- The Colorado Rockies are stuck in a bad spot. In a division they've never won in their 30 year history and it's not getting any easier. The Dodgers have Shohei and others with an endless payroll, the Diamondbacks just won the NL and have a young team only getting better, and the Padres have major star power themselves.
So it's time to try something completely new to try and overcome these odds: A Draft Only Rebuild.
A staple of the channel, the Draft Only Rebuild challenges us to build the team up using only the Rookie and Rule 5 drafts after we tear down the ENTIRE 40 man roster after the first season.
One major twist added for this year: Trades. I am allowing 3 trades in this series, but only for prospects, and only for one prospect per trade. So we will need to time them right and make sure they hit to ensure we don't waste them.

Watching you go through the way the Rockies offense has performed throughout the playoffs leading into the World Series really brings into perspective how impressively this team has been put together over this series. So much better than my own attempts in my game. Well done getting to this point!
It's been an elite offensive run. unfortunately game 1 was the opposite.
Loved the intro. Took me back to the A's franchise you did. I wasn't expecting a blow out like that, but don't fret. Back in the 1960 World Series, the Yankees beat the Pirates 16-3, 10-0, and 12-0, but lost the series because Pittsburgh won all of the close games (6-4, 3-2, 5-2, & 10-9). Game 7 was the Bill Mazeroski walk-off HR in the bottom of the 9th. Hoping the Rockies can repeat that series.
Had to make an intro for the World Series. I don't think game 1 was a death nail, but I was very confident coming into the series and now I'm wondering a bit.
Game 2. And coming out of the starting rotation, a surprise, herb Reyes 🤣😂🤣
that would be hilarious and terrifying. luckily I manually set the starter each game.
They really need to make the bullpen options more clear in franchise mode. I have no idea how the computer chooses who comes into the game in relief. So annoying.
Don't worry, Dorsey will save the Rockies with a commanding performance in this series. Dorsey = GOAT.
Yeah it seems it always favors the starter no matter where I put him. Super annoying I wish it’d go off the list I gave them.
