    Hi Collen, I had fibroid & cyst. I got rid of them naturally, but I had to cut off all dairy, bread, chicken & beef. Only ate veggies, turkey, lil rice. Increased my kelp=iodine. Pills, seaweed chips, castor packs with kelp powder every other day. within 3 months they where all gone. That was over 10 years ago, never came back bcuz each year I do this routine 2 months a year to keep them from coming back. I hope this helps you or someone else with the same issue.

      You can replace regular cow milk with goat milk which is more tolerable, I have lactose intolerance and goat milk does not cause any side effects at all

    You look good. 😍 People don't realize walking helps you lose a lot of weight. I lost so much weight walking on a treadmill for 1 hr and outside for 1 hr. Once the weather is back nice, I'm outside.

    Its been 2 weeks since i started ADF, today i checked and I have lost 7 pounds. In this 2 weeks I have cheated every single day of my eating day. I have been eating alot of junks. But now I will get strict with my diet. Also in the past 2 weeks I have done 4 light workout sessions. I am looking forward to improve my diet and my workout. Then I'll give another update after another 2 weeks. Till then bye and tc.

    I started focusing on zone 2 walking a few days ago with 16:8 fasting in a calorie deficit and I can't believe how much weight I've lost already. I also experience issues with fibroids when it "acts" up I will do a 48hr fast or ADF it usually helps.

    You look AMAZING darling!🤩 You’re the reason I’ve been doing ADF since last May(almost a year!) I’ve lost tons still got 20 pounds to go and you know what I HAVENT done? Exercise.     That’s very interesting, what you have created for your walking routine. I love your three-part walking strategy.
    My son and his fiancé visited me from Northern California about three weeks ago and he got me walking again. I’m excited to build up my endurance and create longer walks, every three weeks.
    This week April 8th will be the week I add two additional blocks to my walking routine.❤

    I have a walking pad, but I use the bars. Ive only had it for a week, and have walked everyday. I love it! My treadmill is in my storage house out in the back.

    Colleen, I just had a procedure called a sonata for fibroids. I can share more if you'd like. My bleeding landed me in the ER wit a 5.7 hemoglobin. The sonata does not involve cutting and is minimally invasive. I now only have two-three days of heavy bleeding during my cycle since the procedure. Caffeine and acid make my bleeding heavier, so I avoid them during my cycle.

    Hello Colleen.. It's me again. It's good to see that you are still keeping you first.
    I'm in my second year of ADF but struggling. initially lost the weight I wanted, but now I'm craving carbs😡 like crazy. I'm 10-15# up. losing 10# is good, but want to lose 15# and gain that back with muscle. When you know you know.
    I lost my initial weight ADF fasting only.
    I will make 14k steps/day a goal to see that that boosts weight loss and breaks my plateau. It may take me a month or so to get there, but i got goals. I felt so good feeling lighter. I'm still down 42# yay. But still a work in progress trying to figure me out.
    Keep up the great work. You are so inspiring. I'm working on abs, too. You look amazing !

      @colleenmariet it would be very helpful. Maybe your next book. We have to know the next steps without putting the weight back on. Old behaviors sneak up on you, and before you know it, you are in a perpetual state of starting ADF over and over rather than continuing with the progression. Thank you for responding.     Fibroid and cyst are usally excess estrogen growth. Castrol oil packs, wild yam cream, licorice root and dong quoi are really good for hormone balancing. I also add flo overian support. Just what i did to help my Fibroids and polyps

    Not sure what else you eat along with your protein but I wouldn’t necessarily think it’s the protein. I’ve gone full blown carnivore since being diagnosed with fibroids about two years ago and they have not grown and cause no issues for me . I have not had another sonogram to see if they have possibly gotten smaller . I’m sure fasting will help also . You are going to make me increase my walking and also do some incline. I’m at 11,000 steps now . Maybe I will up by 1000 or so every few weeks .

    I have a desk treadmill too. I got the Urevo but it comes with a handle-bar that I can use to keep me steady (so I won't fall off the treadmill when looking away ☺😄☺) The handle-bar can be up, or let down, to move out the way if needed.

    Hi , Colleen I totally agree with leaving the scale alone and focusing on clothes fitting and what the mirror shows. I get in 10,000 to 14,000, aspiring to get to 20,000. Have you tried Castor oil packs for fibroids? Castor oil has been shown to heal many ailments. You always share useful info!!! I'm going to check out the Keto Chow!!!

    Consider the endoscopic fibroid removal surgery which is an outpatient procedure if your fibroids are small....monitor at the doctor's office to make sure they are not getting bigger. Best of luck xx

    Coleen I have fibroids, didn’t eat meat for 18 years, didn’t have dairy and my hair has been natural for 25 years. Everyone is different. Healing isn’t a one size fits all. I’d recommend you get your hormone levels checked first. Oestrogen and Cortisol levels are very important. My fibroids were caused by stress not meat or diary (because I didn’t eat those things). Have you tried To The Root? She has some great content on fibroids.

      Thank you for this. I do feel like that’s a common misconception. EVERYTIME I fast, my fibroid symptoms decrease or disappear, perm or no. Meat or no.

    If you would like to try shepherds purse tincture and cola de caballo tea to help stop the bleeding. It's totally up to you. I'm 50 and hormones are off the chain and that's what I take to stop the bleeding or spotting. Search it up to see if it's for you. 😊

    Hi Colleen! If you keep craving meat...you may be a blood type O or B. I have a book called Eat Right 4 your Type. It's full of very in depth information about different foods that can cause the body inflammation due to blood type. It also has a long list of illnesses and diseases with different holistic protocols to use according to your personal blood type and condition. Very helpful information...hope this helps you to find relief.

    If you want to eat meat still, I'd suggest organic pasture raised chicken and eggs and organic grass fed beef and lamb, as well as eliminate caffeine... The caffeine is probably aggravating your symptoms and throwing off your hormones as well

    I had fibroids, trust me on this, it's the meat, the high protein", that's the problem. i was told, it's the meat.i'll go vegan, then it stops, vegan protein powder. its hard but i do eat wild salmon or lots of green juices and smoothies.salads.

    Hi Colleen- I love this kind of vlog- thanks for sharing. I’ve made this suggestion to you in the past on the subject of fibroids- meat and dairy are No Bueno! Think about it- you’re taking in the hormones of the animal plus your own natural hormones- you’re on overload and the body doesn’t know what to do with the added estrogen from the beef, dairy, chicken , etc. - Not preaching , just lovingly suggesting. BTW- you’ve really leaned out. You look great!

      @@colleenmariet it did not. I kept my ovaries for that very reason and got rid of everything else. I wish I had the surgery years ago. It’s so liberating to be free from all the issues I had because of those fibroids.

    Hi Colleen. I tried searching for info on protein intake while following ADF but found none online. Would it make sense to increase your protein intake from 50 to 100 g per meal on non fasting days to maintain muscle building momentum?

      Per meal? No, but per day yes. It will be difficult to gain muscle during ADF but it’s possible to develop and maintain muscle.

      You’ll be fine, just don’t do ADF the week before your period and it shouldn’t affect the hormone that attributes to hair growth/loss.
