  • The Colorado Rockies are stuck in a bad spot. In a division they've never won in their 30 year history and it's not getting any easier. The Dodgers have Shohei and others with an endless payroll, the Diamondbacks just won the NL and have a young team only getting better, and the Padres have major star power themselves.
So it's time to try something completely new to try and overcome these odds: A Draft Only Rebuild.
A staple of the channel, the Draft Only Rebuild challenges us to build the team up using only the Rookie and Rule 5 drafts after we tear down the ENTIRE 40 man roster after the first season.
One major twist added for this year: Trades. I am allowing 3 trades in this series, but only for prospects, and only for one prospect per trade. So we will need to time them right and make sure they hit to ensure we don't waste them.
I am EXTREMELY excited for this project, and if you are too, PLEASE hit the like button on the video and Subscribe to the channel if you haven't already.
Drop any comments about suggestions for the series, I read them all and take all suggestions into consideration.

That wild throw off the 3rd base coach would be all over sportscenter. What horrible luck. LOVE that Dorsey HR!! Best player of all time in human history doing his thing!

That was a wild play haha. Saved us a crucial run.

Herb Reyes has to have photos of somebody in the front office. At least Dollander gave up solo shots. It could have been much worse. Loving Clemente Herrera breaking out in the post-season since Dorsey overshadowed him in the regular season. Also, Dorsey has that Roger Clemens build on the mound...strong thighs. Arizona (1,082 ft) and Atlanta (1,050 ft) are the second & third highest elevation cities in the MLB after Colorado, which helps the ball travel there.

Herrera getting so much spotlight is my favorite thing of the postseason so far. I think I'm gonna have to move Reyes to MRP to lessen his innings.

Building a winning team in MLB the show is so hard. Trying to make a solid rotation AND a quality bullpen is not easy. It feels like you can't slug your way to wins with a bad bullpen.

True, but I think we've got the pieces in place. Might just need another year or two of development and I could see our roster looking somewhat similar to what the Braves have.

I've found it waaaaay easier to draft good pitching than hitting. After a decade I always have too many good pitchers and not much good bats. Easy to draft great defense and pitching

@@chrisrhodes2 definitely easier to get pitching.
