She asked if any of us had seen this process before and I proudly raised my hand and told the whole class that I churned butter every day after school. I had everyone convinced that my family never went to the store and produced all our own food at home. Flash forward to the next school assembly and my mom, who just so happened to be an old friend of my teacher at the time, approached her to say how cool it was that we were so self sufficient and my mom was understandably confused. I casually mentioned I watch it too (even tho Iâm not a sports fan and have never seen an NBA match in my life).
