Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

What a likeable person Theo is, heâs carried on with the build alone like a little trooper without Bea, and obviously missing her along with the natural worries that her condition brings. Then heâs smiling away throughout Beas return so nice to see, what a special person he is.

Itâs so good to have Bee back! We have missed you! In the USA, we have granite or quartz counter tops. Back in the 80âs is was porcelain tile countertops. Some had Formica. Some had butcher block. You do whatever you like, itâs your home. About the fridge, no need to explain! In the UK and various other places around the world, the under-the-counter fridge/freezer is what is custom. A lot of European kitchens have washer/drier combos under the counter, too. Never apologize for what you do in your home- if thatâs what you want- you be you and put in what you want. Remember, itâs your barn conversion, itâs your life, and you extending the invite to us to share in the process is a privilege for us, and if some of your audience disagree, they donât have to watch. So be you! We love sharing in your lives and all that you do!!! And so glad Bee is back!

So very happy to see Bee back where she belongs!!! The kitchen already looks beautiful. Just a Suggestion for the small area to the left of the fridge .... how about one of those narrow slide-out spice racks? Ikea probably sells one of those to match your other cabinets
So to see that Bea is back on your farm! Theo you look so happy to have her back with you! I canât wait to see what surprises you have for us!!
Maybe for the small unit you have planned on the other side of the fridge could be a spice rack? Everything is looking beautiful-itâs amazing to see your progress!
Or a spice rack on the top slide out with vertical storage for trays underneath the spices. Or shelving with baskets to store produce like potatoes or fruit. Would love to see some floating shelves on the stone wall to store dishes and above the sink could be a rack for letting washed dishes drip-dry right into the sink.

I have been fighting an infection and trying to care for my brother these last few months He has had a kidney stone and his gallbladder removed. I have been stressed. I watch your videos and it is so relaxing with the chickens and goats and Nature scenes. I find your voices very Soothing. I had some things I needed to do this evening so turned your video on so I could hear your voices. Itâs so good to have both of you again! Lovely to see you back Bea , the look of happiness on both your faces is great to see. We spent 15 years years going to Portugal in our Motorhomes for the winter such wonderful times and just seeing those lovely oranges on your trees makes our mouths water (they were the best). unfortunately health and age prevents us from travelling overseas now so we get our Portugal fix watching you both living a great life together, sending love and best wishes G and D Bristol

Although I do have one of those wine rack units that youâve mentioned and we only used the outer carcass and added a door to the front. Itâs handy for baking trays and lap trays. đđ

Sheep are more grazers. Goats love to browse. If you want your grass mowed get some sheep. The goats are great on weeds. Also If you want a way to cook outside you might build a beehive oven using cob. You could build your own grill also. Why buy when you have what you need right there to make what you want?
