- The Colorado Rockies are stuck in a bad spot. In a division they've never won in their 30 year history and it's not getting any easier. The Dodgers have Shohei and others with an endless payroll, the Diamondbacks just won the NL and have a young team only getting better, and the Padres have major star power themselves.
So it's time to try something completely new to try and overcome these odds: A Draft Only Rebuild.
A staple of the channel, the Draft Only Rebuild challenges us to build the team up using only the Rookie and Rule 5 drafts after we tear down the ENTIRE 40 man roster after the first season.
One major twist added for this year: Trades. I am allowing 3 trades in this series, but only for prospects, and only for one prospect per trade. So we will need to time them right and make sure they hit to ensure we don't waste them.

Doing my Cardinals dirty with the sweep! What a fun series to watch though. The Braves have Acuna and Harris signed so cheap that they can afford other good players all over the roster.
True. Acuna did reach the end of that deal and sign back for high end money though and they still can afford it. Wild. Hopefully our team looks that good one day.

Great playoff debut indeed. Agree it did kinda seem like they could have lost these games but found a way congrats are deserved. That Morillo at bat with rhe 3-0 count man, he should have a mashed it, middle up like Ohtani-son but idk, guys do sometimes take that strike no matter what 👍 he made up for it on defense weird game for him..( how is his stamina i wonder if thats it) That lefty from StL was impressive
I don’t think his stamina was in a bad spot, just a rare hitless game from Morillo. The rest of the team balled out though.
Macias was awesome. Made me wish we had traded for him a few years back.
Saw my first 80 overall prospect 2027 draft nationals got him #1 still learning the scouting as I didn't catch it, was never in a position to get him, missed out on a top closer on discovery but I took a starter late second thinking he'd make it to the 3rd and someone else found him😢😂😢😂

i think taking out pitchers and trying to prevent bad pinch hitting by the cpu is totally within your "umbrella of command", you draft the team set the lineups manage the roster hire coaches, you can do some in game stuff too imo bad cpu decision is just bad lol like i get annoyed with you
There’s really nothing I can do to avoid the cpu deciding to pinch hit or run for someone. The bullpen I can have some control of if I want to, but even then the cpu can still decide to pull a pitcher earlier than I’d like and put in someone other than who I wanted to put in.
If I can’t figure out how to get the bullpen to function how I’d like it to I might have to start managing it a little bit, but there’s nothing I can do about the pinch hitting and running.
