I just picked one up for$215 on Ebay. Ran it but didn't grind anything yet. Taking out the 3 bolts to clean it is trivial for the price. Heavy duty motor!! I build equipment in food service and seen rust on stainless steel like that when cross contaminants were on the polisher,( used polisher or grinder on steel then on stainless without changing disc). I believe it is a # 12 size and that size can go for quit a bit of $$. I think you got a good deal and wish you luck with it. Hope your happier with it's output than you are with its craftsmanship. Don't get your fingers caught in the feeder! The in-feed tube should have been a little longer.

Vevor carries some darn good chamber vacuum sealers. Much cheaper than buying something domestic. Has minor cosmetic imperfections but it's no big deal for that product type.

For the money (300.00) is a VERY good deal for that grinder. if you look for ant want to find things that suck about what you bought (even for a great deal on a grinder) you can easily do it.

Replace the hex bolts with high quality stainless steel socket head cap screws and replace the original hex head bolts. That will at least make cleaning a bit easier task.

Do you happen to know what size the bolts have? I'm guessing M4 12mm?

Lot of Chinese crap out there ready for the landfill out of the box. But this one is actually pretty good from what I see online and in reviews. Amazon sells it [or another iteration of it] for $250 or so. Lower quality stainless does spot rust, no surprise there. Linseed oil wipe down fixes that. That cast grinder portion is top quality, and one can clean it on the power head without taking it apart. the BIG question is what's in side? Would love to see. I saw one review where the drive shaft broke off, so the metallurgy is in question internally. But unless you want to pay $3000 for a USA Hobart that will grind a buffalo, this is what we have to work with unfortunately. My grandmothers OSTER grinder, made in Milwaukee Wisconsin in the 60's is still running and I just ground 15# of pork/deer in 40 minutes. Plastic housing and spiral, just a few pounds, but just will not quit. Got a second one for $10. Those were better days for American appliance manufacturers

I can confirm that the build quality is pretty rough. First the machine is really dirty with grease and fingerprints, as if it was taken straight from production. The metal casing is full of sharp edges and rusty spots. The sharp edges are even inside the T-Pipe where it touches the meat, you definitely have to give it a very good cleaning and probably some filing. But otherwise it looks really powerful, it really grinds that meat without problems. The knife, knife plates and the worm are really good quality though.

cry me a river. wish you would focus on what matters; the motor and wiring; though you did say the wurm was good and blades were good; so of the things you mentioned that matter, it seems ok. I'd just replace those screws; cheap and easy fix; but stainless will spot if you don't oil with food grade.
