack of the meteoric orc blade even though I have it. That’s basically ichimonji from Sekiro. Pretty cool
I'm currently using dual Lazuli glintstone swords for pvp because I'm a pure mage so they're my only option without putting a few points into str/dex. They're extremely weak even upgraded to 7+ but I still use them a lot for duels and I often get a lot of respect for not just using spells and spamming for a semi-easy win. 2 shots from my opponent and I'm dead but I can get off 5 or 6 hits and they're still standing so I've had to learn to get DAMN GOOD if I want to stand with the big boys in melee.
I put Flame of the Redmanes on my Sacrificial Axe. Love having that posture damage and being able to restore FP at the same time.
Ah I see you are one of culture lol. Flame of the redmanes is very good. I used it thru my entire first playthrough. The stagger is delicious.
@@jingalls9142 Same here. Any big enemy, I'd just switch to my axe and put them in a stagger loop. Usually didn't take more than one or two hits with it to stagger. My 2nd playthrough, I discovered how broken the Envoy's Long Horn is and never looked back lol. Just destroyed everything in the game with bubbles.
nice vid
after what I've seen from prod the lazuli glintstone sword is good option to shut down rivers of blood but you need to be good at it because rivers is just broken so you gotta use lazuli pretty well or else you'll get rekt
Those heavy attacks remind me of the halo scythe's ash of war motion minus the projectile.
You could have put whips on here like the thorned whip or the Urumi. Urumi is a very unique whip that does slash instead of strike. Heavy attacks hit twice 2nd hit is a very long range poke. Found in caria manor
6:11 fun fact: Glintstone Kris, there are IRL Kris weapons that have real and magical effects, exceedingly rare to find in South East Asia.
them good smithing parts, lol!
You forgot to mention the Ant Head Shield has the highest Hardness Tier of all Shields and in pvp some weapons that normally woeundnt bounce of greatshields will bounce of this.
Any chance you could check the viability of Magma Whip Candlestick since Sea of Magma got buffed in the most recent patch? Specifically, increased cast speed and decreased recovery time.
The meteoric ore blade heavy is the itchimanji strike from sekiro. Cool to see fromsoft include something from sekiro
Rare weapons have awesome about thatakes worth it to get
Uchimonji gravity katana!
Also: it’s gravitas radius looks much bigger then the ashes of war version, unless the aoe scales with int or something?
I think the ash of war description actually states that it has a larger radius than the standard version.
@@Daniel-ix6nq huh, because I was the ashes on my claymore to farm some birds for crafting some silver bird feet, and I was surprised how close I had to get, especially after seeing this video. Maybe it’s got some bad interaction with the terrain: the birds are always on rock ledges, the elevation could’ve caused problems and cut the radius down. Because I did manage to suck like 4-5 bats out of the air in one cast.
I’ll have to test later.
@@okonkwojones Terrain is always a problem for me too. For farming birds, or really anything, I use the Sacred Relic Sword. Waves of Gold had the largest AoE of any skill/spell. Can actually give you the more efficient farming in the Moghwyn Palace than baiting the Raven off the cliff.
Could you do a list of weapons, you only get by farming enemies?
Some you get by accident, but some enemies you usually just run past, or low drop rate and the like.
P.s.: I love your outro.
Entertainment thrice
Just got the ore blade to 10 and it’s a beast in pvp
The FP back works while in off hand, and does stack with the Talisman spirits horn for a whopping 7FP back per kill …. I dunno maybe useful for clearing stuff on long runs /shrug
I guess I've explored the whole world, finally.
Games so addicting
The Noble's Slender Sword and Noble's Estoc is all you need for sheer drip
nice video but i can't believe you mentioned the sacrificial ax and not Milo's sword?
Just noticed that the meteoric ore blade heavy attack is ichimonji from Sekiro.
What was your chest armour on the first skit?
I can’t believe I’ve passed the meteor katana on 6 play throughs despite always visiting the rot swamp.
Cool and all, but nothing can beat the classic lordsworn's greatsword, my weapon of choice
That bad boy is one of the most underrated in game.
The broadsword beats it in scaling. The only advantage it has is the bonus crit damage.
That sacrificial axe looks similar to the one bosses axe u get I'm dark souls 3
didn't we already do this vid
Is it possible to buff the meteor katana with the meteor staff?
Great club would be incredible if you could change the AoW on it.
The other way to get to nokstella is through a coffin in the deep root depths, though Ranni is the easier option.
when i saw the meteor kata all i was thinking about is ichimonji double, ichimonji double, ichimonji double
Just picked up a mantis blade.
He mentioned the ant sheild I told him about lol
meteoric katana's heavy attack is ichimonji actually
What is the chest piece at the beginning?
Ok im about to be that guy who comments before watching the whole video. But that first skit. Pretty ironic that mister head on a stick talked about how it’s uncool to use creature heads as weaponry.
Sacrificial axe. Fall damage. Guillotine-esque. Guillotine fall. Do fall damage to neck.
There's a theory in there somewhere
Using THE fit I see 😁😁
The Great Club is severely underrated. Can be buffed as well so it can do tremendous damage. The ash of war is unique and has some of the best tracking for a ranged attack in the game. The fact that it has such reach and a magic ash of war on a weapon with that sort of poise damage is staggeringly scary in the right hands
Not unique, you can apply it to other weapons too
But it looks like you're swinging a car battery at someone
this sword is very good and beautiful , but unfortunately its scaling is so low it would be nice if its strength reached B . I think the publisher if they adjust the scaling Strength to B, the rest D will be better
What armor is in the Intro?
I hope they buff madness again, why did they nerf it so hard! It was just the frenzied burst that was broken, I had a niche build where I madness myself with howl of shabriri and the black dumpling so I get a double damage buff and the black dumpling lasts a whole minute
What's that weapon he was using to fight the dragon
1:00 It's a Great Axe moveset, my man. That's why it can be power stanced with Great Axes... But still, it's a Great Hammer : /.
I wish so bad for things like Crescent Axe to have a Great Hammer moveset. Looks just so much better. Great Axes, in terms of moveset, suck so much.
that glintstone pebble ash of war is op in the worst way, pve i really couldn't care less but I always shake my head when I see it pvp
Ore blade is my favorite because it reminds me of fujitora from one piece
On the next video, 8 more weapons I haven’t mentioned yet and guess what they are OP too!
The best farmable weapon are the Magmaweapons imo.
Here's something funny I'm actually making a Gilgamesh character and ill have invasions any were near the legendary armerments.
I beat the game on ng+2 with just a glintstone kris
Is there something wrong with the microphone? I keep hearing clicking while watching the video.
Imagine using darkness as the incantation for this build lol
Hate the recieveing end of the pick ax
Got news for you buddy, I didn't miss those weapons, so nanny nanny boo boo.
Yeah I find it hard to consider most weapons in Elden Ring "rare" when they're literally guaranteed to be in the places shown with the exception of the two you have to farm for. Cool weapons nonetheless, but doesn't quite work when calling them rare
I am back to Elden Ring after 10 months💪😎Best time to contact cause of the Upcoming DLC💪💪💪
can you please please put time stamps for the different weapons so viewers can go back and forth for comparisons
PLEASEEEEE get rid of your end credit song. It’s horribly cringe. Other than that, super solid videos, subscribed.
I died from cringe the first time i heard it lmao
Ticket placed under review
anybody talk about sword you get from the meteor elf boss in lake of rot?
