I realized yesterday that it's really KD to blame for it all. Here's why: If it wasn't for KD STRONGLY backing Kyrie to come with him, then the Nets ownership would've fired/moved Kyrie a long time ago for his bad behavior. KD yesterday showed us that he didn't want to hoop anymore... at the Nets arena.... but he still wants to play with Kyrie. That means KD still backs Ky and his shenanigan's. So KD is to blame for it all, acting like all he wants to do is hoop, but doesn't take any responsibility to lead a championship team. Charles Barkley was right, he ain't a bus driver, he's a passenger 100%. Even Lebron won a chip with bad teammates. Tom Brady even won 1 SB with the Kyrie of the NFL, Antonio Brown. KD couldn't even get past the first round with top 3 scorers in the NBA. That's embarrassing and he needs to own it.

If you don’t see how Kyrie is at fault then I just can’t help you. The GM, owner, and teammates of Kyrie Irving cannot predict that there will be a global pandemic and that people will riot at the Capitol. Every other person had a normal response to the situation. Kyrie did his normal BS of having to be a contrarian. They evaluate signing him based on how he affects a basketball team not how he reacts to every day life situations. If you want to blame someone else blame Kevin Durant for publicly backing Kyrie Irving. Without KD there is no Kyrie
On a sidenote the whole statement about there are no bad students just bad teachers is ridiculously false. There are plenty of bad students. Acho literally gave an example right after talking about people making it impossible to have a functional working environment . Kyrie Irving Is the definition of a bad student

Did the Nets ever win NBA championship? Both Kyrie and KD are champions before joining the Nets. Without them, this franchise is just a joke. So before you blame the star players, look at what this organisation has accomplished for the last 20 years. The Nets were bottom of the NBA food chain for many reasons. Management and ownership is part of that problem on why they were so bad, even with prime championship players, the whole franchise cannot deliver.

The situation with Covid wasn't standardized throughout the NBA. Teams like Heats, Suns, Mavericks, Spurs or Trailblazer, etc don't require their players to get vaccinated in order to play. Nets self imposed such rules to restrict Kyrie from playing. And are now denying him a max contract for following those rules. And painting the blame on him through the media. KD realised what was going on and got disillusioned towards this horrible organisation, that's why he wants to leave, because if the Nets can destroy Kyrie today, they can destroy KD or any other players on their payroll in the future. We live in the free world, no one should be subjected to such corporate tyranny. The Nets never win championships in the past for a reason, mismanagement, to blame everything on the players is so irresponsible. If you cannot see it, there's nothing else I can say.

I just want these two to handle every issue in sports. They use logic and make arguments based on the same. They don't make an argument the center of their points, they "explore" the issues together, like Acho said.

Let this be a cautionary tale for the NBA about the pros and cons of player empowerment.
Brooklyn gave too much control to KD and Kyrie, it looked good at first but inevitably capitulated.

Acho, love ya man, here's the thing of why lottery winners mostly end up broke. There is a different mindset between some one who wants money and some one who has money. The wanting person is in acquisition mode. The person who already has is first a foremost in protection mode. Those in acquisition mode often do not see this difference when they cross over to having money. Rich folks first and foremost protect that money. Sure most want to make it grow bigger but first and foremost they want to make sure they never have to live in acquisition mode. Many folks who get big money don't see that difference and so they continue with acquisition mode. They are used to spending all or most of what they have and so when big money comes they do the same thing. They do not know to change gears and go into protection and growth mode.
So the biggest reason for those who quickly receive wealth going broke again is because they do not understand the change in circumstance requires a change in attitude and perspective. Sad but true. Many perhaps most just can not change gears when the big money comes.

This whole thing starts with them hiring Steve Nash. They never responded to him. If Nash was a tougher coach I don't think harden or kd would have left. Players ain't leaving a coach they respect and look up to.

Nah, sometimes there are bad kids and bad students. It's not all on teachers, parents and coaching, at a certain point a person has to take accountability for their own actions, not blame their issues on others.

Nets might be losing some guys but if they keep getting crazy good trade packages back then they will be better off then they were to start with. They should get a ton for KD after what Gobert went for n the fact Kyrie opted in so now they can ship him wherever also they should get a nice return on top of Simmons n Curry etc they already got for Harden who looked Washed really

@@bweise3 Yep like the Harden trade looked great come playoffs when he was a shell n KD is 33 so if they can get anywhere close to the 4-5 1st rounds that Gobert went for on top of like 4 players that was an INSANE package for 1 guy

I like both takes, but Acho's take about Kyrie resonates with me more. Yeah, Kyrie is a head case, but he has shown us this time and time again. Accept people for who they are and peep their pattern of behavior. This show is great.
