- The Colorado Rockies are stuck in a bad spot. In a division they've never won in their 30 year history and it's not getting any easier. The Dodgers have Shohei and others with an endless payroll, the Diamondbacks just won the NL and have a young team only getting better, and the Padres have major star power themselves.
So it's time to try something completely new to try and overcome these odds: A Draft Only Rebuild.
A staple of the channel, the Draft Only Rebuild challenges us to build the team up using only the Rookie and Rule 5 drafts after we tear down the ENTIRE 40 man roster after the first season.
One major twist added for this year: Trades. I am allowing 3 trades in this series, but only for prospects, and only for one prospect per trade. So we will need to time them right and make sure they hit to ensure we don't waste them.

Dorsey's pop basically disappearing in the World Series combined with shockingly bad bullpen sunk this team. It felt like Dorsey had so many chances to contribute to wins and would either strikeout or hit soft singles that didn't help. Frustrating time for MLB the show to decide the MVP can't hit for extra bases. Next year Dorsey will get all his hitting stats up into the stratosphere! The GOAT will prove himself!!
Certainly not the World Series I was hoping for from him, but he’s still just a rookie.
Despite losing the WS, you have to be happy about how the team did this year. Clemente Herrera was a playoff beast! And Zac Veen wasn't far behind. The CPU does some weird things (caught stealing, sending runners to get thrown out, etc), but this team will continue to get better. I think losing Morillo made a big difference in the last 2 games. Regardless, this is a great franchise series.
Yeah beating the braves made this run an impressive one even without going all the way. This team should be back soon.
Since watching your series. I done a few of my own franchises and I watch the World Series games. Idk if it’s the scripting of MLB but my best players like Dorsey always does terrible in the games vs the guys you wouldn’t expect be amazing. Batting like 400
And I’m talking about players like 99 Jackson holiday or like a 99 overall player I made for fun to see how high his career stats can get
The World Series definitely felt different than the other playoff games but the Yankees just outplayed us.
Team is gonna be a dynasty over the next 10ish seasons with good health luck🎉🎉🎉🎉

@fiendfranchise for sure, he deserves it. It is a funny narrative though, every at bat scrutinizing his potential contract numbers. Strikes out? Minus 1.2 Million!
