In this episode, we perform an audio test of different exhaust modes on a rainy day, checking how the car sounds while switching between Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus settings. We also explore the effect of the M sound button, which adds burbles to the engine noise. The video includes a drive on highway on-ramps and off-ramps, analyzing drone sounds, and planning for an upcoming muffler switch from the track edition to the switch path system. Tune in to discover detailed insights into each mode's acoustic performance.

Thanks for another great video Prabhul! I love the sound, outrageous 😍 I need this car one day!
🙌😃🙏 thank you for watching and appreciate the support 😃
@@thedevthing always man! You’re a top bloke and I appreciate the time you put into these 🙏🏻
🙏🙏🙏😃
The on throttle sound of the system doesn't sounds good to me and that's fine for the track but not the street imo🤔
Switchpath system handles this issue perhaps. Stay tuned for the Switchpath video
@@thedevthing i await the upcoming video. I have had my car since last August without any mod 🤔
@@thedevthingawesome video with clear captions love it and thanks for posting this, can’t wait to see switchpath, once there I guess I’ll decide between awe and valvetronic
@@JtheL-lo9mx that’s awesome. Thank you for watching and supporting the channel.
Switch path is installed and I love it, it takes care of that drone I was mentioning and I have the ability to open/close the flaps with the bmw modes. Editing that video as we speak 😃
@@trevorbailey1448 there is no rush I guess 😃 take your time and enjoy the process 🙌😃
lol M sound on 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤷♂️😂😂🤷♂️
AWE has always been known for having no drone. So the fact that there's any drone at all makes this option a no go for me. Any drone at all is super annoying and unacceptable.
The Switchpath has no drone. I am using that now and it’s awesome 😃
@@thedevthing Terrific. But I'm talking about THIS option. To me, it's unacceptable because it clearly has drone. I'm surprised AWE put out an exhaust that drones, that's all. I've had (and still have today) their exhaust systems on a few of my cars and none has ever had any drone at all. My current Audi has an AWE system and I love it.
@Japplesnap ah, maybe we should clarify what you mean by drone, I wonder if we are thinking the same thing.
@@thedevthing There's only one definition of drone in terms of an exhaust system and everyone knows what it is. If you're posting a video and saying that your AWE system drones, then I'd hope you know what drone is or you're doing AWE a huge disservice. For what it's worth, the drone in n your video doesn't make it into the audio, but that's not surprising because it's difficult to capture drone in a video recording.
@@thedevthing Forgot to say.....exhaust drone is basically a frequency resonance that typically occurs at a specific RPM range, say from 2,500 RPM to 2,900 RPM for example. It's typically in a RPM range that one normally finds himself at cruising speeds and is something that you can often feel as much as you can hear. It's extremely annoying and ruins the driving experience. I've had exhaust systems with drone and had to replace them with a system that doesn't drone. AWE is known for their 180 technology resonators, which are specifically designed to eliminate drone/resonance.
