Why are so many people not familiar with Thanasis Antetokounmpo background before he was drafted? He was a talented young professional overseas player and played in the D League before getting drafted in 2014. What has Bronny done outside of his HS career? He suffered a cardiac arrest and didn't play all that well at USC after recovering. They talking about Lebron pulling strings for his son, but they don't understand that people see Bronny's path to the NBA as a basketball talent issue. It would be one thing if he played decently at USC and got picked, but the young man only started 6 games and played poorly. He is basically coming out as a HS talent that doesn't have the talent to be in the NBA and the worst thing happened to him by being advised to forego one more season in college just to fulfill his father's dreams to make history.
Seeing him at the "draft party" was really sad in my eyes.
