The thing most sad to me about the first story is that there's no mention of whether the OP sent all the info to the affair partner to warn that poor woman. I sure hope the OP did that at one point. Everyone in this situation needs to be aware of just how awful that man is, including 'Marie'. Did she even know she was going to be used as a pretend wife so he could keep deceiving his mistress?
First Story: Um, ok this guy is weird. What OP did seems to be just a harmless joke. Why did he up and leave over something as harmless? Ok...so he somehow got a crush on his friend's fianceé and she, out of nowhere, was suddenly in love with OP's husband and wanted them both to run away together? This story is weird. Woooow, a simple joke reveals months worth of cheating from OP's husband and Marie. I find it hilarious Marie wanted to be "loyal" to Kai since they were engaged but like she broke that loyalty the first time she cheated on him Second Story, NTA: What OP's step-daughter says makes absolutely no sense. How is marrying her dad considered contribution to the college fund and it makes him have some kind of entitlement to the money? No it doesn’t; that college fund was accumulated by OP, her ex-husband, and her late daughter. That is exactly what I expected. I would’ve thought that the ex-husband would get half of it instead of current husband. Ok, so he tried to control OP financially and it completely backfired. Wait, wait, wait they were married for only 3 months?! The audacity of these two is crazy
First story: He went nuclear over a simple joke. That's sus. With the update: Well shit. It seems like he's trying to hold back his desire of cheating. With the update 2: Well, cheaters abound. Time to prepare the rusty castration tools.
Nah, think about the boomer mentality...and how many entitled people are in that group......I bet there are way more out there, we just haven't uncovered them yet, possibly because not as many are posting online. Afterall, my dad only knows about reddit because i read him stories on occasion.

I never really know how to feel about couples with huge gaps in age man. On one hand, they're adults and are both consenting (presumably). On the other hand, it's gross of the older one to be dating someone who literally could have gone to school with their kid.
Yeah, I also always think about the fact that the 58 year old is likely to be rickety for much of the marriage, you know? I'm in my mid 50s and I can't imagine marrying someone 25 years younger than me. It seems a bit unfair to the younger person tbh.
@@fdm2155 I suppose it's a thing where you have to know the couple's full story before making a judgement. Like, if they started dating the second the younger party became legal, then I'd be trying to make sure the younger party is okay. If they've known each other for years (after the younger one became legal), then I have less concern. I just don't quite get the desire to be with someone who is over 15 years older. Like... At that point, you're both at very different levels in your lives. It's just... suspicious to me, I guess.
I'm so grateful she did not give any of that money to her current husband cuz that money falls under pre-marital assets that he should have no right or access to
I’m having a hard time trying to understand the need to get married too soon or without really knowing the guy you’re dating. So weird to me. Is this an American thing?.

I was listening to this in my car whilst driving home. I stop at a stop sign next to a playground, my windows are rolled down and I gets to the part where he is saying "nudes nudes and more nudes". I realize how loud it was and look to my right to see a couple of teens and a parent just staring at me with a "what the heck are listening to" look.
I love goofy- having fun and not taking myself too seriously.... If I made a lotion man and my partner didn't react or just leaves - that would be process of elimination in my book .
I wonder if this was a step in husband’s plan to mold OP? First change her night time wardrobe, then dye her hair, go to the gym, etc all while still cheating on her since he’s scum?!
Agreed. Especially since I do dumb stuff like that all the time.....if my partner were to react in such a way as to even just look at me like i was annoying them instead of smiling at the very least, I would be in emotional/psychological anguish 😧
Lido Miyamoto was the 3rd generation descendent of Japanese lotion tycoon Mizuki Miyamoto. Upon the death of his father, Lido inherited the Miyamoto fortune, drawing the attention of a beautiful young American woman. Lido's heart was ensnared by her wiles, and he moved to America with her to get married and start a family. But her heart lusted after other men. She cheated on poor Lido and divorced him for her affair partner. The judges, blind to her concupiscence, awarded her sole custody of the children and the lion's share of Lido's fortunes. Lido's inconsolable grief caused him to spiral into depression. He drowned his misery in hallucinogenic drugs and cocaine. On one particularly quiet day, a crash was heard in his residence. The police came in to discover Lido's lifeless body. He had baked a horrifically poisonous cake filled with drugs and iced with his company's strawberry scented lotion, and died after consuming enough lotion to fill his entire windpipe. It is said that Lotion Man now appears as a haunting vision to the unfaithful, following them wheresoever they go. Cum turns to sickly sticky lotion, lotion bleeds from the walls, finds its way into their food. Lotion Man himself appears 4 days before he intends to expose the adulterer to the consequences of his or her actions, a sarcastic, vindictive smile on his face. It's over. Justice will be served.
I am running out of r/slash to watch, other than the daily episodes I am now watching episodes from 3 years ago. 😂 I had to install a plugin to hide all the watched episodes because scrolling back to far every time was a pain.
The thing with that first story...if you want multiple partners....why not try Polygamous relationships. Just find a partner who is ok with it and communication is a part of it😶😶 cheating makes no sense to me😵💫😵💫
im shocked that OPs husband reconsidered the relationship over lotion man. shit like that when my bf is in his pjs, messy hair, sleepy because its way past his normal bedtime, and cracking stupid jokes is when I am reminded how deeply in love i am. OP will find someone who appreciates her for her goofy personality.
Not gonna lie. I was still half asleep when I opened the video and I misread "serial cheater" as "serial killer" and I kept waiting but then I finally looked again and realized my error.
Lotion Man melted my brain too, no real biggie. But... the "My step-daughter is three years younger than me" I... wut? But if your wife and daughter are checking the same age bracket on their forms, and I don't wanna knock age gaps, but that is one HECK of an age gap. I... my brain is gonna shut down to reboot.
Regarding Story 2: Good for OP, but what was she thinking dating let alone marrying a man who's nearly 30 years older than her?! 33 and 58 is an insane gap! By the time she's 40, he would be hitting geriatric age. Thank God she got away; grief makes you do crazy things I guess.
If my dad dated someone who was only three years older than me, I'd be pretty upset because that's weird and creepy, but I wouldn't blame her, I'd blame my creepy dad, and I certainly wouldn't ask her for anything or feel entitled to her money. I'm glad OP left, she deserves so much better than an old man who just wanted to control her
Last story: it would be nice for you and your ex husband to collaborate with your daughter's old school to set up an annual memorial scholarship for a student who maybe wants to go into the same field your daughter wanted to go into, or has the same interests/activities that she did. If you gave a $2,500 scholarship every year, the money would last ten years, helping ten students . . . or $1,000 a year for 25 years/25 students, whatever you want the duration to be.
1st story: That's nuts. Glad lotion man had OP's back. 2nd story: They're right. That money could help someone they know more than "some charity." Take them out for a nice relaxing walk and discuss who they know that could benefit from it. Then find a homeless vet and introduce yourself. Since you now know them, give them the money. The entitlement from this stepdaughter and new husband is a red flag bigger than that of China. Not only don't give them the money, but I'd seriously consider leaving. They have no right to any of that money as it's all been accumulated before they were even a thing in this relationship. You know it, they know it. Yet still they think they have any input in how it gets distributed? Nah, fam. As other commenters have mentioned, I'd rather burn it in a barrel than give it to those entitled pricks.
Last story: Whaaa? Is the stepdaughter serious? How is it that money that OP and OP’s ex husband had the new husband’s money as well? Does she seriously think that because she is now a family member that she is entitled to the money? The step daughter is nuts.
Imagine hating someone, and having the guts to ask for 13k that you don't actually need, to a grieving mother no less. If she didn't want to donate it, it'd still be her money. Not the new husband's, and certainly not the stepdaughter's. The stepdaughter is basically an acquaintance/ new husband's family member that the OP doesn't have a good relationship with, asking to gift them 13k. Not even loan and paying it back. Gift. If anyone called her an AH I'm flipping my shit, cause that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard
I've heard the lotion Man story like five times. Every time I hear it, every time the reader says "lotion man" , in my brain it plays as "TROJAN MAAANNN!!!" From the old trojan condom commercials!
Oh boy! This kinda reminds me of how the marriage of someone I know ended, but roles were reversed. Apparently she wasn't very happy and eventually the 5 men she was having affairs with found out about each other and that she was married so they collectively contacted her husband. It got very VERY messy.
A man who ups and leaves for DAYS with no explanation like that would have some pretty intense explaining to do. I might not be ready to talk when he gets back. I don’t know if that explanation would be good enough. Probably not. Omg that’s even worse. Okay well NOW ik it would not be enough
Lotion man, take me by the hand Lead me to the girls with my husband Lotion man, my learning of the cheating of my man Is a real trip Lotion man, the lies of my husband thrown aside by the sand Soaking up the salt of the land
Aside from everything else... as someone who is heavily involved, both professionally and as a volunteer, in the nonprofit, NGO world, I have to say: YES $13,000 would make a difference to a large charitable organization. But, $13,000 would also make a HUGE difference to a small group, and there are plenty of small environmental organizations out there that make major improvement in local ecosystems with very little money, sometimes with annuals budgets less than $13,000. And, as OP is thinking about doing, a scholarship of some type would also make a great, positive difference in the lives of the students who receive the money. I remember as a student people apologizing for giving me a stipend (quasi-volunteer work) of "only" $100. I was, however, always grateful. Often that money went toward expenses like groceries. Sometimes it allowed me to 'treat myself' to a beer or coffee with friends that I otherwise could not have afforded (yes, the rest still went to groceries). Shame on OP's hopefully-now-exe husband and his selfish daughter. Three cheers for OP for standing up for what is right and for standing up for her daughter and daughter's memory, and for herself, in this way.
The first story, here's something everyone may find comforting, how you get them is how you lose them, so Marie and that jacksss (don't remember his name) will cheat on each other. I hope they both end up with super gonorrhoea.
Dude. If you like redheads, marry a redhead. What this guy did was betray 3 women and his brother just to get his rocks off different. Your (hopefully ex) wife sounds like a gem. I hope he never finds happiness before he finds his honor.
I actualy had a car accident with my ex the same day her daughter did. I was lucky enought to survive and it was the scariest moment of my life. Over here when we have a near death experience we say we were born the second time. Good for the OP for keeping the money from her second husband and his spoiled daughter and I´m really sorry for her loss. I cannot even imagine how she feels after all that.
I listen to a boat load of audio books on audible and I can definitely listen to you narrating/acting out a book. you should see if that is something you could get into.
It's kinda shitty to say it's not like an adult to assume something you did made someone angry at you. Adults with autism and neurodivergency often have RSD, or rejection sensitive dysphoria, which makes us overthink absolutely every little thing whenever someone shows some kind of negative emotion towards us. To shrug it off as immaturity is just an asshole move.
Second story: She doesn't like OP, but she feels entitled to her money. NTA. She just want to turn her possible debt into OP's debt. With the update: Perfect. With the update 2: The college fund is on OP's name and he thinks he has a say in it? Things doesn't go thst way.
Marie's a horse of the same colour who cares?
First Story: Um, ok this guy is weird. What OP did seems to be just a harmless joke. Why did he up and leave over something as harmless? Ok...so he somehow got a crush on his friend's fianceé and she, out of nowhere, was suddenly in love with OP's husband and wanted them both to run away together? This story is weird. Woooow, a simple joke reveals months worth of cheating from OP's husband and Marie. I find it hilarious Marie wanted to be "loyal" to Kai since they were engaged but like she broke that loyalty the first time she cheated on him
Second Story, NTA: What OP's step-daughter says makes absolutely no sense.
I just love how Lotion Man is as an important character as everybody else in this story (for real!) xDD - He is the best part of that story
Usually the younger person in the relationship is the Golddigger not the 58 year old loser and his daughter lol 😂
Nah, think about the boomer mentality...and how many entitled people are in that group......I bet there are way more out there, we just haven't uncovered them yet, possibly because not as many are posting online.
Afterall, my dad only knows about reddit because i read him stories on occasion.
@@SoManyRandomRamblings yeah fair enough
@@SoManyRandomRamblings You raise a good point there :100
Story 1: If my wife showed me lotion man, I'd show her a real lotion man.
Weird joke aside, I'd love my wife for that sort of stuff. It keeps the relationship fresh and cute.

I really do like the update videos. So often videos leave me angry at what happens and curious about the outcome. So it is nice to have content that resolves questions.
Highly recommend the subreddit he's taking these from, there's so much wild stuff that doesn't quite make it in. Some of it will even give you the warm fuzzies too!
I usually take screenshots when he has the titles up from AITA and bc it includes the OP and then I look them up on Reddit to check for updates. Sometimes, at the time Rslash posts the vid, there’s already an update there!
@@kranberry3318 I do this too sometimes when it's something that really gets to me. Unfortunately, then there are the ones like the pregnant lady who was maybe going to be murdered by her husband's family that never get resolutions, but sometimes you get lucky. As someone that mistakenly married a Serial cheater can fully understand her predicament.
If he actually loved you he wouldn't cheat.
I was surprised he didn’t try to convince OP into an open marriage. If he was dumb enough to let Lotion Man blow his cover I’m sure he’d be dumb enough to ask!
Yeah, that's the point of a committed relationship, right? If you're gonna run off after any attractive person you shouldn't be married!
True
Story 2: Man…this story was equal parts heartbreaking and enraging…
How much audacity do you need to have to demand someone (who you openly dislike) give you the money that was supposed to go to their dead child…
Honestly r/slash i think you were too generous on your butthole rating.
This is MINIMUM 4/5 maybe 4.5/5.
Op i’m glad you got out of their, your ex and his spawn sound AWFUL.
It might be the hopeless romantic in me, but I hope Kai and OP eventually end up together.
same for op #2 and the father or her daughter
I was shouting at her "don't do it, don't trauma bond with him just because both of you are in the same craphole!" 😂 really, who would want to end up with someone who was remotely a part of that whole debacle? I'd want all reminders of it put behind me!
@@s0lastsummer7 also true. I kinda think it's funny if they bond for months over the trauma and then they just disappear from each other's lives like nothing happened lmao
Me too
The "Lotion Man" husband was planning on leaving way before the lotion man joke. It just gave him an excuse to leave.
Edit: I typed the above halfway through. Yep, he's a piece of crap.
Correct, guilty look for anything that can flimsily use as a "justification"
Yep
Lotion man is a hero tbh
funny how in the last story, for once is the ex-husband (OP's first) that's actually a decent guy
Oh….sweet lawd….every time I hear a crazy story like this…all I can say is my brain has boarded a bus and has driven off into the sunset…and I don’t know if it’ll come back
Story 1 is why you don't get married right away!
I need me a wholesome lotion man kind of woman. That kind of "immaturity" is the best.
I know, right!
Define 'too soon'. People also get married after years of living together only to discover they don't know their partner at all. No guarantees.
@@fdm2155 true that..... narcissists can hide their true colors for insane lengths of time.

Lotion Man: *was actually part of the problem*
Arse Lash: *surprised Pikachu face*
He wasn't the problem he was more the 'canary in the coal mine' he was just indicating that things had gone bad
Gotta be honest, the "lotion man" lady sounds like quite a catch! Level headed, funny, dedicated, social... What a fool the cheater is for giving all that up!
Lotion Man: Destroyer of Toxic Relationships!!!
Got cheated on recently, had a good laugh made friends with the other guy. Love the coincidence of this upload about cheaters.
Love you R/Slash! Your readings are always entertaining.

The petty side of me kinda wants to see OP and Kai get together. That would be the ultimate karma 🤣
Her: We have a great wedding… fairytale… smooth sailing.
Me: He cheatin’ aint he?
I love goofy- having fun and not taking myself too seriously.... If I made a lotion man and my partner didn't react or just leaves - that would be process of elimination in my book .
I wonder if this was a step in husband’s plan to mold OP? First change her night time wardrobe, then dye her hair, go to the gym, etc all while still cheating on her since he’s scum?!
Agreed. Especially since I do dumb stuff like that all the time.....if my partner were to react in such a way as to even just look at me like i was annoying them instead of smiling at the very least, I would be in emotional/psychological anguish 😧
The last story is suspicious. Is that really his daughter? Or are they scamming people out of their money 🤔
How to tell if someone is cheating: Lotion man

All of these episodes are on Spotify. I have them on repeat!!
Lotion man is the hero we all need, but only a few will get.
The thing with that first story...if you want multiple partners....why not try Polygamous relationships. Just find a partner who is ok with it and communication is a part of it😶😶 cheating makes no sense to me😵💫😵💫
The train crash analogy cracked me up the way he said it lol "this is kinda worrying" 🚂☄️💥🔥🔥🔥
Honestly, Lotion Man is the real hero here
im shocked that OPs husband reconsidered the relationship over lotion man. shit like that when my bf is in his pjs, messy hair, sleepy because its way past his normal bedtime, and cracking stupid jokes is when I am reminded how deeply in love i am. OP will find someone who appreciates her for her goofy personality.
Not gonna lie. I was still half asleep when I opened the video and I misread "serial cheater" as "serial killer" and I kept waiting but then I finally looked again and realized my error.
I did the same as you. Lol
In the first story, OP's husband did them a favor. Anyone who isn't Team Lotion Man is to be considered highly suspect 🤔
A person occasionally making stupid jokes does not mean they are immature. That's how I knew his initial excuse was BS.
Lotion Man is the Hero we need and deserve.
Story 2 : Reverse gold digger? He really thinks he's entitled to that money he didn't contribute anything to?
He married a woman that is roughly as old as his daughter. Huge red flag
He can't claim your premarital assets in a divorce settlement
Is it safe to assume that Lotion Man is up there with the Iranian Yogurt and Art Studio in Reddit lore?
So the lotion man story..."How could you possibly think it was your fault"
Tell me you don't have trauma without telling me you don't have trauma
Nah, fam. As other commenters have mentioned, I'd rather burn it in a barrel than give it to those entitled pricks.
lotion man ruins yet another marriage but this time he wasn’t the villian HE CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS
Yeah, I bet lotion man was the very first red flag in an otherwise “perfect” relationship
You make me laugh in hard times! Thank you RSlash and Yugo!!
Last story: Whaaa? Is the stepdaughter serious? How is it that money that OP and OP’s ex husband had the new husband’s money as well? Does she seriously think that because she is now a family member that she is entitled to the money? The step daughter is nuts.
I have no idea how people can be so heartless and deceptive.
Never apologize for exposing cheaters. The most disgusting filth needs to be brought to light to be cleansed
Lotion man? Wild story just. If my partner would joke with me, and just have fun in comfy clothes? Marry them
I've heard the lotion Man story like five times. Every time I hear it, every time the reader says "lotion man" , in my brain it plays as "TROJAN MAAANNN!!!" From the old trojan condom commercials!
Honestly, the first story sounds like several comedies I've read. The only thing missing is a steamy scene with OP, Marie & Allison all in one bed.
Lotion man is literally one of the my favorite stories in terms of twists. Reddit history
Oh boy! This kinda reminds me of how the marriage of someone I know ended, but roles were reversed. Apparently she wasn't very happy and eventually the 5 men she was having affairs with found out about each other and that she was married so they collectively contacted her husband. It got very VERY messy.
Lotion Man may not be the hero OP wanted, but he sure was the one she needed. The husband in this was such a scumbag
A man who ups and leaves for DAYS with no explanation like that would have some pretty intense explaining to do. I might not be ready to talk when he gets back. I don’t know if that explanation would be good enough. Probably not.
Omg that’s even worse. Okay well NOW ik it would not be enough
Lotion man, take me by the hand

"Thinks that $13,000 would help her in buying a house."
*Laughs in modern housing market*
If “Lotion Man” makes your husband that upset, the marriage was doomed from the beginning.

OP's should be thankful that dougebag showed his true colors and from where his daughter got her nastyness.
