If you added a battery, a small solar panel ,pressure switch and water pump you might not need to use the petrol water pump .
A normal lead acid battery and small solar panel to charge it would be enough power for a decent sized water pump .A water pressure switch would turn on the water pump as soon as you opened a tap .

Love your videos. Nice project! Can I be that annoying person who knows better..? Make sure you cover all the black tubing (also from the ground to the taps) with insulation. Still standing water between 25 and 45 degrees celsius creates legionella bacteria which can kill you (worst case scenario) if entering your lungs. If you drive a car or tractor on the terrain where the tubes are then I think they must be deeper in the ground to prevent damaging and maybe freezing on the coldest days. Maybe consider covering the well to prevent growth of algae, keeping it cooler and avoid dirt getting in. Just letting you know to keep you safe, so we can see a lot more videos!

OUTSTANDING!! Great work! Dance, sing, celebrate all you want, the farmer smiled I promise you! I am surprised the frost depth is so shallow, but I don't live there so I have no idea. Once it warms up some, a little platform for the pump to sit on will help keep trash and muck out of it. Building that will be better than pulling the pump up and cleaning the gunk off of it every couple of hours. As always, great job guys! I'll bet your arms felt like rubber after digging those trenches Dan.

That is an excellent job done. To most, digging the trench would be serious hard labour, but to a Mackem it’s a mere nothing. Good on yer Dan, you didn’t even break into a sweat, a true son of Sunderland.

Yes, I had to strap mine down to 12 inch spikes because a mini-tornado/dust devil picked it up and dropped it down 25 feet or so away from where I had placed it. I don't even trust the little holes at the bottom now. I just threw a long ratchet strap over and hooked that to the spikes, then tightened it down. (Not sure of the Metric equivelants of these measurements).

Just remember the black water pipe will heat up in the summer hot enough for a shower and very quickly!
Rather than waste the hot water, rig up a temporary shower by the house.
    Just an idea🤔
And when you want to apply PTFE tape hold the fitting in your non handed hand apply the tape with the tape roll upwards like it’s the back of a snail, put your finger only through the tape and apply tape to thread and you can un roll so east and quickly sometimes it good to put on a pencil first. Just a couple of easy tips. I been plumbing for 54 years so can give you lots of guidance to make things easier😂👌Naughty Nigel in the UK😉

I think you will be extending the facet by the house higher. Build a bench with some of the blocks. So you are not working in the mud. Your buckets or dishes can be on a bench. Save your back and keep buckets clean and off the ground/mud. I did the same with one I put in my back yard. Had to fix it. My back is not what it used to be. Keep it up you 2!!!!

The pipe couplings you used do not need thread tape as the pipe is sealed by an O Ring in the coupling. As you learnt by experience you need to push the pipe in fully. We have done similar things on our 1 acre property. It had a Bore (Well) when brought it but no taps or plumping from it. We now have 6 taps running from it for irrigation. Keep up the great work.

Congrats and great job in installing the water line and connecting. Consider setting an ibc tote about 15 feet or higher (maybe on a tree securely in if you are unable to make a structure) above the ground and harvest rain water into it, this way you have the water pressure and it will supply without needing any power (generator) which will save your money. Try it and if it's a success you can do a few ibc's like that near each tap you have installed.
I harvest rain water as I have suggested to you and it supply to my requirements and it makes a significant difference in costs
