    I am an ADF faster but I’m also a doctor. Ladies PLEASE PLEASE Please check with your doctors before taking supplements or ACV and even fasting. As a liver specialist, I’ve seen people go into liver failure from supplements and other additives that do one job but harm other parts of their body. Nothing against Colleen and her advice but remember to be safe and seek advice from your own healthcare providers.

      I agree, it's important to consult with your doctor and to listen to your body too. I wish my doctor could have suggested fasting instead of a new medication.

      I agree. I took Biotin for over a year straight and developed Hyperthyroidism. I'm confident it was the biotin because you can not take biotin and take thyroid tests because it affects the test results.

      @@tinglesanonymous yea I’ve heard of this happening to many people. I would advise you search for a physician you can trust, that will listen to your concerns and work with you on your journey to better health. Not all of us push meds. Some truly understand health is a continuum and there are many factors at play. Good luck!

    You in inspired me to start ADF. I work out and all but for some reason since i hit 40 my weight has been stuck. I also have a wild sugar cravings. Im 5' 8 170 lbs and i want to get back to about 145-150. I started ADF on 10/29/2023...started with a feast day. When i weighed in on 11/01/2023 i weighed in at 163...im still in shock by how this works. Im continuing this journey for sure. For the dolls who just crossed over into 40...our bodies have changed, we have to change up the whole routine. Finally a solution that works!

    Colleen! I am soooo happy that I found your channel. In 2020 I did a weight loss challenge and lost 40 pounds! 2021 I kept the weight off. By 2022 I stopped doing what I was doing and between that and now I pretty much gained all of my weight back. I'm been sluggish, depressed, uncomfortable, looking back at photos and being so mad at myself. I kept trying different things and NOTHING would change the scale. I happened to be recommend one of your videos on my main page AND I'M SO HAPPY I DID! You've changed everything for me and your videos have been such a blessing to me. Tomorrow marks a week since I started ADF and I've already lost 5 pounds. Your videos help me on my fast days and keep me going! It's such a mental game and after my fast days I am SO PROUD of myself. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with all of us here. You've helped so many women, including me. I feel so much less bloated, more energy, and I feel happier! I can't wait to see where this takes me.

    ACV in a cup of water with a pinch of salt at 10:30pm keeps me from having Late night cravings. It really suppresses my appetite. This is a game changer. (1 Tbs ACV to 1 cup of salted water…the salt cuts the harshness of the vinegar)

    You can't get dependent on Melatonin. As a matter a fact you can train your natural circadian clock by taking Melatonin and going to bed at the same time for about two 2weeks, and you naturally get sleepy because you've trained your body. I've studied and did it after having covid insomnia

    Great tips! I definitely prefer the “Clean fast” people don’t really realize how much not doing a “clean fast” on fast day is making them feel worse then what they need to😩. It could all be so simple, but unfortunately, people rather make it hard. Unknowingly, of course! Great video, and congratulations on your success🎉

      Very true!! I kept thinking a little bit of coffee with almond milk would help me on fast days then realized nothing but ice cold water and salt capsules was all I really needed.

    When I'm on my ISH I have the ACV followed by a shot of ginger juice. Makes me feel like a super hero before my runs & it mellows out my bloating along with cutting cravings. Love ya Colleen 💕

    Just an f.y.i. on apple cider vinegar...the brand shown here is extremely popular, however it is already diluted with water, check ingredients. I highly recommend using a pure and undiluted brand which contains just 1 ingredient: apple cider vinegar. You may have to shop around however the benefits of pure ACV, no additives, are noticeable. Also if possible, Can you often include that you got a breast reduction because some people think they can achieve that look from just weight loss if they have overly large breasts and it's not true.     Colleen, thanks for sharing these tips! They actually align with Dr. Fung's advice in The Obesity Code. This is the third video of yours that I have watched and you have inspired me so much! Also, my primary care doctor encouraged me to take magnesium. I take Mela-Out, a product by Melaleuca which is also my supplement company. (I take their REST EZ which is 5 mg of Melatonin with Ashwaganda, and L-Theanine. I like it bc it is a time release capsule, too.)

    I'm going too add acv... I've been doing hibiscus 🌺 tea black tea or herb tea... no sugar no cream... water and when I get hungry hungry water with cayenne pepper 🌶.. spicy but definitely takes hunger away . chewing ice too . ginger and turmeric capsules first thing as well

    Hi Colleen I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but I am not seeing any difference or seeing any difference on the scale …my weight is 85 kgs and my goal is 62 kgs which is healthy for my hight and age ..I don’t know what I’m doing wrong I am 1 month in

      I've been watching Dr. Mindy Pelz, she mentioned that fasting can affect your sleep, which can lead to weight gain. There are different factors, I would definitely keep a journal to track how you are feeling everyday. Just something to think about, I'm no expert lol Hopefully that helps :)

    I didn't even know ADF was a thing until I started doing it 3 weeks ago. I'm now convinced Google/CZcams are now reading our thoughts because I get several ADF video suggestion every day. Haha. I recently had to change it up a bit due to digestive issues, but now everything is good. I started out doing a 48 hour fast, eating one meal every 48 hours for 2 weeks. I was having 2 large coffees every day with half and half and eating a zero to low carb meal on eat days. I lost about 20 pounds in the first 2 weeks and another 5 in the 3rd week. I added a small salad and broccoli on my fast days to fix the digestive issues, but even with that, it's still a 24 hour fast. Anyway, congrats on your success.

    My 60 year old mother is 6 weeks on adf , lost 20 lbs in the first 3 weeks with strikt adf, water and coffe only, 40 hour fasts and from there on she didn 't loose a single pound. Now she wants to give it up, very frustating... 😢

      Probably CZcams Dr. Mindy Pell, she have a ton of information for women fasting and hormonal health, possibly your mom have to fast per her hormonal needs.

      She made big effort and now you need to eat normal with 2 meals a day for a while to settle it with healthy plant foods not much carbs and after view weeks start again

      Thx for your advice. She did not give up and lost a total of 30 pounds within 2 month which is impressing. She weighs herself in after every fasting day and most of the time the weight drops only after 3 fasting days (6 adf days) and then 2 pounds most of the time. She wants to do some variation now, I will show her your recommendation. @@user-px3cd3lf8k
