Steph obviously, he’s the one that didn’t have to leave. Steph won before, with and after KD. KD hasn’t won anything outside of GS, the narrative would only continue to be KD can’t win without GS. Kareem was already considered the greatest of all time before Magic Johnson was even drafted. Kareem legacy was already intact before magic you have to realize how long Kareem played. During that 80s run Magic was the best player on the lakers most of the decade. Look up the stats.

I’ve never heard anyone say that Shaq and Kobe’s championships are tarnished because they played together. The hate for Steph has created an obvious double standard within the media.
They can't wrap their minds around a small guy who happens to be light skin and pretty with green eyes can dominate the entire league the way he has without being a freak of nature and super athletic and is more popular and admired much more than the guys that fit that typical NBA player look. Marcellus basically acknowledged that this would not be a good look for KD, without even knowing it, by saying how LeBron and Steph are in a slugfest fighting to get to head of the table, but Marcellus didn't mention anything about KD in the fight to get anywhere near the head of the table. That makes KD the new James Worthy, an all time great, but not a top 10.

The NBA media makes this weird thing where they assume if you just add a really talented player, that it will lead to success. The Warriors literally just proved that a team can beat a more athletic, talented team. Well he was 2nd in scoring this year and the season before that was ranked 6th in defense. Problem was this year AD was out more than half the season and they have zero depth so he had to prioritize offense 🤷♂️

Steph doesn't need a superstar to beat Lebron. The 3-1 travesty came with a Draymond suspension and an ejection in the fourth quarter of steph being fouled out after playing amazing defense. Those are called phantom fouls. It came down to one game with all the games being officiated in LeBron favor with Lebron having to cry to the league office to have Draymond suspended.
With all of that Harrison Barnes had a game where he scored 0 points. He was terrible that entire play off run. Literally every thing that could go wrong went wrong and Lebron barely beat them.
They bested them by one game.

The Warriors don't need KD, nor should they invest in him. KD needed the Warriors in order to win 2 championships. He played in about 90 games in his 3 seasons with the Nets, is older, and he gave up on his teams. They are asking to much for KD and he's not worth it at this stage in his career.

Both. How are we gonna argue the fact that both Kareem and Magic are both top 10 players and won 5 titles together. Kareem won 1 mvp with magic and 1 finals mvp with magic. Magic won 3 finals mvps and 3 mvps with Kareem and that never diminished either of them. The problem with the playing with a top 10 player argument is there are only 10 in that equation. When wilt won with the Lakers Jerry west was likely a top 10 all time player at the time. When russel won his titles Sam Jones might have been a top 15-20 all time player at that time. I don't know if you realize this but KD hasn't had more than 4 healthy seasons in his prime outside of Golden state. In one of them he won a MVP.

Wiley's argument about LeBron is pretty whack, and laughable. It's based off of a narrative that more and more people are starting to realize is overstated. The narrative being GS had no chance of beating the 2017 and 18 Cavs without KD. But the real laughable part of the argument is suggesting that Curry and GS have to worry about LeBron and the Lakers. There are a few threats in the West, but the Lakers aren't one of them. They need to get rid of Westbrook, add Kyrie, and show that AD (and LeBron for that matter) can stay healthy enough for them to be considered a legitimate threat. And those are a lot of conditions to meet.
I do agree that Curry would benefit more from KD rejoining GS, but it has nothing to do with LeBron. People have pretty much widely accepted that Curry should have won Finals MVP in 2015, and he can win a title with KD (with the 2022 chip). Adding KD back would just enhance Curry's chances of winning more rings, while being regarded as the leader of GS. And adding more rings under that regard will move him slowly up the list. I don't really think he'll reach the top 5. But if he finishes with 6 or 7 rings, the debates would begin.
Why is it fair when LeBron has the All-Star team but when someone else does it, it's a problem? How is this a LeBron topic???
