- The Colorado Rockies are stuck in a bad spot. In a division they've never won in their 30 year history and it's not getting any easier. The Dodgers have Shohei and others with an endless payroll, the Diamondbacks just won the NL and have a young team only getting better, and the Padres have major star power themselves.
So it's time to try something completely new to try and overcome these odds: A Draft Only Rebuild.
A staple of the channel, the Draft Only Rebuild challenges us to build the team up using only the Rookie and Rule 5 drafts after we tear down the ENTIRE 40 man roster after the first season.
One major twist added for this year: Trades. I am allowing 3 trades in this series, but only for prospects, and only for one prospect per trade. So we will need to time them right and make sure they hit to ensure we don't waste them.

Do was absolutely the right call, if Dorsey starts heating up and the bullpen isn't horrendous it'll be hard for the cardinals to come back. Rocktober does not disappoint!
I’m definitely liking the decision to start Do so far. I thought we should have lost game 2 but with pulling that game out I agree I think that’s gonna be tough to come back from for them.
Dylan Carlson in the MrHurricane franchise always raked in the playoffs, nothing has changed
true that. He was awesome in the regular season as well, had 7.3 war.
Two crazy Coors Field games. I love my Cardinals, but I lived in Denver from 1983-88, and I'm really enjoying this Rockies rebuild. Playing Do over Cerny was definitely the right call. Naylor is a beast in the clutch. He has a 97-99 clutch rating depending on the year. I can't wait to see the rest of this series.
Naylor's clutch was definitely in effect this episode. Was pretty much automatic in the 7th inning or later.
Holy bejesus, that Game 2 was a wild ride!
For these first two games, the seesaw action of the score must be spiking your blood pressure, but I gotta say it makes for great suspense and entertainment.
It’s definitely a wild ride watching this team during recording, but I love the late action we’ve gotten so far already in the playoffs.
Brian Do is him as u said and Clemente Herrera is a legend already we gotta close out games tho this team had me mad until Kyle brown got that hit I knew something ☝🏻
A lot of great performances so far. Our two best players probably aren’t even top 5 performers for this series which is awesome

We don't have any great players (yet) but the bullpen is definitely pitching below expectations thus far.
Bro, these games were straight fire. Bullpen is tough though. Giving up late runs after taking the lead.

Yeah having power bats all throughout the lineup has certainly been clutch in the playoffs so far.

You should let yourself “manage” in the playoffs. Maybe change team select and put your pitchers in and then change it back?
Yeah I’ve thought about doing that. I wouldn’t have much say if the cpu wanted to pull a pitcher earlier than I wanted but it could help. I want to let the cpu try and figure it out for a couple more games before I hop in to see if it was just game 2. I didn’t mind the decision making in the first game.

2. Rookie(s) play well and win awards

Reminds me how I hate that all the MLB pitching prospects in this game are freaking 5'11 ...good attributes and potential but too short to be prototype size at that position. Frustrating
