This deserves a pin
Doing the work they aren't willing to do. Sad but expected
Thx Man 🏆
@@mthequietbass547 and yeah the creator liked it and didn’t pin it 🤦🏿♂️
Missed Golden Epitaph
Dragonslayer armor build is now possible with the executioners axe now
That's the first thing I thought when I saw it, now I just need to find a falling bolt ash of war
Prayerful Strike. Huge hyperarmor and big damage, plus landing it heals you for 30% of your max HP
Lol idk why they didnt say it was from DS3
@@blueprinkle6965 I don’t think they thought about it that much, I mean the weapon isn’t too rememberable aside from the weapon art.
@@Godzilladoom2 yeah... lol I probably remember it because I used it so much. Or I always thought of it as the nameless kings original weapon. 😁👌👌
a rare weapon I recommend: guardian's sword spear. it's a pretty cool looking halberd that can be gotten really early from tree guardians, with a really rare and fast moveset, only shared by loretta's war sickle.
Can't be that rare I have like 6 of them
I don't buy the shield being linked to Dark Souls... It makes far more sense to be linked to Castle Sol which has lore regarding a Sun that has faded or is no longer there.
Sol literally means Sun. I agree 100%, the design and appearance has nothing to do with Anor Londo.
Yeah this guys just got a dung brain lmao like theres np connection to ds1
There are so many different reasons to believe Elden ring tied with dark souls so I disagree this could just be more proof
It does say city and not castle so I do believe your right.
For farming purposes, you could add in Marika's soreseal and activate Godrick's great rune for a little bit more arcane!
Then farm with the grafted great sword…
TREK TO YOMI ( PART 3 ) czcams.com/video/vVwJlEbtjzI/video.html 👈🏻👈🏻👈🏻
BRO! I AM SO DUMB! I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT USING MARIKAS SORESEAL AND GODRICKS GREAT RUNE!!! That would’ve increased my discovery by a lot! Thanks for telling me!
@@BloodyInitiate why the grafted sword?
@@MaskFanaticYT the ash of war on it increases all your stats by 5 for 30 seconds. So you could use it, kill stuff, use it, kill stuff, etc.
Tip for the Sun Realm Shield, kill the other skeleton too to farm the Bandit's Curved Sword. It's a good curved sword weapon for dex builds and I used one of those with a frost affinity in tandem with Wings of Astel with great success. I ironically dropped the Sun Realm Shield way before I dropped the curved sword though at fairly low arcane..
I actually got the shield by total accident while farming the other one for the sword. It really is a good sword. I farmed 2 of them one from the one near the church of inhibition which is the soonest you can find one, and then got a second from that one near the merchant shack.
Just randomly got the Sun Realm Shield last night exploring Stormhill lol. I haven't played in months, have spent around 40 hours exploring & just started Stormveil last night.
There’s a faster way to farm the executioner axe; go down the path from the turtle pope site of grace and a skele with the axe spawns there
Or very close to the Church of the Plague where you meet Millicent, in a ravine close from there guarding a Miquellas Lily
Where? I'm only getting 3 or 4 Scythe-wielding skeletons to spawn.
1:50 the best place to farm the Noble Slender Sword is just outside the door from the Schoolhouse Classroom sight of grace. If you walk outside there are 3 sword carrying nobles around a pillar within very close proximity to the grace. Kill all 3, reset, repeat. I farmed 2 of these swords with 10 arcane, silver scarab, and silver tear mask in like 30 minutes. The Caravan he's referencing is ACTUALLY the best place to go farm the Nobles Estoc which is an AMAZING rapier for caster builds as it's requirements are miniscule.
Yeah this or 6-7 that are south east at the graveyard from the caelid highway south grace.
Thanks!
@@ChoumadaGaming Looked for 20 minutes and never found said graveyard.
@@ryansizemore5064 might have best south west then haha sorry!
Honorable mention should be the Spiked Spear that drops from the marionettes dual-wielding spears. It has a partisan move set, deals strike damage on the heavy attacks, and inflicts bleed.
absolutely, I love that spear
The catch is that it’s extremely short
Highest base spear ar tho
@@Kat-j19347 is it really that short? When I looked at it the spike on it made it longer than most other spear's but I have no way to check the actual model of the animation.
I remember it not being that bad because there are so many spear marionettes. The executioner’s axe is stupid rare because there’s only so many axe skeletons.
Another location to farm the executioner‘s greataxe is in Liurnia, right after exiting Stormveil castle.
Start at the „lake facing cliffs“ site of grace and travel towards the chruch of Irith, going past it and up the hill into the graveyard. There should be two skeletons hanging from the tree (dropping the grave scythe) and the one with the axe will crawl out of the ground.
This is a great spot if you want to farm both, the grave scythe and the executioner’s greataxe simultaneously
Yup exactly were I got my two scythes and Axe.
The Noble's Estoc was actually the first backup weapon I consistently used as my sorceress before I got to Raya Lucaria. I just love the way it looks and the estoc moveset is one of my favorites. I now use the Slender Sword as my Fundimentalist character, imbued with Sacred. Tempted to go back for the Estoc as well, for the more elegant rapier moveset to suit the character.
If you think about it, if the Sun Realm Shield's lore is correct and not just an Easter Egg, maybe it's implying that after we choose to let the First Flame fade and die at the end of DS3, maybe the Erdtree does what a lot of other trees do after a major forest fire, it grows from the now extremely fertile ashen ground of the Kiln of the First Flame. If thousands of Champions have been re-kindling the First Flame for eons after Gwyn, each one able to overcome and defeat the combined force of the previous ones, then it's little wonder that such a massive and LEGENDARY tree could sprout from the ash leftover once the First Flame is no longer burning and preventing anything from growing.
The Watchdog greatsword is my current 3rd most used Greatsword, it's aesthetic are fantastic I love the aesthetic and swapping Ashes of war on it.
Yeah I love it for its looks, even though it's not as good as the (Guts) Greatsword
I've been using the Grossmesser (had to have when I first saw it for those Carthus CS feels and it was a pain to farm 2 with only 12 arcane but I did it), Noble slender sword (gave me Baller Swag sword and Lothric SS vibes) and Executioner Axe (DS3 Dragonslayer Axe vibes especially with a certain AOW) for quite a while. I went through all the weapons on the wiki to see which I liked so I've seen most of them.
I like how you guys take your time, do a few weapons at a time and show where to get them, what makes them good and what kind of build to use.
Some channels just put up crazy thumbnails (I saw a guy use a DS3 weapon in one, smh) and have titles like
"99.9% missed this crazy bleed weapon. It shouldn't even exist".
And its some curved sword (all except the one that has bleed) or Iron greatsword. They're not bleed weapons (unless you count putting seppuku on a weapon as it being g a bleed weapon but then there's like 200 bleed weapons in the game).
I stopped even watching them because I know its click bait. Put in some effort and make it look good like you guys do. Thumbs up.
Isn't the Bandit's Curved Sword a better curved sword?
Correct, dual swords dropped by early game skeletons are the best curved swords in the game
@@Axelux99 maybe. But not looks wise. I think bandit has slightly better reach, and grossemesser has a little bit more damage, depending on stats and infusion. Both are really good and are top 5 (if not top 3) for most builds.
A nice tip for farming those annoying watchdogs (and even help with those pesky gargoyles). Craft yourself a crap ton of crystal darts (I suggest a couple run-throughs of the Selia crystal cave for materials) and let those slivers of crystals fly! Crystal darts are extremely effective against any enemy made of stone- Golems, Burial Watchdogs, and gargoyle imps. They have some form of status buildup, that when procced briefly stun the enemy, and make it to where they can aggro and draw aggro from other enemies. Plus they just flat out chunk their health bar.
I've been using two noble slender's one ice one fire art on my mage build with sword dance. Very fun and the combo sometimes catches people off guard. Good video I am gonna get two watchdogs on my greatsword build guy.
Nice, might need to get me some of those slender noble swords too, and I wish you great luck on your drop chance for the stone swords!
I cannot get that damn Noble sword to drop no matter what it seems like for me
You can also use marikas soreseal to improve arcane btw
It would be more probable to connect the shield lore with castle sol and to not lean more heavily in a biased view for the DS Anor Londo connection since Castle Sol has a way more fitting premisce for shield to be from there.
Agreed, linking it to Anor Londo is a big reach when Elden Ring itself has a castle associated with a Sun
Some folks have escaped the Dark Souls lore community vacuum and it shows.
Though for the sake of Elden Ring, that shield is probably referring to castle sol and lamp shading the importance of "the sun" in soulsborne lore. Just be aware that the sheer innumerable references to past soulsborne titles in Elden Ring is frightening.
Dragonslayer great axe was my goto weapon in ds3. Happy its back but wish we had a lightning smash art of War so it would be exactly like the old one.
We do, I think it’s called lighting slash
Awesome video GRV, you guys have the best weapon videos!!!
I'll be grabbing most of these. Already have half of them but gotta catch em all
what if Elden Ring is the Painting world from the end of the Ringed City DLC.
Big brain theory
It's fair to assume so. DS3 DLCs are a metaphor for finishing the game series before it stagnates and gets ruined and the painting is Miyazaki's vision of a game set in a new world that keeps the core essence of Dark Souls and moves on to create something new.
That dark souls skeletal remains shield, count me in RGV! This list was awesome all-in-all, thanks for sharing it bro!
If I’m not entirely off-base then Royal Knight’s Resolve on a Heavy Executioner’s Greataxe is the highest possible crit damage you can get for enemies that are not significantly weaker to Piercing/Thrusting damage than they are to Standard damage, the AR difference is just so huge even before you start stacking on the other damage buffers/multipliers.
Before you drop down to get the watchdog sword there’s an invisible wall up top. That’ll allow you to go up behind if you want.
Good lookin out!😃👍
U can even drop from where arekz was dropping as long as u don't go in front of watchdog he won't get active that's what I did I took out imps then I woke him up and brought him to the light, when he was close to the light I started spamming rykards rancor XD
This is true, but unfortunately since the watchdog is in Shadow form you still have to run around in front of him to get his attention and make him come into the light.
I was hoping the sword in the thumbnail was the titans sword the one they have on there back but it was a different one :(
You can use the Mohg Spear Ash to cheese him from under the stairs while he is above if you act quickly. Easiest method I found to farm the geezer.
8:44 please... the shield description is refering at castle sol or somewhere nearby
I still feel like the dlc ending where you get the paint for the girl in DS3, where she painted the world that Elden ring takes place in.
I watch every video y’all make to the very end because you’re outro is god damn catchy. Well done again 😎
About the Noble Slender Sword, there is also an Estoc you can drop from that same group of enemy (i found one there).
Noble estoc, still made of gold, still extremely hard to drop...
Recommend dual spiked club for casters as an early weapon. 12 str 7 dex req only; add frost on both and it is good through out the game even if it is not upgraded... bleed and frost procs. Also, strike damage is good for killing miners and crystalians with out wasting fp.
Great video as always. Got the watchdog greatsword to drop on accident but spent about an hour trying to get 2 grossmesser swords(only got 1) the thorn whips are really cool also and drop from those big red enemies by consecrated snowfield catacombs I think It is. I look forward to what you all find next!
yeah only the 1 prelate by the chain bridge has thorn whip. I farmed him like 100+ times for it to finally drop, then ended up getting 2 more in a row later when i was just fucking around lol
@@theclownofclowns almost same exact thing happened to me. Farmed her for close to an hour to get 1, then got 2 more in next 5 kills while farming her armor set.
Some of these are pretty interesting
Nobles slender sword is easier to farm from the academy grace next to the big moving platform area, there's three of the nobles there and the grace is super close to them
Used to watch the Minecraft build battles when I was little I’m turning 20 this year. Makes me happy to see you’re still uploading
The slender sword was my little secret, hope I don't see it everywhere now lol
As someone who just farmed every single equipment in the game, the Celebrant weapons are the rarest, particularly the Rib-Rake being the last one I found. The amount of time I spent running through Windmill village for all 4 weapons is more than the amount of time I spent getting every other rare equipment combined.
I got the RibRake on my 1st &Only run thru the Windmill Village. ₩/ Literally Zero [extra] Points in my ArcaneStat[10] 🤑
I spent way too long in the windmill village trying for 2 of each. I managed to get one of each fairly fast, but by the time I got my second sickle I had 6 cleavers and 4 rakes.
For the executioners axe you can also farm it from the cemetery on the way to liurnia going down the path to the merchant.
I finished the game 7 times, and only got one of those noble straight sword, they also drop the rapier one, which is even rarer cause the enemy itself is hard to find.
There is one in shaded castle which is quite easy to get to and farm the rapier
Another really awesome weapon is the noble slender rapier. Idk about it being the best rapier bc I've heard it's a tad bit short but it looks pretty awesome bc it's all gold just like the sword.
For the noble slender swords I farmed the area you suggested for an hour with no luck, I then went to the coffin area south of calied highway south and got 2 on the first try. Idk if the rng is higher there or what but if anyone needs a second farming location try there.
I like the noble's estocs a lot which can be farmed from the same bunch of mobs that the noble slender sword comes from (although it drops from a different mob). They are great to dual wield with blood.
Ah, I didn't know Sunrealm Shield was that rare! I got one randomly from a skeletal soldier in Mountaintop of Giants, just before the section full of Gashadokuro's.
Before jumping down to get to the Erdtree burial watchdog hit the wall to your right, it's an illusionary wall for some reason. Maybe to jump down without having to alert others if for some reason you died and needed to get your stuff back desperately without dying.
While I was farming for the Noble Slender Sword I picked up the "Dismounter" Curved Greatsword. Have you guys seen or used this yet?
It is my Main Weapon.
It dropped for me by Gatefront in Limgrave.
Been using it my entire (1st)Play-Thru.
Plus it gets outclassed by the omen cleaver in every aspect later on
Duel-welding these are really fun with the right ashes of war
From my (limited) testing, the spiked club seemed to be the best scaling club for any infusion, even without the bleed.
Grossmesser is my favorite curved sword in the game. Funny how I have that shield on my faith character, I didn't even know how rare it was.
Love your vids
Cleanrot sword is nice. Its got a 4% chance drop, and its a longer rapier, low requirements and pretty decent. Easy to farm at Caelid Swamps, i personally farmed mine at prayer room tho.
I got mine from the one outside the prayer room too.
Took about 2 sets of armor to get it though
I like it bc it does pretty good da
mage and using a heavy thrusting sword with a normal one for quicker attacks is fun. I also noticed you can put parry on it if that's your thing
I farmed for 20 minutes just to get 2 spiked flails from the Mad Pumpkins for my strength build.
Ended up not using them.
Yeah, I wasted my first and second playthrough raising up a bunch of weapons just to not use them ever again. Deep sigh
@@BLOODKINGbro
I feel your pain😮💨
I got that shield first try. I am so excited!
One sword a lot harder and more time consuming to farm is the magma blade, it’s a realy cool curved sword and I have been farming for 6 hours elapsed and only have gotten one
executioner's greataxe can have close riposte damage as Misericorde, and even higher against bigger enemy, where the dagger do two tick of damage instead of one.
I got the Grosmessar by sheer chance early on and it’s been sitting in my inventory. Maybe I’ll build it up next week.
You need to include the dragon king's cragblade at some point. It's dps is insane and it looks amazing
These videos are about rare drop chance weapons, not boss rememberance weapons.
Did anyone get the cane sword? I believe it's a long sword. Thought that was pretty cool
cane sword is a fixed location pickup. its actually a terrible sword stat/damage wise tho it does have the unique benefit of been the lightest weapon that can have speku ash of war put on it.
I got the slender sword in my first play through, beat the game with it :)
The Nobel sword and thrusting sword took me the longest to farm and i have farmed every armor and weapons twice but having all armaments is awesome
staff of the guilty was even worse for me, I must have killed like 300 of those fuckers before it dropped
I chose to farm every item in the game before finally going to new game plus. Of course now I have a bunch of some so I will randomly drop Noble slender swords , lava swords and such lol. I will say it almost feels like rng % increases once you have discovered them the first time.
haha same. unfortunately people are reluctant to pick up stuff (even on console it seems) because of the panty hack stuff but I've gotten some hosts to pick up my friendly invader drops. free blackflame monk armor! etc. then I kill them
It's not the shield mentioned, but i did for a moment have a build centered around using the Ash of War: Shield Crash on the Briar Greatshield. I stopped because while it was super fun causing bleed just charging at enemies with a shield it was highly inefficient when it came to enemies with more armor than cloth
Totally off topic but bro you made my childhood with your minecraft build battles, thank you
the noble slender sword can also be farmed in Raya lucaria after the Red wolf of Radagon, specifically by the nobels to the left (there are ALOT of them there being watched by two mages)
Castle Sol is Castle Sun…don’t read too much into the realm of the Sun.
For spiked club go to Volcano Cave, there is a couple large groups you can farm that's right next to a grace site
Best thing for slaying the watchdogs is Flame of the Redmane AoW. 2 hits stuns them. If you do it right you should be able to take them down unscathed without even dodging/blocking.
The flame of Redman ash is so Insane. It can poise break enemies that would normally be insanely hard to do like the ankle guarded golems.
Yo dude God bless you for this comment man that was such a help man holy shit what did you’re an actual king keep up the good work bro👍
I'm on a mission to collect everything. I've got 4 of the items mentioned in this vidoe already. Time to get the other 2!!
Not Anor Londo. Its referencing the Uhl dynasty.
Castle Sol.
@@yiangaruga4928 But sol is about eclipses yeah?
Ive been farming for cleanrot knight spear for more than 2 hrs now. wish me luck boys
I have the grossmesser and the executioner's great axe. I had no clue the others existed
Monk’s flameblade is also very good as a curved sword that can take ashes
There is at least 3 of those non boss cat statues in that dungeon you showed and I have been in a few other places with them. There are at least 5 or 6 maybe more in the game.
Love the rare drop videos, and there's gotta be something out there no ones found yet right ?
I still hope someone somehow finds a way to get the weapons that the nomads use, that weird hand sick thing. It would be funny as hell to use
The Watchdog's Greatsword with Waves of Darkness sounds fun.
Damn, dude has the same Ash on the Grossemier (Whatever) sword as I do lol. Good to know I wasnt the only one to think it looks right with fire then
Don't forget to mention. Blood nobles slendor sword has 110 blood when infused
Ok, one thing I noticed, when I farm, they hardly ever drop, but as soon as I switch up my gear to a full set at random, what I’m after, drops, almost all the time, I decided to see if that would keep working, I does, as long as you keep switching to full sets at random, whatever I was after would drop either on first attempt or the 2nd
For the Noble's Slender Sword, I've noticed a lot of sword-wielding nobles outside of the Debate Parlor if you got left after exiting towards the boss area and 2-3 that are outside of the metal lift grace. I will say the mages outside the Debate Parlor can make farming in this spot annoying af.
After farming the place in the video I decided to check the comments went to the place you recommended and got it first attempt lol tysm
Another spot is caelid highway south where you can find 7 sword wielding nobles. I got it after a couple of attempts. Just don't kill the guy with the fancy hat because he will turn into those giant troll enemies
Ive actually power stances the spiked clubs and they're quite good and fun for a thuggy build
Ah, farmed all those to complete my collection. Then the sword from those annoying cats: "Hmm, this took forever to get, this weapon has to be good". And finally a video about it. :)
Hey any one remember George R.R. Marten in a older interview saying that he's working on a new game and it's a Sequel to Dark Souls, The shield seems to prove him right 🙂
Talking about the shield, what if in Elden Ring we followed what happened after the ending "The end of fire" from Dark Souls 3 since in Elden Ring we basically bring back the fire to the world and there's lots of reference to Dark Souls and even Patches is here
The "Those that live in death" insta kill thing also works with the Incantation Order's Blade and you can put that on anything that can be buffed. Just FYI. There's even an ash of war for it too.
Medium Arcane or a larval tear burn for high. Mimic Tear Mask, Silver Scarab Talisman and Silver Fowl Foot. The Noble swords and the Watchdog Greatsword were 2 of the harder drops to get. Might save some headache. Discovery rate will be 250 or higher.
Have you gotten the Warped axe from the ogre enemies? It does fantastic damage and is pretty unique
I'd love to see more rare items in an update
Or weapons from other souls games like the gravedigger sword you can get in DS1 it swung like a heavy longsword but did the damage of a greatsword with the possiblity of poisoning it was fuckin sick carried me thru the whole game.
that great axe give me some memorys when i beat dragon slayer armor xD
It was very funny watching him use the flame shield for farming the nobles 😂 idk why but it had me giggling
Been using sun realm shield since early first playthrough cause of the design , wanted to RP a Demon Lord incarnation of death so been using it with Grave Scythe cause damn it look good
A better place to farm the Noble’s sword is in Raya Lucaria, the two nobles by the stairs outside the Debate Parlor grace, then up the broken stairs and kill all the Nobles up there. You’ll have to deal with a couple of sorcerers pelting you with spells, so I usually run up to kill them first. One of the nobles has a chance to drop noble’s estoc as well.
When I got the watchdog great sword had no idea it was good was just sitting in my inventory till I started seeing it pop up week or two later
The silver scarab and silver mask really do work
I got that Noble Slender Sword on my first kill of those guys, first playthrough... Had no idea it was that good. 🤔
Damn, now i need to try some if those weapons
I Tested out all Colossal Swords in Elden Ring... And the most Optimal are 5 Options , 2 of which are Physical Damage Custom and the 3 others are Unique Elemental CS.
1- Most Versatile Colossal Sword i'd say is the Zweihander , not only its the Lightest Colossal Sword but can be great with both Heavy or Keen Ashes of War. ( Damage isn't soo bad , plus you can freely Alternate with other weapons with how Light its Weight is... An Elemental Ashe of War Custom Zweihander will still deal awsome damage with any Versatile Option of Ashe of War Skills equipped ).
2- Greatsword , hardest hitting CS yet with how insanely its AR Damage is... Only thing is that its one of the Heaviest Weapons in the Game which would limit your other Weapons of Choice in One Build. ( Also customizeable and deals insane damage if not the Hardest hitting Ashes of War Skills on it ).
3- Royal Greatsword , now this Weapon got its Shine now after the Patch Update 1.04. ( Still really solid choice for a CS and the Wolf Assault Ashe of War still is and has better Faster cast time with Poise... Making this Special CS probably 1 of the Best Colossal Weapons in Elden Ring ).
4- Maliketh's Black Blade , Hardest hitting Special Colossal Weapon in the Game.... With insane AR and that awsome Destined Death Ashe of War. ( This is an Underdog of a Colossal Weapon i'd say , it certainly has the Highest Mixed Damage CS with High Faith/STR builds indeed ).
5- Lastly , the Godslayer's Greatsword is one of the unique Colossal Swords which has excellent Move-Set and Poise. ( With its Unique Special Ashe of War you deal insane damage with decent Poise ). Making it a very Solid Choice for a CS mixed Fire damage weapon.
The Ruins Greatsword is also a very Solid Choice of a CS weapon , however personally is prefer the Royal Greatsword for the better Ashe of War Unique Skill.... As the Ruins GS has a similar Ashe of War much like the Blasphemous Sword from Rykard. ( But its still Viable for a CS choice of weapon ).
I got the shield and i didnt know it was low drop? Its my treasure now!!
Came here to say this.
Wow I can’t believe I had 6 of those gold swords all this time 😅
4:02 wow they actually brought back the dragonslayer greataxe
The nobles slender sword I just happened to get it I didn’t think it was so rare
i got a drop on a noble armor breaker sword (or sth like that, not playing the english version) at the location of the other noble sword. Drops even rarer it seems 😵💫
The Noble Slendersword is so OP with its ability to stagger. 2 hit anything and it's down.
6:27 wait this was a random drop? I got mine the first time I fought one as I got lost in the other location of this enemy…neat.
